Lucy Kincaid swore she’d never go back to Undraland, but with her mother’s promise of possibly finding Linus buried there, Lucy knows she has no choice. She’ll stop at nothing to unearth her brother, even if Jens thinks she’s lost her mind. Without a second thought, Lucy barrels through Undraland with her Merry Band of Thieves – plus Tucker. Though she knows she can’t trust his reckless antics, she comes to terms with the fact that she has no choice but to work with the man who abducted her. It’s Undraland as she’s never seen it before, and this time Lucy won’t leave until the land that abandoned her family gives her back her brother.

This book was okay, but the rating is for the series as a whole. Tried to like Lucy, but she was so childishly immature, and it seemed to get worse as the series went on. Got so aggravated I almost didn’t finish the series. Doesn’t help that I despise love triangles, almost as much as RH novels, so it had that going against it. And personal space? Girl get a clue. Linus is pretty awesome, so is Jens, most of the time anyway. I liked one of this authors other series, but after reading this one, not sure if I can read any more of her books. She is a good writer, and I felt the loss of the characters that died, but the subject matter quite often had me questioning why I was reading this.
The best part of this was Harvard. I’m not sure if Lucy’s descending into madness but her holier than thou attitude is grating. Yes she’s hurt because Jamie tormented her when he was cursed but the fact is he was cursed, and she did it to him knowing the pain from being on the receiving end of it? All because she didn’t want anyone touching her dead brother when she refers to Jamie as her brother also? Unforgivable. Bitter sweet at almost finishing this series, it’s been a long and for the most part, lovely ride.
Upon her return to Undraland, trouble immediatley breaks out. So much for a nice, quiet, quick trip! Lucy sets out on the quest her mother gave her. To carry out this mission she must revisit many places that don't hopld the best of memories for her. She seeks answers and help from one who onced helped her mother. The adventure continues and the reader isleft wondering, will Lucy ever find peace. Not Martin Luther peace, but the peace that shows real happiness and contentment. I think she needs her Henry Mancini and David Cassidy love too.
Two children twins grew up with adoring parents and no permanent home until Linus got sick and died then both parents died the same week in a car crash, leaving Lucy to pick up the pieces on her one. This seventh book in the series that has to be read in order, is still full of twists and turns until the end. Loved it, read one after another.
I couldn't wait for Lucy to finally have her Linus back. And, at times, couldn't breathe while wondering what could possibly happen next. Of course, in true Undraland fashion there were perils at every step. Throughout all the fighting and trials the biggest question swirls around your head. Will she be able to get him back? Can it even happen?! And what if it doesn't?
short book full of stomach turning pain, sorrow, regret, guilt... fresh. exhausting! Lucy is buckets of crazy, but it serves her well. she is coming back to herself and its a crazy beautiful thing. I honestly have no idea how all these plot points are going to conclude but I'll fund out today!
