Every parent's nightmare!
This plot is what every parent dreads. Not only to have a missing child but to have the police, the very people you want helping you, believing that you are responsible.
She was only absent for a few minutes and had left her son with her bakery assistant but he has disappeared. Worse the police say they have no suspects - just her! That night when she and her friends get drunk a local detective makes sure they all get home safely. He seems to believe her and together they go to question the assistant. Will they find out anything new? Will it lead them to her son? Should they have gotten backup? Will they survive when they realise who is the kidnapper?

Another interesting cozy mystery, quick read, interesting story line and characters. Looking forward to the next book.

Attention Grabbing!!!
Tom Soule has captured the feelings of loss,, guilt, hopelessness of the mother of the abducted child perfectly in this all too short novella. I hope this is the teaser for an on-going series.
