Twenty-two year old Lucy Branson and her cousin Ben have been watching their best friend Khloe gush over Josh O’conner for three years now. The only problem is that Khloe and Josh met online and have never met in person. Khloe is determined to finally meet the young man that metaphorically swept her off her feet and find out if he is who he says he is. Worried for Khloe’s safety, Lucy and Ben join Khloe on a road trip down Route 66 to Santa Monica, California to finally have the answers that they’ve all been looking for. Relationships are created, crushed, and mended as the trio makes their way across the country. With numerous pit-stops and speed bumps along the way, Lucy learns a lot of truths about her best friends, and even more importantly, she learns the truth about herself. Lucy’s loyalty and strength is tested throughout her journey from losing the girl she thought she should be, and finding the woman that she’s meant to be.

I received my copy of Serendipity through the Goodreads Giveaway I read the book and let me tell you...

This was a sweet story of friendships being made, love, and loss. I laughed, smiled, and cried through the entire book. Lucy, Khloe, and Ben had an amazing trip on Route 66 to Santa Monica to meet Khloe's internet boyfriend. Not to give away any details of the book but it's definitely worth reading if your looking for an adventure.

The book makes me want to drop everything and take a road trip myself and live a little. :)

I'm glad that Khloe made it to California and hope that everything works out with her and Josh. I'm also hoping there will be a second or even third book to this one. I want to see what happens with Lucy and Trent as well as Ben and Caroline.

I've never really liked reading books except for Michigan/American Chillers and sometimes Captain Underpants here and there. As someone who mainly plays video games, I can definitely say after reading Serendipity it has made me enjoy reading more than I ever did before! The plot is superb and contains many surprises which makes you want to keep reading just to find out what happens next. The characters are unique in their own way and you begin to take a liking to them as you get further into it. All the adventures/events that take place in this wonderful novel will keep you on the edge of your seat. If you like reading, writing, and if you're looking for a great read Serendipity is the perfect choice especially if traveling & romance is your forte.

The reason for the trip shows the strength of friendships. The travel down Route 66 shows the trials of travel and the surprise meeting with exceptional people. The trip builds friendships, as well as, showing love and loss. I received this book through a Goodreads giveaway.

I was disappointed from beginning to end. It was boring and maybe needs a rewrite. I don't recommend this book.

A sweet romance that took me on an adventure down Route 66. Being from Australia and never visiting the USA, I enjoyed the journey - greasy diners, balloon rides, the Grand Canyon, Vegas and a sexy cowboy.

I WON this book through the Goodreads website Giveaways.

I enjoyed the book, I am very familiar with Route 66 and it was fun to reminisce while taking the trip with the characters in the book.

It was a fun story!

It was maybe for more of a younger audience than I, but it was a goodread ;-)
