I enjoyed this story so much! I really enjoyed the growth of our hero Callie through this story. The mystery is interesting but the adventures of Callie in Africa are the most fun. Lots of humour and quirky characters. I will be reading more in this series.

I would write a better review but GR in all its wisdom refuses to fix the glitch that prevents me writing a review online and after six attempts I gave up and lost the long review I had finally managed to write.

So - the shortened version:

A great ‘beach-read’. Cheating fiancé, over-bearing mother, solid sensible friend, good fun to read with a slowly developing relationship and then a real sense of tension to round the story off. I loved the scuba-diving and how it showed Adam’s change of attitude to Callie.
Humour, sunshine, conflict - the perfect combination for a light and frothy summer read.

I read the original draft version of this book on Wattpad before it was available for purchase as a published book, but even then it was an excellent read. It was actually the first book on Wattpad that I read from front to back and that was over a span of just a few days. The book was that good. It had humor, exotic locales, adventure, romance and excellent writing. It's still one of my top books to recommend to fans of contemporary romance!

Callie got dumped by her fiancé Bryce three days before her wedding and her friend Kat drags her back to Egypt with her for an extended vacation. What Callie didn't know is that when her mother paid for her vacation she made sure to give details of your current situation too. So Callie finds herself in various situations with men who got a leaflet about her and are trying to date her. (Side note: I didn't like how the German guy was pictured!) To escape this craziness she decides to learn scuba diving with Gabe, a nice but gay guy from Switzerland. That's where she meets Adam who will become kind of her fling until Kat and her boyfriend Mo don't come back from a diving trip. Callie and Adam have to raise hell to find out where Kat is and what happened. When Kat's safe they're trying to gain media interest and so Adam is asked how many Twitter follower he can reach. By telling how many he can reach he also reveals who he really is, knowing the risk he takes because of lying to Callie. The search for Mo continues while Callie flies off home but that's not quite the end of the story but read for yourself.

Reeling from being jilted three days before her wedding, Callie agrees to go to Egypt with her best friend, Kat to try to get over Bryce. However, her relaxation is interrupted constantly by potential suitors seeking to console her. It turns out that Callie’s mother has had the hotel personnel to pass out flyers detailing Callie’s predicament and asking for eligible men to court her.

To escape this unwanted attention, Callie signs up for a diving course. The only other student is a scruffy looking fellow named Adam who thought he was the only student in the class and resents Callie’s being there. As instructor Gabe forces Callie and Adam to work together, they become friends. But when one of Kat’s coworkers disappears leaving her little time to spend with Callie, Adam and Callie get much closer.

Then Kat and her boyfriend Mo disappear after going off to spend the day diving. Callie is frantic to find Kat when the police refuse to help so she enlists the aid of her friends to use social media to get the word out and help find her friends. This leads to Adam revealing that he is not who he said he is. After all, who would have 14 million followers?

A local man reveals that a blonde haired woman was seen by his friend in the local jail, Callie confronts the police chief demanding that Kat be release. He throws a battered Kat at Callie and orders all of them to leave Egypt the next day.

Thoroughly disillusioned by Adam’s confession, Callie returns home leaving Kat and Adam to get Mo out of jail. But who should show up on her doorstep but Bryce trying relentlessly to win Callie back.

This story that started out with heartbreak for Callie adds friendship, romance, and suspense into the mix to create a book that is hard to put down.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a review but I kept reading to get the answers to questions I had. Will Callie forget Adam and take Bryce back? Will she forgive Adam? Will Mo be found in time? What happened to the girls that went missing?

A funny, romantic adventure... 10 Stars!

When Callie get dumped a few days before her wedding, my heart broke for her. When she travels to the Egyptian town of Fidda Hilal With her best friend Kat, I felt like I was traveling with them. When Callie meets Adam (& Gabe) while learning to dive, I felt like I was taking diving lessons with them. What more can you want from a book than to go on a funny, romantic adventure in a foreign county from the comfort of your reading chair?!? Part of a series, but also a standalone... and no cliffhanger! Another amazing Elise Noble book!!! I'd give it 10 stars, if possible! :).

Callie Shawcross has been jilted by her slimy fiancé, and what better way to forget him than a trip to the sun? Callie travels to Egypt with her best friend where she meets Adam, who shows her what she’s been missing. Only things aren’t that straightforward, and they soon get tangled up in a holiday nightmare.

Callie’s screw-ups made me laugh out loud, and Adam made a worthy hero – what woman wouldn’t swoon at his feet? Witty, fast-paced and full of surprises, once I’d started reading I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Callie has to call off her wedding just a few days before it was to happen. To help her recover her friend Kat suggests a vacation in Egypt where she has been living. Her mother has convinced the hotel staff where she is staying to try and play matchmaker. While there and trying to avoid the staff's efforts to set her up, Callie decides to take diving lessons. In her classes she meets Adam, who irritates her at first. Eventually they end up getting closer. But Adam is keeping a secret. Will it destroy them?

When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade, or in this case, you go on an awesome vacation and learn how to Scuba dive.
Callie's adventures really show the meaning of the world TROUBLE, but you love every step of the way with her. This book combines incredible locations, awesome men in wetsuits, a little suspense and a lot of excitement in the search of what is right. I love Callie, her strong will and perseverance, and how everytime life throws her a curb-ball she manages to find a way to set it straight.

Fun story. "Trouble in Paradise" by Elise Noble was an easy read that kept my interest. It took a while to get to the mystery part but still good story. Interesting that part was set in Egypt. Enjoyed the main character, Callie. For being left at the altar 3 days before the wedding, she bounced back pretty fast. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for an easy read.

Romantic Mystery

This was a nice break from murder, thrillers and serious stuff. Elise Noble is one my favorite authors. The heroine in this book is so normal and like a real person, I chuckled through the first few chapters.

Kindle Problem

I chose the four star rating because there are so many blank pages in the novel. Even tho I was still able to follow the plot it was distracting . I really enjoyed the story just the right mix of romance and mystery.

Three days before her wedding Callie Shawcross's fiancée jilts her: Kat, her best friend takes her on a holiday to Fidda Hilal, Egypt on the Red Sea. Her mum contacts the resort and gives them the information about her recent wedding disaster and the resort starts sending her men after they make flyers for all the single male guests about her. Callie does not find the taxidermist that finds her boring, the Russian's offer of hanky panky or several others equally inappropriate men.

Kat has been working at the local water sports club and is concerned about several missing girls that have disappeared. The local police are not interested, so friends of the missing girls have nowhere to turn.

Callie tries scuba diving and finds she likes it so she takes a course to become certified with one other student a sexy but scruffy guy named Adam. He becomes her diving partner. When Kat and her boyfriend Mo go missing the Trouble in Paradise becomes personal to Callie and she has to find her best friend. What she, Adam and Kat uncover puts a whole new face on Fidda Hilal.

Trouble in Paradise if a romance, a mystery, a thriller and an adventure. I enjoyed it from the first page to the last page.

I have read this book a few times. Each time, I enjoy the characters and plot. Elise uses humor to develop the characters story. The main character, Callie, fights through her insecurities and finds her voice to stick up for herself and friends who have disappeared. Add a touch of romance, Trouble in Paradise is a great read.

I really enjoyed this book it had everything a little romance, a little mystery, great characters. I liked everything about it, although romance books aren't really my thing it wasn't sappy like a lot of others I've read. Can't wait for another from this author.

Well Done!

I have to admit I was fooled by this book. I started reading and at around 10% I thought this was an interesting diversion from Elise's normal suspenseful novel, but I was so wrong. There was still action, adventure and suspense delivered Elise Noble style. Well Done!

Keeps you guessing

I usually can accurately predict what will happen to the characters next, and based upon the storyline know what is going to happen next. Not with this book. I enjoyed reading and looked forward to wait for the next episode,
