So, I got hooked by most of the stories from the very beginning, but they are so short. I was presented to these interesting worlds and characters and then the stories ended so fast. But I'm not sure I should complain about that since it's a short stories book.

Ah, I think some commas are missing (I don't know much about comma usage in English tough).
These are very short stories. I gave this new author 4 stars because unlike some, this one has actually taken the time to edit. That being said, these are easy fast read stories, maybe you've got "readers block", a quick easy read like this may help. These stories read like a day in the life of your average person, and you hit the twist, it maybe aliens or a visits from the devils salesman. So if you looking for a palette cleaners or just a quick read, this book would work.
