This was not at all what I expected.

In the beginning I was so confused and it washard to follow because I had no idea what all of them are talking about.
And then I realized and was mind blown.

For me this is still the story of Evan and Laney. Sure there's the Crew - and I grew to love all of them, especially Zach and Sawyer - but they became part of Laneys life and then of Evans. So all of these books about the crew, for me, also were about Evan and Laney.

There were the last two loose ends with Zach and Bennett and then these two find their happiness 20 years later, him being the same old sunshine and her becoming a somewhat bitter person. These two would've deserved a story of their own, especially since they had to wait 20 years. But it ties the loose ends and I loved it.

And having these two dancing, at the wedding of her daughter and his son, really does complete the circle.
And introducing the Squad as the next generation of this Crew, with all their children, fills the circle.

Everything together makes a pretty perfect ending.

6 Hearts!

This is probably the hardest review I've ever written. How do you talk about the end of one of your favorite series' ever? Ever. I've been a fan of SE Hall since the beginning when I just happened to find Emerge on Amazon. SE Hall was my gateway into the book world and hers was the first street team I joined. I feel like part of the Evolve family and not just the ones in the book. SE Hall has some of the best fans in the business and I’m honored to be among them. SE Hall is talented, funny, sweet, sassy, caring, and beautiful inside and out. Endure is the last in the Evolve series. We get to see more of the Crew along with some awesome surprises. It's like coming home. It's like a soul enveloping hug. It's the best present you've ever gotten. It's just perfect. I loved not knowing what was going to happen or who the opening chapter was about. I loved reading it slowly and savoring every word knowing it was going to be the end. There is the typical Crew behavior and my favorite characters are back in full swing. There are also new characters who I instantly loved. I will say this, I was not Team Dane before Endure, but now I want on that train. I love this man. He's perfect. I laughed, I cried, I was shocked, I cried some more. And, oh yeah, I cried. I'm actually crying as I write this. It was the perfect ending to the perfect story. A definite hug your kindle when it's over book. Thank you Steph!

"Shoulda slipped 'em a Mickey."
"You don't even know what that means, gangsta."

Evan: This message is now dead. Everyone delete it and feel free to text mono e mono amongst yourselves going forward.
Sawyer: RT Evan.
Sawyer: My bad, deleting for real now.

And then I see it, the moment when she decides.
To jump.
Literally.

Spoiler alert! What HAPPENED in this book? I loved the other three in this series, but I am wondering what the author was smoking here. Almost halfway through the book, things are going along fine and then BAM! Suddenly it’s clear that about 25 years have past and it’s their kids getting married? Dumb! This could have been ok if the characters had matured and this little surprise wasn’t a surprise! However, the characters are still acting like 20 somethings and screwing like rabbits. Well, here’s a reality check. When you are at least pushing 50, this isn’t normal! After this realization, the book was just ridiculous to me. I almost couldn’t finish it. Not sure why the author didn’t just continue with this book actually being Dane and Laney’s wedding, but by not doing so was a big mistake.

Confusing and overall disappointing.

There was so much story left out between the covers of this book. It left me feeling disappointed.

*****Spoiler Alert*****

Audible Plus review. Multiple POV (Dane, Laney, Bennett, & Zach; it shows narrated by 5 narrators, but I have no clue where the 5th narrator spoke). All of the narrators did a good job. Book 4 (but really book 6) of 12 in the Evolve/Full Circle series. The reasons I rated this a 1 star read are: #1 the author blindsided me with a bizarre timeline (it seemed to be written by a completely different author than the previous books in the series); #2 I didn't realize this would be 25 years after 'Embrace' even though I couldn't figure out where Presley was until the middle of the book; #3 I had no idea who was getting married for almost half of the book (maybe I missed it?); #4 "Part I" wasn't read so I was surprised when "Part II" started (I actually checked the preview of the ebook and its definitely an author error because it wasn't marked there either); #5 I was actually irate with the author when Zach forces Bennett to admit that after Tate's death she had only ever slept with him after what I assume was a minimum of 20 years (because the author NEVER specified) and Zach had been with lots of women. This double standard is ridiculous. Why do women have to stay in perpetual isolation and loneliness waiting for the man they love to wake up and realize that he wants her? Why was it ok for Zach to flaunt all of his relationships in front of Bennett? That's not romantic. That's CRAP!!!! #6 I have no idea what the cover of the audible book is supposed to be. (Now that I'm reviewing here, I see what it is. The audiobook is cropped below his jawline.) I'm going to try to translate what actually happened in my review below. Trigger warnings: Tate died in a car accident, and Dane punched Zach three times.

The prologue starts with the "I Do" moment at a wedding. The book never did specify which wedding.

25 years after 'Embrace'. Part I is Dane's & Laney's POV, and Part II is Zach & Bennett's POV). "The crew" (Dane, Laney, Sawyer, Emmett, Evan, Whitley, Zach & Benett) fly to Jamaica for a destination wedding (Skylar & Judd's), Whitley drives everyone crazy planning it even though Dane purchased a wedding package, they all spend a few days shopping, golfing, snorkeling, Zach & Bennett are acting weird, and then all of the crew's kids plus Macy, Blaze & Ryder show up early. Dane & Laney (aka Caveman & Disney/Gidget) are now married with 3 children (Skylar 22; Jefferson Tate aka JT 20; & Bren 18). Laney made him wait until she'd graduated and started coaching before she finally accepted his 16th proposal. Laney is now coaching the college team she played for, and Bren is one of her pitchers. Jefferson Walker (aka Jeff) & Trish, Laney's parents, are now close friends. Evan & Whitley are married, they built a house with the help of the crew on the land Parker gifted them, and although they had fertility issues, they have a son named Judd. Judd & Skylar are getting married (which is bizarre since originally this series started with Evan & Laney when Evan was deeply in love with Laney and now their children are getting married). Judd is JT's best friend. JT sleeps with Macy, one of Skylar's bride's maids. Bren is attracted to and eventually starts to date Ryder. Sawyer & Emmett (aka Saw & Emmy/Em) are married, Presley is their only child because Sawyer never wanted her to feel different because she wasn't his biologically. Presley is 25, living on her own and dating Blaze (an older, tattooed, Harley riding man Sawyer doesn't approve of). Zach Taylor Reece coaches junior high football, teaches Algebra, refuses to commit, and is quite the player after being burned 3 times by women. Bennett Rose Cole is single after Tate was killed in a car accident (ironically his second car accident in the series) the day he was going to look at a house he planned to buy for them; they were never married. She runs the gym Dane had given Tate, Dane bought her the house Tate was going to look at the day he died, while she dates she hasn't been in a serious relationship since Tate, Zach is her best friend now. Parker & Hayden Jones are mentioned but only briefly and again, there are no details about their triplets. Andy (Dane's former best friend/sky diving accident victim) & Samantha are mentioned briefly but have no details. It's revealed that it's been "years" since Tate died and that other than sleeping with Zach over time a few weeks after Tate died, Bennett hasn't been physical without anyone else. Zach and Bennett finally get together, Zach forces Bennett to say he's been the only one she's been with since Tate, and he'll be the only one going forward. Judd and Skylar get married and then leave for their honeymoon in Montana. Zach and Bennett decide to continue their vacation and plan to go from Jamaica to New Orleans.

The epilogue finds Laney reflecting on her children growing up, Skylar leaving the house, and then (while dancing with Evan) how Evan and her are with who they were meant to be with. JP

5 Stars!

I absolutely adore this author. Not only is she an amazing writer, but she is a beautiful person with an amazing soul. And this bleeds into her writing which is full of feels, heart, and love. This author created an epic series with the Evolve series and now it has come full circle. We get the final piece to the puzzle.. that is sure to make you laugh, smile, cry, swoon, and fall madly and deeply in love.

Are you ready for a little more of Laney, Dane, Evan, Whitley, Sawyer, Emmett, Zach, Tate and Bennett? Are you ready for them to rock your world? Have you missed the Crew? Have you missed one of those sexy guys or sassy gals? Well get ready to have your socks rocked off and your panties completed melted... incinerated... oh yes it is definitely happening! The CREW IS BACK!

This is it. The final book is here. Mrs. Hall outdid herself with the book. It was a masterpiece that spoke deep into my soul. I loved this book so much and savored every word in it. I am a fast reader but I found myself reading this book slowly, savoring each word because I knew that this would be epic and it was. I congratulate this author on this brilliance and look forward to more in the future.

I highly recommend this book to complete this amazing series!

It really pains me to say this, because I absolutely loved this series. Laney & Dane, can't get enough of them!
But what was this book? It should have been the story of Zach, with tidbits of the others showing up. And should have been set in college with the rest of the series. I was so excited to read about the girl that would capture sweet Zach's heart and hearing about the amazing proposal Dane does for Laney (or reading about a beautiful elopement between the two). Did we get that? NO

It is almost as if the author couldn't think up a good enough storyline for Zach or got bored with the series, but because she had posted this book as coming out, had to throw something together. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy reading about the "crew" as they aged, but this easily could have been done a chapter or two at the end of Zach's book, or even a novella.

(Spoilers) Killing Tate? Dane has lost his parents and even had to go through almost losing Tate to a car accident already. I feel as if Tate's death was only to facilitate Bennett & Zach. Expendable because those two never got a separate story. And Bennett in this book? What a bitchy, bitter person. Not worthy of Zach at all. I understand grieving over the loss of a loved one, and it takes awhile to move on, but seriously? 20 years? And Zach waited for that? They both gave up a life and having children because of feelings they couldn't admit?

And the drama all the crew caused at the wedding of the beloved "family" of children? These people were supposed to be in their 40's with adult children. They definitely didn't act their age, but then again, neither did the kids. The "squad" kids handed out some pretty grown up advice and insight that the parents should have been doing. Trying to figure out when the timeline was, and who is who, and what was going on, since you were only given bits at a time to sort through was frustrating.

I would have loved to have read the story of Judd & Sky, but alas the author missed the boat on this. As I said, maybe she lost interest in this series.

I was very disappointed in this book, and while I will re-read the series often, I won't be re-reading this story. There was so much potential for this book, and spin-off series and I hope S.E Hall reflects on this.

MY REVIEW (ARC PROVIDED)
4-4.5 stars!

I love the freak'n crew. I read the first book in the series shortly after it was released and became hooked. When I got the opportunity to read and review this book I jumped at the chance. I feel like they were my friends and family. In fact this series is marked as one of my favorites. S.E. Hall throws a little twist in the book I wasn't expecting and I was like did I miss something, but once I continued on a little light bulb went off and I was like Wow that's really cool and unique. So we finally get Zach's story who I've loved from the beginning. And this is going to be one tough review to write without posting a spoiler because there really are so many moments that need to be a surprise to really take in the whole story. I apologize ahead of time for the non descriptive review but I think you'll be happy going in blind. Let me just say the way Zach finds love is bittersweet.

The whole crew ends up in Jamaica for a wedding. We get a lot of Dane and Laney but also get Zach too. Zach has been burned one time too many and has vowed to have fun with women but never commit, but there has always been one woman he's wanted. There's quite a few of laugh out loud moments as well as heartbreaking ones.

I feel like this was the perfect conclusion to the crew's story. I really enjoyed where S.E. Hall took it. I would love to get a squad story now.;)

I recommend this series, it's one of my faves.

What an ending to The Crew and, can I just say, I'm truly saddened to say goodbye!

The prologue had me going, and from there I was trying to guess who and what… When it hit me I was flabbergasted, because I realized how full circle The Crew had come!! I loved seeing what was happening with Dane and Laney (my favorite couple), Evan and Whit, Sawyer and Emmett, and Zach and Bennett, among the other "supporting cast” members.

Of course The Crew has only gotten older, wiser, raunchier and just crazier!! I could not stop laughing at the men making their woman roll their eyes and the woman getting the alpha in their men to come out. There's an event that has all of them involved and has the "craziness" in Whitley truly showing up.

I will say this much that this book will have your emotions all over the place and it will give you the closure you need when it comes to this amazing Crew!! And maybe, just maybe, S.E. Hall will have a new series for us in the works?!? ~ Kara, 5 stars

This series has been one of my all-time favorites and this final book (noooo!) cemented it's status as one of the best series I've ever read. S.E. Hall has written this tight-knit group of friends in such a way that you feel like you really know them. She effortlessly switches between the male and female point of view and you get some touching, funny and sweet moments.

My favorite couple in the group, Laney and Dane, take the lead but are supported by a surprising couple that I absolutely adored. There are quite a few surprises in this one. You think you're reading about one thing and then boom, you're thrown by what you actually are reading. But, it isn't jarring, it works!

I don't want to spoil this for anyone, but for fans of the series, you will not be disappointed with this final book that brings everything full circle.

The best word to describe this final installment of my absolute most favorite book series is "Amazing".... For those who haven't yet read them yet should make it a top priority. I fell in love with each of the characters from the very beginning and will gladly say that reading them just once was ever enough for me and because I know what inspired them from the start, only leaves me with so many emotions that can never be explained. (Yes, I have to admit that I was in need of tissues throughout them all and especially during the very last of them.) Thank You SE Hall for not only allowing me to be part of each of the books in "The Evolve Series" from the very beginning but also for taking the time to putting this entire story together perfectly. ❤️❤️❤️

Ok, ending for the series but quite jarring. I was SUPER confused at the start because some MAJOR shit happens and we sort of just jump 20 years later with the Crew's grown kids and Evan's son marrying Laney/Dane's daughter.

It wasn't a waste, but nothing really new or exciting. It gives you a peek at the Crew in their 40's and you can see how many kids they had.

This book.

I don't even know how to properly convey my feelings for how this story has touched me...I'll give it a try, so bear with me. Full review to come...

FULL REVIEW

"Over the years, we've lost, and gained, some members. Some by choice, others by fate. Life has tried several times to splinter our foundation, topple our fortress--and failed. Our faith; in God, ourselves, and each other has been tested beyond measure, multiple times...but in the end, the crew saves the ship--Every. Single. Time. And we make it through the storm."

When I opened the first page of this book, I admit, I had to catch up. It takes place many years in the future from where this series began and what is thought at the beginning is really just exactly what it should be: a prelude to the end of a series. Of an era. A group of friends and their families coming full circle.

It was magic. That's the best way to describe it. Pure. Magic. Hall has a way of pulling you into the lives of each person and truly, you become attached to them. You find yourself cheering for them, cursing them, and just...loving them. Loving where they've come from, where they are, and where they're going--plus, after all this time, there is a certain someone(s) who really needed their happily ever after. Hall delivers. And she doesn't disappoint.

"We're circling around the new, smaller ring being built inside our own. And inside it, they'll be safe, because we've spent years strengthening that outer circle, forged from the hardest, unbreakable steel."

Following the Crew on their journey called life, we get to witness something truly special in Endure. And it lives up to the title, too. What they have had to endure throughout the roller coaster of their lives is just as heart-swelling as it is heart-breaking. I laughed (thanks Sawyer), I cried (thanks Laney, Bennett, Dane, and Zach), and I fell in love with a whole new group of beautiful souls just starting to spread their wings and fly. Even now, my nose stings, my eyes are watering, and my heart is completely full.

Things are as they should be, and the next generation may have some challenges to face with the foundation they've been given--there are a lot of huge expectations--but I have no doubt that The Squad will fulfill every inch of those very large shoes...at least I hope they do. (Yes, Steph. That was a hint.)

4 “Three on Me” Stars!

I am sad to see “the crew” go, but very happy to see how things ended for them. Endure is packed full of secrets, romance, humor (mainly Sawyer) and love. Everyone is headed to Jamaica for a wedding. And I am not ruining the surprise of whose wedding it is ;)

“My Dane…even when I lose, I win.”

This one is set up a little different than the previous, and I can’t say I was a huge fan of that. It’s broken into 2 parts. We have Laney and Dane’s POV in part one, and then Zach and Bennett in part two. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed all there POV’s, but I just didn’t understand the need for the two parts. But anyways, it’s not that important. Other than that, I LOVED Endure. Sawyer is hilarious, as usual. And I think he may been even funnier in this one, than previously.

“Everyone’s aware he’s going to embarrass us, right?”

Everyone is together in Jamaica for “the wedding,” along with a few extras ;) Those extras are what made the story for me. And maybe Sawyer, too!! LOL! I had kind of had enough of Laney and Dane and their perfect relationship, so I was extremely excited when all the others came in to play more. There is love, lots of love and romance!! So many that made me smile 

“I don’t know how or why, but something inside me snaps, and I’m done. Done with the lies of omission, the guilt, and most of all, I’m done putting everyone else before myself. I step into him and run my hands up his torso, leaving one to lay over his drumming heartbeat.”

As I said before, this is a great ending to such an emotional and amazing series. I have read most of this series and enjoyed every moment of it. These characters have grown from immature college students to responsible adults. And they have stayed together, like true friends do. There are many enjoyable and emotional moments throughout the whole series that you don’t want to miss out on. 
Happy Reading!!!

I have been waiting and waiting for this story, and boy was it worth the wait!!! It was amazing to see The Crew again and to catch up on their lives; at first I was a little confused with the timelines, but I quickly caught up.

The devotion and loyalty between this group of friends is phenomenal; they are there for one another for every up and down in their lives. Their bond is strong and their love is unbreakable.

Then there is The Squad, they are just as amazing as The Crew. I loved how they stepped in to impart wisdom to The Crew; which at times were the same life lessons they learned from the very members of The Crew.

One of my favorite parts in the book is: “We’re circling around the new, smaller ring being built inside our own. And inside it, they’ll be safe, because we’ve spent years strengthening that outer circle, forged from the hardest, unbreakable steel.”

Thank you SE Hall for sharing this beautiful story.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review, which was provided.

SE Hall has got me feeling some sort of a way after reading Endure. There's no words to use other than thank you. Thank you for writing such an amazing series! It's writing so well that I feel as if I'm a part of the Crew!

OMG the Crew is back together! That in itself is a reason to be doing the happy dance. With the group together there's fun times ahead.
From the very beginning, Emerge had me feeling as like I was lucky enough to be part of this awesome group of friends. Now that the end has come, I'm having all kinds of feels. Endure is more than a goodbye, it's answered questions that I had throughout the series.
Tragedy hits, fun drinking nights, group outings, and a wedding are all in one book.

Laney has always been my favorite. The one I look up to. The one that I hope to be. The one who I want to be!

I'm really hoping that this ‘Goodbye’ from the Crew is a ‘Hello’ to new beginnings.

Spent half of this book feeling lost and confused because I expected this story to kinda pick up after the last book, where they were still young not that far out of college..instead you find out half way in that the characters are now in their 40's with adult children. Was just disappointed cause I wanted to know the rest of Laney and Dane's story and we skipped right over major points in their relationship. Felt the kids could've had a spin off book or been the epilogue to the end of this book...not the entire book.

I feel as thought the crew has come full circle!

I kind of got confused at the beginning but it doesn't take much to do that! Haha!

The crew gathers for the wedding of Skylar, Dane & Laneys daughter, to Judd, Evan & Whitleys daughter. Everyone is joined in Jamaica where they take part in all the festivities.

I fell in love with this series but I feel like there was a major jump from the last book to this book! I wanted so much more....but I'll take what I can get! If you haven't read this series then you definitely missing out! Love S.E. And her books!!!!

Fair warning, there are a ton of SPOILERS AHEAD. You’ve been warned.

I felt SO LOST at the start of this book! I was so confused & I felt like I missed a ton, but checked & re-checked the reading order & I definitely didn’t. How huge a time jump was there between the last book & this one?!? It’s gotta be at least 25 or 30 years. That would have been nice to know. It honestly seems unnecessary. I can’t believe we didn’t get the proposals or weddings or anything. I’ll admit that seeing The Crew all grown up, and meeting The Squad was great fun, but it didn’t feel much like most of the Crew grew up all that much. Idk. It felt really awkward & off.

Here come BIGGER SPOILERS! Again, you’ve been warned!

I CANNOT BELIEVE that Tate got killed off?!?! And now neither B or Zack get to have kids because it’s taken them until they’re, what?—in their 50’s to get their sh*t together? That just sucks! There were way better ways for Zack to get an HEA without this plot twist. It just seems unproductive & pointless.
Also—it’s not really plausible that everyone still has perfect, flawless bodies at their apparent ages now. (Eye roll). Way to contribute to unrealistic standards & expectations.

I also hate how all these new names were dropped as though we’d have any clue who they were (Ryder, Blaze, Macy). It was so confusing! Again, I felt lost & out of the loop.

Now. For some things I loved.
Judd & Skylar. (Evan’s son & Laney’s daughter) getting married. Perfection. Absolute perfection! Well played!

And Omg, Sawyer: “I piss excellence!” 😂😂😂
JT’s speech at the reception?! Tears!!! What an incredible love story Judd & Skylar have! Excellent storytelling there! I could picture everything so well & I cried an awful lot.
The epilogue was also VERY well done. Really a phenomenal ending.

I just really would have rather seen things go differently & for there to not have been such a massive time jump. I had really enjoyed the previous books (although I really didn’t think I’d finish the first one once I realized that Evan & Laney weren’t going to stay together. That ish was brutal!) But once I was able to distance myself & accept that, I enjoyed the books. This one was just a huge, huge letdown overall.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

I jumped to this book from Emerge (yeah, the first book) because I’m a chicken-shit who refused to read about Evan’s heartache and impending assholery from book two. I was so devasted at the end of Emerge I almost didn’t finish book one because my heart cannot break more for Evan! Goddamn, I felt so miserable for Evan it’s almost a real heartbreak! 💔💔💔

So yeah, of course everything was a shocker for me when I read this one because everybody is married and with kids plus WTH EVAN and WHITLEY? lol! I’m not sold on that pairing 100% but if Evan is happy, then I accept, sort of. I did not see that coming! But that’s because I skipped three books, haha! Sawyer married plus alpa-dad was so funny to read!
Then finally, I get to read two HEA in this one: Zach and Bennett was epic, Skylar and Judd was adorable. ❤️

That epilogue part, where Laney and Evan danced while reminiscing what happened to them from then and now was very touching. My heart finally forgave and got the closure it was yearning from book one. And that Tod and Copper lines they said at the end, fuck, tugged at my heartstrings so badly! 😭😭😭

Had Laney and Evan ended up together, there would be no Crew and no Squad. That’s just sad as well as the rollercoaster life they had to endure when they separated until everything came full cirlce- they still ended up together as a family, just with more people to love.😭🤧
