“All my life I’d always known what the Gentry boys were. A set of fraternal triplets born to a depraved family, they were rough, sexy and wild as wolves..."

DRAW
They called us ‘those white trash Gentry boys’ until we believed that’s what we were. Our people squatted at the edge of a hellhole prison town for generations. The childhood we endured was the stuff of nightmares. I’d learned early on that my brothers, Chase and Creed, were the only people on earth worth my time.
They all told us we were bad, that we’d always be bad.
The horrors of the past have scarred my soul.
But now I need to be better.
For her.

RISK
Violence had always found us Gentrys but this time I’d put the price on my own head. It was my cross to bear. No flinching allowed.
There was only room for me, my brothers, and the resolve to survive. That’s all there ever had been.
There was certainly no reason for more than than a quick and dirty time with any female, no matter how much this sassy southern girl with a killer body turned my head around.
I shouldn’t hold on to Truly Lee for more than a few hours. I shouldn’t even think about it. This thing could finish us both.
It doesn’t matter. She’s all I want.

GAME
Gentry men aren’t supposed to be very bright. We’re big. We’re brutal. Women can’t wait to invite us inside. I know I can have any one of them I want any time I want.
It seems unlikely that some bad-tempered chick and her snotty attitude would keep my interest but here it is. Stephanie has no idea what she does to me. I want that girl in more ways than I can even talk about.
It should have been enough to have her and be done with it. But no matter how volatile we are together, it’s never enough.
To hell with anyone who objects. I’m not letting her go.

FALL
How many women have I ruined?
Hell if there’s any point in counting. Only once did I ever do something unforgivable and the consequence crushed my soul. Maybe that’s why I remain here, in the barren desert wasteland occupied by the worst of my degenerate family.
This is a prison I’ve inflicted on myself.
Into my purgatory walks Jenny; feisty, beautiful, not much more than a girl herself.
No one decent should want a thing to do with me.
I told her that.
She didn’t listen.

4.5 stars. I liked each story about triplets who come from tough start to life. They are fiercely loyal, love each other, but are young, guys who live life large and make mistakes. Each book has one brother finding his h. It was sweet with enough angst to keep my interest.

DRAW (Gentry Boys#1) (Kindle Edition)
Saylor and start off the Gentry series with quite the second chance bang! Say has been a punching bag for too long. She finally has had enough and has kicked her lying abusive of a boyfriend to the curb and is headed to freedom. But freedom is going to lead her back into the path of the boy that tricked her out of her virginity to win a bet and then bragged about it to everyone in town. So things are not looking all that great for the weary traveler. But Cord swears he's not the same boy that played that dirty trick on her years ago and he's really wants to make amends. Cord wants nothing more than to shake the Gentry stigma. The name stands for bad blood. Him and his brothers have been running from it for years and have finally made some headway, but when Saylor walks back in the door, he feels like the class a jerk that once upon a time did a bad bad thing. He'd give anything for another shot. But habits are hard to break but love it worth the work.

RISK (Gentry Boys#2) (Kindle Edition)
Truly and Creed make you believe in redemption and hope in the second Gentry tale. Truly wasn't looking for anything in particular when her friend Saylor twisted her arm into coming out for a night on the town, especially not falling head long into a the arms of Creed Gentry. She had taken a hiatus from men and was trying to be just be for a while, but the sexy mysterious Creed was a wrench to the a carefully laid plan. Creed has a debt to pay and it has been looming over his head. To help him forget for a night he decides to get lost in the amazing Truly for a night, but what he wasn't counting on was the unexpected connection with the Southern beauty. But the axe is over his head and his days could literally be numbered. Why life would grant him a special woman just when it was taking everything else away seems like Gentry luck par for the course.

GAME (Gentry Boys #3) (Kindle Edition)
Chase and Stephanie are the perfect cap the Gentry brothers stories. Stephanie has a tough as nails exterior that she wields to hide very dark and painful secrets that haunt her. Her jersey girl ways served her well but they also led to her down fall and now she is dealing with the consequences. When Chase Gentry starts to show interest in her and lays on his playboy charm she is leery and gives him her best "forget about it" brush off. But Chase will not be easily deterred. Chase has always been seen as the goodtime boy with smarts looks and charm to back up his playboy ways. Coming off his brief but hard time with addiction he is jumping back into trying to get back to fun loving Chase mode. When he see the challenge Stephanie represents he cannot resist. But it's soon clear that the pair are more alike than meets the eye and it's obvious to them this is the real deal. Now they just have to learn how to fall without failing.

FALL (Gentry Boys #4) (Kindle Edition)
Jenny and Declan will make you believe in redemption and hope and love and all that entails with this Gentry tale. Jenny (introduced in the Defiant MC series) has had a been adjusting to life outside our Jericho Valley and the indoctrination she suffered at their hands. It's hasn't been easy, what she went through cannot be undone or unseen and it haunts her but she is trying... or at least she is faking it till she makes it. Her quite strength and beauty catches the eye of the elusive Declan Gentry, but her young age and innocent aura has the man acting less like his reputation and more like a saint. Declan is not know for his upstanding morals. In Emblem the name Gentry is not a surname associated with the title of gentleman but something about Jenny has him acting completely out of character. He is drawn the the girl like a moth to a flame and finds that her past and present make him want to see where the future may lead. But for a man so haunted by demons and plagued by a reputation can he really taint such an angel?

I'm really on the fence with this book. I thought the author did better writing from the boys point of view then the girls. I was able to over look all the spelling and editing errors because I liked Cords story. Creeds story was pretty good to. However the author lost me with Chase's story. I did not finish Chase's story. A good 1/2 of his story (what I read which was about 1/2 of his story) wasn't necessary and the more I read the more I just got bored. I felt like the author was just grasping to make this book as long as possible, as a single book it would have been about 350 pages or so. I think if this story was short I could have held out but I couldn't take it any more, so drawn out repeating the same thing I had already heard a 1000 times already.

I didn't even start Deck's story. For now I am shelfing this book. It is a DNF at 68%. I may come back and read the rest of Chase's story and Deck's story but I'm not sure.

4 books in 1: 3.5*.

This box set is all written in the first person's pov and each book represents a couple. The ugly earlier lives of the Gentry triplets, Cordero, Creedence and Chasyn, and their older cousin, Declan are mixed with the present and their loves. Good storylines, crude language, dirty sex, touching subjects, insta-lust/love, college age romance, typos but definitely worth a read. 3.5*.

The stories revolve around the Triplets (Cord, Creed and Chase Gentry) and their older cousin (Deck Gentry) who used to live in a town named Emblem. The Triplets were physically abused by their father when they were kids. They escaped that place when they turned 18.

The books have each character's story from their past that will make the reader's heart clench.

Each book tells the story of the Gentry brothers and how they found love with their respective challenges.

The writer @corabrentauthor portrays each character in the books artfully.

Those who love to read romance novels will love the books.

Sexy yet sweet what's not to like

I bought book one in this series and read separately before buying this bundle. What can I say I like a bargain.

I just read books 1-4 of this series in one day and look forward to reading book 5 which I have already purchased.

Ms. Brent has a formulae and she sticks to it yet each of the stories has its own flavour. I enjoy a series that is intertwined and this does it well. The timeline didn't deviate.

I for one love a bad boy and the Gentry boys all have good hearts so much so at times the storyline was totally sweet.

Easy reading with sexy alpha males who are dedicated to their women. I couldn't think of a better way to spend a relaxing Sunday.

These boys know hell like no others. An abusive and violent father saw to that. A mother who was lost to her next fix and did nothing to stop what was happening. It's finally leaving it all behind them to start new and wash away the filth that was there hometown.

Cord and Saylor's past is messy. A bet and a rumor spread after it pretty much was the start of their relationship. It's years later that they meet again. Both have changed. Saylor has come back home after fleeing an abusive relationship it's here she runs into Cord again. He's sorry for the past it can't be changed but he's not proud of what happened. When he steps in to help Saylor out it's here their tentative truce starts to build. A HEA is guaranteed sure, but for me I don't know.

Creedance and Truly are the next couple. He is battling his own demons he's the quieter of the three brothers. When Chase is hurt, Creed makes a deal with the devil to track down who did this to Chase. His first for vengence is strong and it's only his brother Cord stepping in to stop him from making a mistake that could tear their family apart. Meeting Truly has opened his eyes to what could be possible. He's watched his brother fall in love so maybe there is a chance for him also. But regardless when you make a deal you have to pay up one way or another.

Chase is the outgoing brother, he says what he thinks. Spotting Stephanie is his class he's drawn to her. She's not like the other girls on campus who throw themselves at him. She tells him like it is. She does not take his shit. But she is also running from something. When push comes to shove these two need each other.

Declan I enjoyed his appearance's in the first three books and I was hoping there was more for him. His story is one of sorrow. A former solider he's back home to Emblem. The only place he's ever called home. Meeting Jennetta she reminds him of his past. She's young, and in a world of trouble when he rescues her. Both have experienced pain in their lives

I don't know what it is about this series, but I couldn't engage with the characters. I loved the idea of the story line but that was it. I finished these first four and I am not sure I will read the rest.

More or less the same story told four different ways

I can appreciate the author's effort to give the characters different personalities (i.e. Cord the level-headed leader and Chase the wisecracker) but she missed the mark, especially in the sex scenes. Regardless of who was telling the story, once the characters knew they wanted to be in a committed relationship, the man always said something to the effect of "Be sure, because if we do this, there is no turning back." And the women always talked about how, in the middle of the night, it didn't take much time before their boyfriends wanted to ravage them again.
Chase and Stephanie's story was my favorite because Chase was my favorite character. Cord and Saylor's story was my least favorite because *SPOILER ALERT* the series starts off with her escaping a physically and sexually abusive relationship. Instead of taking time by herself to heal, she immediately jumps into a relationship with Cord, someone else who had taken advantage of her in the past, and gets pregnant. I can't speak on Creed's and Truly's story or Declan's and Jenny's because their personalities get lost in the sauce.

5 books, overall 3.5 stars
I'm somewhat on the fence, it was much better than most of the books I read and rate with 3-stars but not quite worthy of 4 stars. All written in the first person's POV, each book represents one of the Gentry triplets Cordero, Creedence and Chasyn, and their older cousin, Declan finding love. Throughout the stories are glimpses that reveal the triplets and cousin Declan's ugly earlier years. As each one finds love, they must confront their childhood issues. The women that come into lives are also damaged by their past, and each couple must learn to deal with their own baggage before they can have their HEA. Good story-lines, a bit slow in spots with lots and lots of typos. A college-age romance series it touches on sensitive topics of abuse, addiction but is definitely worth reading. Overall, my favorite thing about these stories was the author's poignant spot-on quotes.

Fantastic series!!

If you've never read this series you are missing out. These Gentry Boys stole my heart a couple of years ago and I've never recovered.
Do yourself a favour and start these books today you won't be sorry.
These books are fun flirty and damn well dirty and I absolutely love them all.
Addictive reading from start to finish. I can't decide who I love the most but Chase holds a special place in my heart.
The bonds these triplets have is unbreakable and they love with everything they have and will do anything for the ones they love.

Brilliant books that'll stay with you. 💗

These boys had a hard life. These stories show how they are finally beginning to grow, emotionally speaking, into men. I liked all of the couple parings. The boys each found their perfect match and that was nice to see. It was also nice that the characters were not flat and that they developed as the stories continued. Most of them have had difficult pasts and Cora Brent did a good job of keeping the story grounded in the present but showing us glimpses of the past. We were able to look at enough events from the past to feel connected to the characters but not so much that they were just recounting past events all the time.

OH THOSE GENTRY BOYS

5 🌟 Draw - Cord and his triplet brothers grew up with no love, brutality and violence. I loved them all. They all could fight but each had a hidden talent. Cord could draw and after getting with Saylor, heading in Ink as an occupation. So good
4 🌟 Risk - Creed the stoic, strong brother falls hard for Truly. Facing a past obligation, he wasn't sure he would live through, finally becomes successful with his talents.
4 🌟 Game - Chase falls for Stephanie a tough, no nonsense girl on the outside but a soft spot for Chase.
5 🌟 FALL - DECK is my favorite

Gentry Boys

Cord
Interesting start to this series. Seeing the struggles of Saylor, coupled with the background of the boys, provides. Insight into reasoning for actions. Pretty well written and a good lead into the others in this series.

Creed
Getting to know these two has been enlightening. The author allows us further explanation to how they arrived at their places in life,as well as seeing the development they trudge through.

Cords story book 1. It was ok, just couldn't keep my attention. It started off slow to begin with and I was hoping it would progress so I hung on, but it just didn't do it for me. Loved the Gentry boys and felt they were given a hard life from the get go which wasn't fair as they didn't chose that life, but they made it through hanging onto one another and the fact that Cord found a girl who saw him for himself he got lucky.

Well, huh. These are not completely happy love stories. All of the characters & leads are pretty messed up in the head and I wasn't expecting all the heroines to have gone thru some sort of abuse. I honestly struggled to finish all the books. But now that I have I'll probably continue on, but I need a big break. The stories were dark & yet full of redemption. So if you like those kinds of stories you might like this. Regardless it was well written.

This was the first book I read from Cora. I enjoyed this set of books. For me, it took a little bit for me to get into them. I felt like sometimes they were slow going but once I got into it, they were pretty well written. I loved the brothers and how they each handled life their way to finding happiness for themselves. Some of the female characters I could have done without, but the story of the brothers makes it easier to read. Great set nonetheless.

Good set of books. I liked the triplets and their cousin Declan. I think my favourite of all the books was Creed's even though it did get quite gut wrenching at a point.
I think the pairings made sense and the girls were good fun and challenged their partners well.
I did feel like there were quite a few things that happened to the girls where there was not visible backlash on the people who 'hurt' them which i found frustrating as this happened in almost all the books.

Where are these Gentry Boys?

At first I was skeptical about these books, thinking they were going to be fluffy sex novels. Boy was I wrong. I fell in love with the Gentry boys, each one. The intensity of the characters had me captivated as each book finished. I fell harder and harder, loving ALL the characters. The insight, intensity and downright sexiness of these characters were impeccable.

Triple Threat

And a cousin too! I love these boys. Tough guys with good hearts and an appetite for the women they love. These guys had such hard mornings and still managed to come out as good men. Not unscathed but over-came the torment of their youth. I recommend this series to just about anyone. All around good read.

I couldn't put this series down until the last page of the last book was read. I loved each and every Gentry boy. I think Creed was my favorite. He was a quiet man of few words. He had much anger deep inside but he was honorable. He kept his word, even when his prospects looked very bad. I won't say more and give away spoilers. Just read these books!

A heartfelt read

You will fall in love with the Gentry boys in the first few pages that will keep you interested and leave you wanting more. The story gives you background into their shitty upbringing with an alcoholic father and a drug addict for a mother. All the girls they meet and fall in love with will want you wanting a Gentry man of your own. Five star read.
