This story is about Hellen Keller's life and how she could communicate with the people around her. I read the shorter version of the story; so, I know what it is about, and how she has a normal life, going to school, getting a job, and communicating with friends. When the story is talking about how she gets on radio shows and gets into Harvard, its just amazing how somebody, who has a hard time commmunicating with people has accomplished so much; it makes me wonder maybe I should try to be better, a person that cannot hear and see can do more than me.I would you recommend you read this book, because it shows you how much a girl who has been separated from our world because of blindness and being deaf; and how she has accomplished so much that it shows you that you can at least try to do better in school or your job than how you are already doing.
ME REUSO A CREER que una tipa que no puede ni ver ni escuchar se pudo comunicar y manejar un avion… ¿QUE? .. tipo como chucha funcionas asi ? Como sabes que existas? Es tipo el equivalente a ser una planta .
Helen Keller was written by Margaret Davidson. This story is basically about a girl named Helen as soon she was born she was deaf and blind. Growing up she had a lady to help her to understand the meaning of life and what the world is about. Helen at first is really confused but as her teacher helps her she learns to have self control. Helen after a long time finally understands everything and is now ready to go into the real and not see but, understand the meaning of life. When i was little I had a Helen Keller book but really was never interested. Now that i am older and have read the book and get a deeper meaning what it is like for a blind and deaf person. If you have a blind person in your family it would really help to read this book.
Hellen Keller was deaf and blind since she was 4 years old, so they took her to a school when she was 6 years old and she left there at 17, her parents helped her and at school they taught her to speak with her fingers and to know what it is. At 18 he graduated from school and played the violin. She is now a grandmother and is telling her full story to encourage others to move on. An interesting fact that I learned is that I did not know that many things had to be done for years so that someone who is blind and deaf can listen, speak with their fingers, graduate, know what each thing is, that is something interesting that I learned from the video. First Hellen began to change when she began to grow up she was more studious, kind and loving. Hellen's parents began to age and were a little more strict as well as more careful. Hellen's teacher Annie is wiser and the truth in the images looked higher. I liked the book, because it gives you many lessons and it is very short but I also liked the animation of the illustrations. This book changed me and inspired me to take better care of my health and thank my good health because other people suffer from sadness, depression, teasing and even bullying. Then, it helped me to take care of and take advantage of my good health and respect people who are blind, mute, and deaf. I would recommend it to a doctor or person who does not know how to respect people who are paralyzed or on those issues. So that they realize what they suffer and why they need our help, support, and respect. So that there are more good people in the world.
Trust: The Story of Hellen Keller is a short biography about Heller Keller’s relationship and trust with her teacher Anne Sullivan since she is blind and deaf from a young age because of a horrible illness. This book is a bit complex and complicated for children to understand since it is super difficult for younger children to understand how life could be without being able to hear or see anything. A silent, and dark life. It was really inspirational to learn about Hellen’s accomplishments. I think this book would be best for 4th grade or 5th grade. This is a book that could be used for a history lesson in school and English for reading comprehension.
This story of Hellen Keller was pretty good. I would give it three stars because I liked her life story but the order Mary Logue chose to write them in was confusing too me. The story of her life was really eye opening because Helen Keller did so much in her lifetime and she was blind and deaf. It seems almost impossible to live like that but she made it possible because she had her heart determined to accomplish something.
hellen was born in a rich and happy family, she was born in normal and she learn things very fast like words. one day hellen caught a severe illness and the doctor said she is going to die, the parents were very sad. but luckily hellen was saved from the disease but she was blind and can't hear anything. there was a doctor that called anne sulivan and she is going to teach hellen how to talk.
