Einführung in das mathematische Arbeiten (Springer-Lehrbuch)

Rate this book

I am happy to be the first one to review this; a great great introduction. It doesn’t show you how to write proofs, but the ones written in here are concise and intuitive. I did all the exercises in it and though I was a bit annoyed that not all exercises - especially the hard ones - had solutions in the solution manual online, I found them very gentle overall. With some math textbooks the exercises are not manageable without external help online or from a professor, whereas here you read a section and the knowledge imparted is more than sufficient to be able to solve the problems. Recommend to all students who’re interested in the basics of mathematics.
