Not the worst book ever but I could not get on board with the guy. So he kidnaps the girl. She is terrified and then he thinks it’s a good idea to scare her some more into liking him. “Hey, this girl is afraid of heights, let me fly her up into the sky and pretend to drop her. Yes, this will definitely get her to love me.” She is a pet to him. Just something to own and obey him. I’m not big into calling “bully” but he totally is. I haven’t found a redeeming quality in him yet. Hate his attitude so much I’m putting the book down.

Side note: I never pick up on typos but I was finding them all over the place. Get a real editor

This first book in Ms. Pheonix's Dream Seeking series is a fun read. I mean gargoyles, humans and a evil magic race plus flying, fighting and a mate bond what's not to like.
