Lilly Christine has authored ten titles in the McGreers Series with "Too Fast For Love" McGreers #10, currently in the "Cupid's Caribbean Cruise" Box Set. Awarded Librarian's Readers' Choice Best Western 2016, #8 My Kinda Bull released October. In 2016, Lilly also became an Amazon Bestselling Author, with "Last Chance, Cowboy" McGreers #7, included in the Cowboy Country anthology, which hit #2 in both anthologies and westerns. Lilly's "Crazy on Daisy", McGreers #2, is currently included in "More Cowboy Country" Box Set, still a Top Ten Western!

Lilly's new urban holiday romantic comedy is "New Year, Baby" Philadelphia LOVE #1. 3 more Philadelphia LOVE holiday novellas will be released in 2017. "Valentine, Baby" in Feb, "Sing It, Baby!" in March, and "Independence, Baby?" in May.

"Crashing Into Tess", Lilly's debut novel, garnished the prestigious Toronto Romance Writer's "Catherine" Award, and is a 2014 GDRW Bookseller's Best Finalist. Other titles in the McGreers series include Crazy On Daisy ( #2) Right Kinda Bull (#3) Designs on Daphne (#4) and Loving Lulu (#5) Whole Lotta Bull (#6), McGreers Special Edition Candi for Christmas, Last Chance, Cowboy (#7) and My Kinda Bull (#8)

About those McGreer's...hard-working boys endeavoring to deserve the women they crave, my lifelong fascination with the American West is media and travel driven. As a six year old, I regularly tuned into "Big Valley" for a dose of Barbara Stanwyck's tough, outspoken "Virginia Barclay". Heck, how did she get those big, strapping boys to behave?? Second grade riding lessons on a paint pony Beauregard and Johnny and Jane West's paperboard ranch provide the setting for all of my cowgirl fantasies, competently executed via heroines Tess, Daisy, Daphne, Luanne, Janie and Lindsay.....

This Christmas edition of the McGreer's series is a must read. Shane McGreer (Ty's younger brother/Jake's cousin) is one of the top snowboarders in the world. With just a semester to complete in college, Candi Bamberger (Tess' cousin) has just received an internship as an athlete rep at SnowSlammer Games being held in Colorado. Candi runs into Shane at the airport both en route to the games. There is a very strong physical attraction between the two. Shane has never had family attend his competitions and now he has Tess, Jake, Cassie and Candi there to watch him compete. Will Shane let his relationship insecurities keep him from acting on this attraction? Will Candi act on her feelings and risk her internship and the possibilities of getting her dream job upon graduation not to mention letting her dad down? This is a quick and easy read where emotions run high and conflict keeps you on the edge of your seat.

This Book is about the love of snowboarding and Competitions on the slopes and of the heart. Lilly Christine puts it down on paper so you can experience the fates of Shane and Candi. Ride their ups and downs. On the slopes and in their hearts. Continuing the McGreer Saga. I recommend this book. As I have enjoyed reading it, so shall you too. Enjoy being taken for a ride down the slopes and into Shane And Candy's story. I know I did.

Candi Bamberger nabs a great internship helping a snowboard team at a competition over Christmas break. She runs into Shane McGreer, a hotshot boarder who Candi has had a crush on for years. Oh, and her cousin is married to someone in his family (can't really remember the relationship.) The two fall for each other, but then there are problems. I didn't really enjoy this book. First of all there were continuity issues, and then the MC's were just too juvenile, there was head hopping within each chapter and just too much back and forth.

This book was okay. From the beginning, I felt like I was reading a love story written by a teenaged girl. That's probably because it was sometimes told from the POV of Candi and sometimes from the POV of Shane. However, it was always told in the third-person. It was never confusing, and grammar and spelling were just fine.

The story itself was pretty good. I especially enjoyed the descriptions of the snowboarding stunts, which is odd because I don't know much about it. The author did a great job of creating a visual for me. She is a good story-teller. I liked the characters well enough. There was just something very rainbow and sunshine and unicorns about this book, and ultimately, that is what keeps me from giving it a hider rating.

This is McGreers #7 Special Edition
It is the story of Candace and Shane.
Candace is an intern. She flies out to Beaver Colorado to check out the action of the Snow Slammer Games.
Shane is a snowboarding star. He is hoping Candi will consider the hot action he has in mind. He shows her his awesome moves and not just on the course.
Shane falls head over heals for Candi but he shuts her out. Can he warm her in time for a Christmas at the McGreer Ranch??
I love all the McGreers series books, and this one is no exception. I like how I was able to experience the couples ups & downs, and their sweet ending.

Not my cuppa. I'd give it 2.75 stars.

Too many overly-long detailed sentences for my taste and too much info dumping. Predictable. I knew exactly what would happen as soon as she mentioned hitting the ladies room. I knew what would happen as soon as he thought tree riding was tricky and I knew what would be in Jake's stocking. The characters bugged me and so did the little editing errors.

This is for readers who like extremely descriptive paragraphs about the scenery, characters clothing, food, job descriptions, traveling routes, weather and back story. Also those that like snowboarding, brand awareness and like the words Super, ride, Yukon, Method.

Awesome Series

Very hard to put down once you begin the series. This series allows you to forget about your own problems for a while and immerse yourself in a wonderful family.

Very good story. Keeps you reading to see what will happen next. Tension is heavy, but the interactions are good.

A Christmas Western romance that will lasso your heart & reel it in. These characters will win you over & put you in the holiday spirit. Delightful yet emotional read that’s very well-written.
