Being bad for a thug never felt so damn good… Anika Scott only wants love and a man who appreciates her, but she’s in a relationship with a married man who also happens to be her boss. But one day, she meets the infamous street king, Blaze. His rough exterior and thuggish swag attracts her immediately because he is so different from the typical man that she normally dates. There's just something about Blaze that Anika can't shake and she finds herself unable to stop thinking about him. Things don't get any easier for Anika when Blaze's charm manages to captivate her and things get heated between them. And things don't get any better once Anika finds out about Blaze's true profession as a dope boy. But even with all his secrets out in the open, Anika still finds herself wanting to be with him but there is one problem stopping them…Masika. She won’t let go of her man easily but she has a secret that could make her whole world crumble from around her. And it has to do with her ex-boyfriend/soon to be ex-husband and rival street thug to Blaze, Leek Carter.

A banging read!
Miss Jenesequa has done it again. She never disappoints. As usual this was a banging read. I loved the storyline. It wasn't the typical thug love story. All kinds of lies and betrayal was revealed. I didn't like Anika at first, but then she started to grow on me. I don't know what to say about Blaze. I don't know if I like him and Anika together or not. I will have to read part 2 before I decide or not.

Miss Jenesequa you have yourself a true loyal reader right here.This is the first time I have ever read a book by this author but I have to read everything by here.This book was so good.I wasn't expecting the Lies and Betrayal that came out.Wow Masika is the most trifling female I know.How do you lie about something like that for two years???Then Blaze was crazy to keep her around and then her sister was crazy as idk.Blaze pissed me off messing with her again.I love me some Anika she is s true definition of a women.Im mad at how Jamal did her and then Blaze came along and treated her wonderful then he did that stupid crap.I hope Blaze fixes things with Anika,I hope Masika and her baby daddy gets wats coming to them.Wow that ending wasn't expected how you betray your friend.

All five stars…
This book was so good from the very beginning. Masika deserve everything she got coming to her. Desiree is a looney tone for real, she’s so thirsty for Blaze she crossed her own sister even tho the truth needed to come out. Anika in the beginning I didn’t like her because she was sleeping with her boss knowing he was married. Her telling Blaze the truth about them made me like her. I feel bad because she was finally over Jamal and things between her Blaze seemed to be looking up until he started acting like a fuck boy sticking duck to both of the sisters. This ending smh I wasn’t expecting it to go down the way it did but here we are. Now we just need to see how he deals with his right hand because he has definitely got himself into a sticky situation.

Anika is a really good girl. She seems to pick the wrong man. Malik needs to get his priorities straight. Masika needs to be ashamed of herself how can you hide your own child. Desiree is just plain sick.

Honestly
I'm giving 2 stars for accomplishing to finish a book and actually have multiple parts to follow behind it, but for the life in me I couldn't make it past 16%. I don't even understand what I read....it was just that bad for me...

I really liked Blaze and Anika. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters..I just want Anika to be happy. She deserves that. I like Sadie and Anika's friendship. This was my 1st time reading this author. I will read the next book.
