First Book: Unauthorized Affair
This starts the series with Jen, a lovely young woman with a love of surfing and loyalty to her friends. Her boyfriend treats her like garbage - and she finds out just what a piece of garbage he is! When she goes to see her brother (from the first series by this author), she decides on a new career. She applies to become a police officer - and is taken into an undercover situation. There's a top mob boss, an absolutely delicious boss, and a team she feels strong bonds to. Jen finds her life path. She is strong and courageous and clever and becomes one of my favorite female characters!
Second Book: Unauthorized Deception
Ivy is part of the team with Jen. She and the other member, Ryker, fall in love in the first book - but in this book, Ryker leaves her a note and disappears. Jen comes to help her find out what's gone wrong...and where Ryker has gone. More mob mentality in the form of one of the top mob guys distant relations - who wants to make his mark and become important to the Boss, who is in prison. Trying to orchestrate an escape while doing drugs and holding Ryker as an unwilling accomplice, this mob idiot needs to come down. Jen and Ivy get help...(again with folks from the first series, a couple of FBI guys). With all that goes on in this book, it turns out there are several samples of blood taken from one of the crime scenes where Ivy got hurt. Ryker left blood there, too, along with a female cop that was shot by a druggie girlfriend...turns out that there are a couple of half-siblings according to the blood found on scene. Could Ryker and Ivy be related???
Third Book: Unauthorized Obsession
Kara, a young policewoman, has a stalker. He's getting creepier and creepier. Now she feels she is in danger. She is dealing with her healing leg, where she'd been shot by a druggie during a noise call, adjusting to having a half-sister she never knew about, and worrying about who her stalker could be, and why. As the book progresses, Kara finds herself with a new Rookie to train, new family to get to know (and love), and her blooming feelings for a man who seems to be set up to be her stalker. She ends up working with one of her female officers to try to figure the stalker out...Sgt. Gale. This case gets pretty scary and keeps the reader engaged...
Fourth Book: Unauthorized Return
Sgt. Gale is assigned to protect Coleton Savoy - son of the big moss Boss, Fiore Savoy. He hates his father and has never been involved in the family 'business', and his father now wants him dead before he can testify against him and seal his fate of life in prison. After attempts on his life, Sgt Gale takes him away to hide him and keep him safe. But what about keeping her safe...from her feelings?? This book ties up the series. It left me wanting more. The lady cops in all four books made me proud to be female! They were strong, determined, nearly fearless, and loving and kind and loyal. Great characters - Great Books!!

Each book had a strong female police woman who carried the book on her back and never let it fal. The men were not push overs they were dominant when they needed to be. The H and hs fit well together. The reason that they came together and their relationships were believable and that is missing in a lot of books. But NOT in Lisa's books.

All these great books in one collection. Lisa writes so well you fell as though you are part of the world she creates. She is able to weave a story that always leaves you wanting more. Suspense, mystery, fear, terror, romance, super sexy hot alpha males and sassy women all in one place so you can finish one and jump right into the next. Grab a comfy seat, a bottle of wine and indulge yourself. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Why did it have to end
Loved it loved it loved it. Fantastic characters to get to know and love. Brilliant continuity throughout the series. Fast paced action where the bad guys need to give the good guys more credit.

Excellent Series!
I really enjoyed reading this book/series! There was a lot of crime in Westwood Harbor, CA, most of it ordered by one man, Fiore Savoy! When cops are under his payroll, it's hard to know the good guys from the bad. This series is one that I believe everyone will enjoy! I definitely recommend this book!

Despite the price...,
...I normally don’t like boxed sets. Having said that, I enjoyed this series. Book 2 was a bit of a struggle and I didn’t like the instant turn around of her conviction that he was cheating to he must be in danger; so unbelievable in the minutes between to two thought. But, I persevered and the rest of the story was fine.

Totally loved the whole series. I am so glad that Coleton found love. I loved the bond that he had with Jen and was thrilled when he showed back up in the story. As usual Lisa you kept me captivated.

Good suspense n romance
Have enjoyed the series but would have liked more sizzling scenes and content before the individual stories wrapped up. Some were too abrupt though the mystery and suspense part were well written.

Fabulous books
I loved these books. Lisa Ladew has the uncanny ability to make you best friends with her characters and also makes you feel the emotion they are feeling. The books are all amazing and I recommend them to anyone who loves love stories

I have read all 4 of these books as well as others in this series.. Lisa Ladew writes awesome stories and this series has been a favorite of mine. Each of her books has kept me interested throughout. Each book is full of adventure, mystery, suspense, and romance. Each is a standalone novel with some reoccurring characters. There are no cliffhangers tho there are sometimes leads into the next novel. Being a huge fan I highly recommend this boxed set as well as all other books by Lisa.

Glad this was free.
I read the first book in this box and found it pretty amateurish. The heroine comes across as dumb and everything regarding the police - the way she becomes an undercover cop and the undercover operation itself - is totally unbelievable.
I then skipped to the last book in the box, hoping the author got a bit better by then, but alas. I started skipping and dnf’d it after a while.

A 4 book bundle.
Unauthorized is a collection of 4 books focusing on police officers and recruits for the department, their lives, loves and pressures of the job. Each book focuses on a romantic couple but the same characters intermingle very efficiently and seamlessly throughout. It was an ok read, fluidly written but I found some circumstances were highly improbable if not down right, impossible, definitely OTT.

I could read this author everyday!
I love the intense adventure and excitement in this series! I love how all of her books link to one another but don't rely on each other. They are very well written and edited! Keep writing Lisa Ladew cause I have about read them all!

Unauthorized Series offers the reader four books based on four female officers. It covers their life not only on the job but their personal life. Both of which tend to intermingle and places them in danger. Some of the story lines appear a bit over the top but they are fictional stories so reality tends to go out the window at times. Expect drama, danger, and eventually love.

It has action, danger and romance. Each story can be read as a single story but the whole set is better as all the books connect to each other. Gripped by each story, this was one series I couldn't put down.

Oh dear!!! This set of books had me like ummm hello Loved it. I like men in uniforms even if it is cops. Loved every bit of this series.

Finding The One For You
I gave this book series a rating of five because I loved it so much that it was hard for me to put down. Each book had thrills and chills of a cop with added bonus of romance. I recommend this series to anyone 18 or older and loves romantic cops books.

I enjoyed all four books. Unauthorized Affair started slow but got interesting about 1/2 way through. Unauthorized Deception was my favorite. Loved Ivy & Ryker's story.
