Doppelgangers

Rate this book
Somewhere along the way, Pastor Richard Stark's position devolved from a divine calling into a dreary job. An avid fisherman, he longs for nothing more than escaping to serene lakes in the quiet countryside. A chance discovery yields a holographic answer to the age-old how can you be in two places at once? A short story in the tradition of The Twilight Zone. Reader "I thought Doppelganger was marvelous, tragic and beautiful." - David W. "It seemed to get better and better. The last 2 paragraphs of the story were brilliant!! As I was reading through part 2, I was vaguely reminded of the style of Isaac Asimov." - Donna "Wow. This story really grabbed me. I never would have guessed the ending and I was pleasingly surprised. Very enjoyable!" - Deanna "The story was simply wonderful. I thought Richard Stark was a well-defined, real character, and the plot was absorbing and interesting... I was prepared to scream in frustration at an inevitably obvious ending. Happily, this wasn't the case." - Lynda

Not bad for a novella

Two thumbs up for the unexpected ending. Take an hour and enjoy this gem. Then pass it on. Looking forward to more.
