I hadn’t planned on touching Dane. He had made it clear that he didn’t want a mate. Then, it all went sideways. Dane was part of my team and unconscious. I wasn’t actively looking for a mate, but I wasn’t opposed to the idea either. I never shied away from contact, but I had respected his desire to keep his distance.
Now, I had no choice.
I was the only werewitch available on scene that could transport him to safety in a flash, so what was I supposed to do, leave him to possibly die?
The second I touched him, I was faced with the truth. Dane was my mate. A man that wanted nothing to do with a mate, a man whose life was spent on the road, was my destiny.
Oh, and did I mention, he had no idea that I was his?
Lynn Leite is an author, artist, teacher and mother of three. Her wild imagination, and gift for gab blended perfectly in 2009, when she decided to write it all down. In addition to writing, she designs and illustrates her own covers.

Wonderful advancement into a new chapter of shifters!
I gave it three stars because, this book seems shorter. When I first, looked at Shifted by Lynn Leite, it became one of my favorites! This Bitten series, seems to be a whole lot shorter in storyline, like it maybe chapters of a larger book? Doesn't mean I'm gonna stop reading now, would like something longer.
