Taken by Lies
Rylie has felt unwanted and unloved her entire life. Her step-dad has a control on her life to the point of dooming her friendships and relationships if he pleases. She met her Best-friend Skylar through her sister Sadie. The three of them are inseparable. The friendship leads Riley into a crush on Skylar's brother Kid. He's a male whore and loves to clown around. He has the tendency to make her tongue tied when he's around. She knows it will never go beyond her crush, Kid is pursued and wanted by every woman who meets him. She will have to live with this crush.
Kid has noticed Riley, but doesn't want a woman of his own. He leaves her alone knowing she is a relationship type woman. He will be her friend and try not to let her down. He is protective of his family and his club. The Rage Ryderz MC has been in his blood since birth. His father is one of the founders along with his best friend Ryder's dad. He would lay his life down for any of them.
This story isn't a perfect love story. It is about the journey of three MC members and the journey they are forced to travel while keeping their women alive and safe. Rylie and Sadie's life turns everyone's world upside down when secrets are revealed. Right when you think a Happily ever after is on it's way, there is always someone there to throw more hidden secrets in your path.
Can the Rage Ryderz keep their women safe or will their enemies succeed in the end. This will be part of a series, the secrets never die just because the book ends. This book will carry into book two where more answers are revealed and the Rage Ryderz learn what war really means.

Eu comprei os livros LIES e RAGE em 29 de janeiro e fui deixando de lado e colocando outros na frente na minha lista de leitura.
Finalmente resolvi iniciar a leitura e não me arrependi.
Gostei muito da história com muita ação ocorrendo e drama com vários casais e mais uma conspiração para acabar com a família de um membros do clube.
A história me manteve interessada até o final que termina em cliffhanger, mas como já comprei o próximo já vou iniciar a leitura.
Recomendo para aqueles que curtem uma boa história de moto clube.

OK so I tried, really I did, but I have to admit this book is a DNF for me. The plot was very predictable and the characters poorly written, but the thing that made me put this book down was the grammar. If you are going to hit that publish button, for the love of God, PLEASE, at least, AT LEAST, run a spell check. Additionally did you not bother reading your own book? I mean if I saw Justin aka Justin one more time I was gonna scream. Not to mention, rosin for ruin. This book was very immature, poorly written, and badly in need of an editor.

Good start to what is sure to be a great series. Nice storyline with strong supporting characters. Nice to see a softer more passive side to the leading males. Easily held my attention and entertaining.
I placed a 4 star due to some smoothness and editing issues. If your looking for a new MC, this debut release can start a new journey for you. Filled with excitement. Lots of twists and turns. AndreaGAH. ( ARC)

This is the first book I have read from this author. I have to say that I had some issues with this book. The grammar was off the charts. I felt while reading this I was reading statements made instead of a story at times. The characters were undeveloped, and very wishy washy. They would make a statement one second and then next sentence they had already changed their mind on what they had just said.
There was one instance when you have 3 couples going at for the night. Only one of the couples are actually dating. While at a restaurant, Kid who wants Riley, notices a girl across the room. He is horny for Riley and need to take the edge off, so he goes the restroom and has sex with the random girl. Of course Riley catches him and leaves. It's okay though the next day Kid decides he wants to try a relationship with her and she agrees since she has been in love with him forever!!! Seriously??? Did you instantly forget what he had done the night before?
This book is just really strange and very juvenile writing.

Omg I was very honored to read this for a Good friend of mine and let me tell you all that I am a mc fanatic but this book blew me away with all the secrets and danger but most of the love of family one-man who never gave up on his missing wife and daughter .This book is about three best friends dating three mc members and the struggle they go through and the dangerous attacks against the club. To have to say I am still reeling in with book hangover .Riley and Sadie are sisters and skylar is their best friend . Riley has been secretly wanting sky'brother kid .Sadie and Skylar date 2 other members of the club but when it all seems like everything is going good there lives will be turned up side down.
This book has you wanting more and keeps you hooked on it..Congratulations Liberty I love this book! Still blown away

I thought this book was a great read. Liberty sets this book around multiple couples that I fell in love with. I loved all the characters along with the storyline. The MC is not your typical one and that makes it nice to get something different. The guys loved their women so when stuff happens they seek out to get revenge. Great Job Liberty I'll be waiting for the next one.

Way too much jumping around
I wanted to like this book and was interested in the story line but it jumped around so much!! I am not a fan of books who go through 5-6 people’s point of view. In my opinion, this book could have been great if it focused on 2 people’s whole story and then went to a different couple’s point of view in a different story.

This is so much more than an MC romance. Parker has written a story with an intricate web of lies, and betrayal. This story is only book 1 so leaving so many questions unanswered is understandable. I did get enough of the story and partial answers to want to know more. Be ready for a cliffhanger ending that leaves you frustrated.

Kid & Riley, Tumbler & Sadie, Ryder & Skylar will take hold of your heartstrings and pull them along for a wild ride. Wasp & Ashton will steal your heart. These tough lovable bikers will take you on the ride of your life as they fight for their families.
In this read I was definitely taken by the lies, leaving me with an deniable desire for the truth. Riley and Sadie, two beautiful sisters emotionally and verbally abused by a man that should protect them above all else, their Dad. I found a mother, Elizabeth, so traumatized by the brutal abuse of her husband she almost failed to protect her children. The effect of their family violence follows them every where they go, seeping in to the love they find in their bikers arms. My mind screamed for them to get free, while my heart understood it is not always easy to escape.
The lies that became these girls truth threaten not only their life, but also the lives of everyone they love. With their enemies closing in to destroy their lives and loves the characters only grow stronger and more determined to protect those they love.
Each character was brought to life in vivid detail, allowing the reader to become emotionally involved with each one. My heart was enlightened to see these strong Biker Alpha Men open themselves up to their women, and force themselves out of their comfort zones to show their love and support of the women they love.
Twenty years of lies and deceit have formed a web of vengeance where the sins of the father are laid at the feet of two sons who are pitted against each other by forces beyond their control. Each brother trapped into believing there is no love between them. Two sisters (twins) used as pawns. Two sisters who forge a bond stronger than evil is able to break.
My favorite character is Kid. Kid is an Alpha Biker through and through. He has built walls around his heart, and is unsure of the strength of his own feelings. Because his parents have taught him the meaning of love and respect he steps out in blind faith to fight for the woman he loves.
I could see myself in Elizabeth the mother suffering the abuse of a husband to protect her daughters. I knew myself in both the daughters feeling the emotional and verbal abuse they suffered.
My favorite part of the book was when Kid was stunned by the overwhelming feelings of love for his woman.
I believe my least favorite part of the book was ending because it has left me impatient to continue my journey with these tremendous characters.
If I were to be able to change anything it would be to blend the story maybe from the third person and not have the point of view change with each character.
I will most definitely be recommending this book to my friends, and promoting it as much as possible.
This book is definitely for a mature reading audience. Liberty gives a warning in the very beginning urging those that have suffered any type of abuse that there could be triggers and areas of the book that might possibly put them in a bad state. Those that will enjoy this book the most are those of us who love to take a ride with a Biker.

Taken By Lies is not your ordinary mc romance, it is so much more.
In most mc romance books you have many supporting characters but you have the main alpha male and your sexy heroine. In Taken By Lies yup have so much more. The Rage Ryderz MC is a family in it's truest form. Their life's are entwined not only in mc business but in every aspect. They don't just talk the family life, they live it. Rage Ryderz's have a code and rules they live by.
Ryder and Skylar were raised in the MC together. Children of the vice-president and the president they have been close growing up. You would think this match would be a no brainer. When you are dealing with a high spirited female nothing is easy. This couple is hot.
Tumblr and Sadie have had an attraction for a year and hanging out for eight months. He wants so much more and she does too but can't seem to get pass the thoughts of what her dad would do. She just needs space from her controlling dad.
Kid and Riley have a strong attraction but neither have acted on it. He knows she is a relationship type of woman and he does not want that yet. She has so many insecurities that she just doesn't see how anything could happen between the two of them. She'll just have to deal with her crush.
Even with all the hot romance and sexual attractions going on in Taken By Lies there is still another story in this book. A story of a young family being torn apart and years of separation with lies and secrets. This book is the whole package. The MC plays a major role in this and has plenty of action. Which to me is very refreshing since the romance has a perfect balance with the action.
I would not be totally truthful if I did not also include that there is some editing issues. To me, I am not an editing stickler but if you are then there are some. In no way ,to me, did they interfere with the great storyline. One of the best storylines I have read.

It is hard to believe that this is a first novel for Liberty. It is absolutely wonderful! It has everything you want, hot MC guys, action, sex and a great story line.
Ryder, Kid and Trumble are in Rage Ryderz MC. Riley, Sadie and Skylar are their girls. This group have a strong bond of friendship and truly care for each other. This book is their stories.
If you are looking for a book that keeps you guessing, this is definitely for you. There are many twist and turns that will keep you on your toes. It is also emotional and will tug on your heart. I absolutely loved and can’t wait for the next book.

Debut book, for Liberty Parker and she has done a great job with keeping you engaged in a story surrounded by multiple characters, The storyline was great and she had me turning the page, it was a refreshing read that’s not your typical MC book. I enjoyed the suspense, and a bit of heartfelt emotion. This is a great story of friendships with bonds that only have gotten stronger over time. I look forward to see what comes next as Liberty is showing that she has what it takes to write a great book. I recommend you give this one a try.

I read Rebel Guardians MC series first and loved it I started Rage Ryders series with the same expectations but I just couldn't finish it The incorrect grammar and all the story lines mixed up ruined it for me I just wanted Kid and Riley's story. There is a series so that you can introduce each characters in different books and not confuse the readers. When the blurb of the book reads a love story about Kid and Riley then I only want to read abut those two with a little intro of other characters Do not read this book if you want it to make sense.

This is based around the Rage Riderz MC, they try to stay within the law unless somebody threatens one of their own. The book has lots of the different characters POV's so you get an insight into the different club members, family and friends.
The book is based on a massive lie that has an impact on a lot of people and stretches further than anyone of the people who have been effected by it realize.
The book ends on a cliff-hanger that is going to blow a family apart.

Great
I really enjoyed this book. There are so many different lives going on and things happening. This was her first book and some things can't always be controlled and I completely understands that as a reader. I'm really excited to see what the author does with the second part of this story.

Taken by Lies was a great read! I love MC books and the Rage Ryders series starter did not disappoint. Liberty Parker delivered! Reading this I really felt like I knew the main characters, Skylar, Ryder, Riley and Kid. I like that the story doesn’t immediately go to a ‘happily ever after’ storyline. The sex scenes were HOTT!! I can’t wait until book 2- Taken by Rage is released.

20% and DNF. This book is absolutely PAINFUL to read. The writing is horrible, punctuation is wrong or not there at all, and the dialogue is the worst I've read. I'm ALL about MC books and have read tons. I've never known any MC characters to speak in proper English (i.e. Does not, do not, I am, etc.). Just bad all around!

This book was a DNF. I downloaded a sample to see if I would be interested in buying the book. I couldn't even make it through the first 10% of the book. The grammar was horrid, the story was structured in a childlike manner, and it was very predictable. After reading some of the reviews, it appears I'm not the only one that was annoyed by the sentence structure or grammar.

Wasp had it all a lovely wife and a beautiful daughter, but unlike most members of the MC he requested that they be kept out of the main business of the club and for good reason because they were taken from him and he spent a lifetime looking for them. Meanwhile, his daughter grew up in a home where her stepfather hated her and she longed for escape, she found it in the arms of Kid her best friend's little brother. Everything was going along fine until the true identity and intentions of her stepfather were revealed then all Hell broke loose. There are two kinds of romance novels, one where the intercourse is part of the narrative and one where the sex is so intense that it overpowers the story and becomes a story in of itself. Not that there is anything wrong with the latter each type has its place in the romantic universe and are both good in their own way. If you are looking for hot sex with an interesting, suspenseful plot thrown in for good measure, then this book is for you if you are more into the subtle side of romance, then this one might be a bit heavy for your liking. The characters are well thought out and believable the sex is intense and the action while it takes a bit to get going is well with the wait and I look forward to continuing learning about these individuals.

Riley has only known abuse from her stepfather and that colors how she feels about men and relationships. Despite the wedge he tries to place between her and her sister Sadie the bond between them is unbreakable as well as their friend Skylar. She is very attracted to Kid however she feels that she will never be enough for him so she admires him from afar.
Kid likes women even if it is only for one night. His reputation as a womanizer is well earned and although he has feelings for her he knows that she needs more than one night and that is not something he is ready for so he keeps his distance.
They end up spending time together when her sister and best friend start dating two of his brothers. As a result they become close and she slowly sneaks past the walls he has built around his heart but when danger comes calling will he be able to keep her safe?
I loved these characters as Riley is feisty and is much stronger than she appears while Kid is loyal and protective. I look forward to learning more about Riley and Kid as well as the other members of the MC.
Kid likes women even if it is only for one night. His reputation as a womanizer is well earned and although he has feelings for her he knows that she needs more than one night and that is not something he is ready for so he keeps his distance.
They end up spending time together when her sister and best friend start dating two of his brothers. As a result they become close and she slowly sneaks past the walls he has built around his heart but when danger comes calling will he be able to keep her safe?

Wow......................Brilliant Book
I absolutely loved this book, it pulled me in straight away.
There is a lot happening within the story of this book, but you do not get lost or think to yourself have I missed something. Everything is done in away that you don't get lost.
Twists, turns and surprises happen through out the story of this book, but they all make the story a great, awesome read.
Emotions are rife within the story and what is happening with the characters is the story can be felt within the words of the book. I laughed, I cried, got mad, got frustrated and when through them all again, throughout the book.
This is my first book of the New Year and what a book to start with.
Liberty Parker truly is an amazing author, who knows how to hold your interest with in her books.
So worth the 5 stars I have given it and I highly recommend it, if you are an MC fan and have not read this series, you should give it a go as you will not be sorry.

This is the first book that I have had the pleasure to read by Liberty. I absolutely enjoyed reading this book. It was a well written MC story, but it was so much more then that. You meet three different girls in this book. One is the daughter of the MC the other are her friends. The two are sisters who learn the truth about their lives. But it is so much more then that. I absolutely loved how well the story flowed and the character chemistry. I enjoyed reading about all of these girls and the man who want to be involved with them. I believe that this is the great beginning to an amazing series. Liberty has gained a new fan with this book. I highly recommend and cannot wait to read more from these amazing characters.

So much happens! Fab book
Wow! U can almost not keep up so much happens! It’s like a book series in one book. Some bits seemed a bit rushed because of that tho IMO. This book gives you the story from so many different POV that it can take a little bit of time to get your head straight on who’s talking. So many names coming at you too which I personally find hard.
Having said all that I loved it. It was an original premis that i’ve not seen before at all. Which, as there’s so many books out there it’s hard to do that. So fab job.
I think the best way to know if you liked a book is to ask yourself if you’d read it again and I say ‘hell yeah’!

Why had I not read this book sooner? What an emotional, suspenseful, frustrating, and sometimes sappy ride I was taken on in this book. I could not put it down. This is the first book I have read of Liberty Parker and I have to say, I was not disappointed. WOW!!! This book is told by multiple POV's. I laughed, got a little choked up but totally loved this book. Enjoyed the family vibe I got from these MC men and women, their banter and they way they all were so protective of one another. Cannot wait to read more. I purchased the other books in this series and will not doubt devour each and every one of them. Ms. Parker you just got you a new fan.

I'm a little confused 4 most of it until toward the end it started making more sense. This family has been through hell. But it's twisted alot that 1 assholes stupidity get everything and everyone in trouble whether its strangers or people that know things. But 1 things 4 sure its a major jumble mess and its that is when they become stronger and fight 4 everything they in them 2 get their lives back 2 where they belong!! But what his bro did makes sum sense. But they should have found a way 2 ask 4 help if needed 2 instead of taking things upon themselves and making a he'll lot bigger mess than it should have been even if they were trying 2 do things with the best intentions at heart.
