Her Royal Highness Princess Anneliese de Cotriaro is trying to find her place in the world—and in the kingdom of San Petro, a small paradise off the coast of Central America. She believes there is more to her life than simply being “the spare” to the crown’s heir and having her every move followed by paparazzi after a broken engagement. Because Port Provident, Texas, is a sister city to San Petro’s capital city of Rosada, when Princess Anneliese sees the images of destruction from Hurricane Hope in the news, she knows this is the opportunity she’s been praying for to show she’s a woman of substance.

Matt McGregor is used to disasters. Working with Helping Hands Homes, he’s returned to his hometown after the hurricane with an ambitious goal to renovate 100 damaged homes by Christmas. When the national office tells him they’ve been able to score a PR opportunity with the visiting princess of San Petro to work on one of the houses and help raise the funds they’ll need to achieve their goals, Matt sees imminent disaster. Building a house is hard work and he needs committed volunteers—not a prissy princess who is sure to be afraid to get her hands dirty.

Can a princess in search of a mission make a difference in the world of a blue-collar man who can’t afford distractions to his work—or will they realize there are some bonds that can’t be repaired?

USA Today Bestselling Author Kristen Ethridge loves watching waves at the beach, eating the perfect taco, and reading books that leave her with a smile. Some would say her superpower is keeping alive one husband, three children, and six guinea pigs during their adventures across Texas--but that's not entirely true. She actually earned her sparkly cape for writing her signature style of Sweet Escape Romances--stories with hope, heart and happily-ever-after--for Harlequin's Love Inspired line, Hallmark Publishing, and Laurel Lock Publishing. One reader (who wasn't her mother) called Kristen's books "very good escape fiction" and that's pretty much the nicest thing anyone's ever said to her.

Another outstanding novel by Kristen Ethridge! Annaliese is a Princess from a small Caribbean island. The capital city of her island is a sister city to Port Provident, Texas. When she hears about Hurricane Hope reeking devastation on Port Provident, she is moved to do something to help. She decides to travel to Port Provident to offer her assistance. Matt is Director of Helping Hand Home’s Southern region. When he learns a Princess has been assigned to him for her stay in Port Provident, he is far from pleased-he has work to accomplish, he doesn’t have time to babysit a pampered woman. He soon realizes there is more to this Princess than what meets the eye.

Kristen has a marvelous talent for bringing her characters to life! I always feel as though I form a personal relationship with the characters when reading her books. Annaliese and Matt were no exception. She also is very good about bringing out the best in both her characters and the situations they face. As always, I was left with a positive and refreshed attitude during and after reading this novel. Her books are also squeaky clean, which I value highIy. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good clean romance.

This is the third book in the Hurricane Hope series. This book is a stand alone novel, but you wouldn’t want to miss the others in the series. They are all exceptional.

When I started this book little did I know it was going to be the best in the series.
This one belongs to Princess Anneliese (a princess of a small Caribbean country) and Matt McGregor, who works with Helping Hands Homes. He goes to Port Province, his hometown, to help rebuild the town after a disastrous hurricane. She goes to Port Providence since it’s the sister city of her country. Little did either know that their lives would change forever. Anneliese learns to speak up for herself , discovers the generosity of people and the spirit of a town that is willing to re-build and not give up. He discovers that the “princess” is a strong young woman that starts taking a piece of his heart.
But each has obligations. Will their friendship only be a memory, or can they have a future?
In addition to an engaging plot and likable characters, the author reminds us to have faith in God and in ourselves.
A great ending for a well written series.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

His Own Princess

Anneliese, Princess of San Pedro, had to find a place of refuge. After a broken engagement, her heart was hurt. Her brother treated her like a naughty child rather than a well educated, refined woman who loves her country. Plus she wants desperately to help the citizens of her country . Aww yes, she will visit Port Provident, their sister city to try to help all she can with recovery from Hurricane Hope. But she hadn't counted on falling in love while there. Although Matt is the head of Helping Hands he doesn't expect to be saddled with a beautiful princess from some exotic island country. He is not a happy boss! However, Matt soon learns that Annie is much more than simply lovely to look at, but she seriously desires to work to make a difference. The more time they spend together, the more the sparks fly. But to what purpose? She will have to go home soon and Matt will be alone again. Or does God have a better plan for them?

Port Providence maybe a small town, and providence was for them to meet. The friendly people, of the town, and Matt has come, to help rebuild after the hurricane. Anneliese is wanting to find her place, instead of just having everything, and everyone wanting to know what was going in her life. She comes to this little town, and finding herself, with helping others. There friendliness ,as a person, changed how she looked at herself. That she could have her own choices, and have a say in them. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

His Texas Princess was a sweet story about Princess Anneliese from San Petro, who went to Texas to help their country's sister city of Port Provident. I liked that this book was all about friendship, community, speaking up, and the Helping Hands Homes group which rebuilds homes after hurricanes and other events.

I enjoyed how Matt and his Annie worked together and she changed his beliefs about her. It was also interesting to learn about her life in San Petro. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

His Texas Princess was a sweet inspirational story of people from different walks of life, but with the same giving spirit and heart.

I enjoyed reading about the humanitarian efforts of both characters and was pleased with how the story progressed. The story was exciting and at times surprising. A well-written princess and pauper story but with a nice twist.

I received a copy from the author and voluntarily choose to review it.

Hurricane Hope does major destruction to Port Provident and all volunteers are needed to help with a goal of 100 houses rebuilt by Christmas.
Anneliese shows up for work on the house, but when she meets her ‘boss’ things turn south! Just how much work can a spoiled-never-done-anything-in-her-life girl do to help with this project? Just you wait and see how things turn out.
Great series of how things can change in a major way.
Good job.

Matt is dismayed to learn he is going to have Princess Anneliese working with him when she shows up to help with the rebuilding effort in Port Providence, Texas. He has 100 homes to build before Christmas and no time to babysit. Annie surprises him in more than one way! This is an enjoyable love story but also shares a message about living out your life with authenticity no matter what others may expect of you. Highly recommend!

Princess Annaliese of San Petro is not what Matt McGregor expected. She certainly had never dealt with anyone like Matt. She just wants to be able to help her country should a disaster strike. Kristen Ethridge lets their story slowly grow. I loved this story because I do understand the importance of help in rebuilding after a hurricane. Treat yourself to this story.

His Texas Princess is the sweetest, most heartwarming romance I have read recently. I was so sad to read the end. I adore "Annie" and Matt. They captured my heart. I just kept reading and suddenly it was 5 am! I do not want to restate the blurb or give anything away. Let me just say that this well written book really stuck a chord with me. I would give it eleven stars if I could!

I lived the book I just finishedit.
I loved how Matt and Annie work together for the same goals for different reasons. Hers is for her country and his is to help others who need it.

Sweet!

The story of Matt and Annie is likened to a Cinderella story, but Annie was already a princess. She just needed to find her Prince Charming and she certainly did find him in Matt!

Princess Annaliese just wants more to life than being second place to the throne. An inspirational story that makes you happy to read it.

The Port Provident: Hurricane Hope series gets better with each book! With well-developed, believable characters; a well-constructed, absorbing plot; heart-warming romance; and encouraging faith message, this third installment in the series is my favorite so far. This uplifting story of self-discovery, making a difference, new beginnings, and finding hope and love, is totally enjoyable and made me smile. Princess Anneliese (Annie) is one of the most delightful, endearing characters you would ever want to meet. The historical thread is interesting and informative. Although part of a series, this book works beautifully as a stand-alone. If you are looking for a light, entertaining, inspiring read that will touch your heart, this book is for you!

I received a complimentary copy of this book but am under no obligation to write a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thought provoking

An amazing story of two hearts from different 'worlds' united in seeking to make a difference in people's lives, to meet needs. An 'impossible' situation that becomes possible. I love it when people with a giving and serving heart are blessed. This story is all about that. Really enjoy the added photos of the historical places included at the end.

Great series! Very inspirational! To show the mixture between the privilege and a "commoner" and it working out.....just great. Can't wait to read more.
