Ever caught yourself screaming, "I could just kill that teacher"? What would it take to justify such antisocial behavior and weeks of detention? Especially if he's the best teacher you've ever had? Giving you an "F" on a quiz? Mispronouncing your name during roll call...again? How about blowing up the moon and threatening to do the same to Mother Earth—unless you take him out first?! Plus a reward of a cool 100 million from the Ministry of Defense! Okay, now that you're committed... How are you going to pull this off? What does your pathetic class of misfits have in their arsenal to combat Teach's alien technology, bizarre powers and...tentacles?!
The students of 3-E turn a surplus of eggs to good use—in pursuit of their usual goal. Karasuma teaches them the art of parkour while Koro Sensei teaches them the game of cops and robbers. Then, someone is stealing lingerie, and naturally Koro Sensei is the prime suspect! But is he being framed…and if so, by whom? Lastly, biologically modified Itona discovers that sometimes tentacles can be a burden rather than a gift. He puts everything he’s got into his latest assassination attempt on Koro Sensei…but who will save Itona from himself?!
Yūsei Matsui (松井優征 Matsui Yūsei?, born January 31, 1981 in Saitama, Japan) is a manga artist known for manga Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro. He was an assistant of Yoshio Sawai, the manga artist of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo (Shirota Masakage made a cameo appearance in Shinsetsu Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo).
Volume 10 of Assassination Classroom features an attractive rainbow cover that is maybe the most memorable thing about it. It also features two assassination attempts on Koro-Sensei. One is Kayano’s attempt to kill him through flan—making a huge vat of it with an explosive device buried it, but this is short though of course silly. The second take him much of the volume, and involves new student Itona, who has had tentacles implanted like Koro Sensei.
Our Favorite Teacher is teaching them the fine art of parkour. There’s a certain amount of low level pervy middle school boy humor in this volume. Cops and robbers game playing as part of classroom learning. It’s all mildly amusing at this point. But this was a sort of detour volume/arc, I suspect. The important thing that happens is here over time is a deeper and deeper relationship between the students—whose characters we get to know better—and their teacher, whom they more and more love. . . . even as their attempts to assassinate him ramp up!
I think that the flan story will stick with me for quite some time. The students of class E come up with their most incredible assassination plan yet: a giant (about the size of a small car) flan with a bomb at the bottom. Normally this sort of thing would only work in a more cartoony book--Donald Duck or Richie Rich, for instance. But Matsui provides numerous details on the cooking process, how to get it all to set properly, etc. which help sell the idea. It blends what seems like a great deal of research into what is, at heart, a gleefully silly idea, and produces the trademark Assassination Classroom balance of the serious and the absurd. Still loving this series!
So, I'm about halfway through the series, and I have to say: It's AMAZING!
So, the moon is blown up by some octopus like, smiley face headed monster, and he plans to blow up the earth in one year's time. So, he makes a deal with the Japanese government: Make me a teacher to the dumbest class in Japan, and they can try to assassinate me.
At first, the manga seems like a jumble of nonsense. But, as the story goes on, you begin to notice that this thing has a lot of heart to it. You begin to notice the teacher's love for his students, and their perseverance to kill him. You begin to notice mysteries stuffed into the book's nooks and crannys, like who was Koro Sensei, why was he made, and how the heck do people get these tentacles?
All in all, A.C. is a lovable, enjoyable and HILLARIOUS series, full of everything a manga needs. Recommend to anyone who loves manga.
Bring on the parkour! The illustrations for that were actually pretty cool. I love how so many of the little things they learn are built on and utilized in later volumes, like with the mountain climbing to parkour bit. I really do love both Koro Sensi and Mr. Karasuma so much, they are great teachers. Mr. Karasuma always looks out for their safety in what ever he is teaching them, and always encourages them. Koro Sensi as I have said before, is great in the academic part, tailoring things specifically to each student and truly caring about their life outside of school. This particular volume did have a few more manga humor scenes than some of the others, but they were done well and were pretty funny. Finally we get another hint of Koro Sensi's past! The scene where he says never let a students hand slip for your tentacle (or something close to that) the memory is of two human hands... not that it tells us much we don't already know! This is more of a long game manga, right now most of the plot is taken up with the various assassination attempts and tests for school, with some one shorter plots worked in that tie into the assassination training, and the overall question of who and what Koro Sensi is is pretty much left alone, with just small hints. Very small hints...
Sensei has such a simple character design that you'd think there wouldn't be much you could do with covers featuring only his face, but they are consistently unique and funny. Vol. 10's has a neat "hologram" effect.
This manga continues to be weirdly wholesome despite some of its subject matter that completely justifies an "older teen" rating.
Tim murid kelas E pun beraksi.
Not really enjoying the manga much at this point. It has good moments, but it seems like there's a lot of fluff. Also I think it works a lot better as an anime for me cause the action is just so well done there, but a bit tricky for me to get into sometimes as a manga.
Honestly this manga series is so bonkers but I absolutely LOVE it! This part full of fake bra thief’s, flan assassination attempt, Terasaka actually helping with his words, Itona finally joining class 3-E. Honestly, jammed packed, full of action and just makes me chuckle to myself.

The students of Class 1-A cook up a unique way to kill Koro-sensei in the form of a giant sumptuous pudding. Later, the alien teacher decides to organize a intense game of cops and robbers to test his students and he is accused of being a perverted thief that turns out to be a dangerous trap with a big surprise. A (100%/Outstanding)
A rare volume that I haven't enjoyed quite as much, mostly because the focus is very "ew our teacher is a pervert" and I just...we get it. He likes boobs. We don't need an entire volume about how much he likes boobs.
I'm glad that a certain character now has the environment that they need. I'm also glad that a certain storyline related to boobs was NOT their teacher because there was a specific section that would be so inappropriate and gross if it had been. This is also one of my favourite covers (I love bright colours and the foil makes it extra cool).
Other than the best cover I've seen for a book in a long time, this particular volume managed to squeeze in some of the best aspects about the whole series. It was like a nice sample platter.
Jebakan puding, permainan polisi-pencuri & bergabungnya Itona.
Suka sekali cara kelas E menipu Karasuma sensei dan Koro sensei di ending permainan polosi-pencuri. Tapi lebih suka lagi cara Koro sensei diam2 mengajari para murid untuk meningkatkan kemampuan free style running mereka.
This is my most favourite so far! The anime episode of this is the best as well! The class is complete! It's so perfect that Itona's with Terasaka's group — I love how he's so adorably mean to them. I can imagine how swollen up Sensei's heart is from happiness. <3 This series (manga/anime) is sooooo good that I cry every chapter/episode.
My curiosity is yet to be fed and I am so stoked! On to the next one~
We take a step aside from the semester to welcome a new student. We see how the student struggled in the real world, and came across his current situation. The students slowly welcome him to the classroom after they rid him of his pain. We also see his strongest subjects, and how he might be able to help the students assassinate Koro-sensei.
