Francine Paula Pascal was an American author best known for her Sweet Valley series of young adult novels. Sweet Valley High, the backbone of the collection, was made into a television series, which led to several spin-offs, including The Unicorn Club and Sweet Valley University. Although most of these books were published in the 1980s and 1990s, they remained so popular that several titles were re-released decades later.

i grew up on these reads ... remember going to the library ... the read library ... not Amazon ... walk in and knowing i needed book so n so ... but a lot of the time u had to read them out of order because the book u wanted was not there. such a letdown ...but so so glad i could find this collection. great characters. great writing style!!

Trip Down Memory Lane

I first read these books back in 1984 when I was a preteen. Sadly they did stand up to the test of time. The characters are shallow. The girls are constantly in danger of being raped. There are not something I would let my niece read who is the same age I was when these were published.
