Lyric’s Accidental Mate, Iron Wolves MC Book 1 is the first book in the Iron Wolves MC series by Elle Boon.

Lyric Carmichael is the younger sister to the second in command to the Iron Wolves pack. Lyric is twenty four years old but to say her brother is over protective would be a huge understatement. A night out with her girl friends to a club goes terribly wrong when an attempt is made to kidnap her by an unknown pack. Lyric considers herself to be a strong wolf, her brother and his best friend, the alpha of their pack, made sure to teach her well how to fight. But she can’t take on this many shifters. Just when she is about to think she might be out of luck, a human man that at first sight calls to her wolf, steps in to help her.



Rowen Shade just went out for a drink and had just arrived at the bar when he saw the beautiful woman being accosted. Rowen was a trained killer with years with the special forces. It was instinctual to step in to help her but there was more to it than that. Something about her called to him. Rowen had no knowledge of the existence of shifters and couldn’t believe it when long nails started springing out of his attackers fingers and hair sprouted in places it shouldn’t have. What in the world is going on. Even with all his training, he is outnumbered by the bad guys and the leader bites him. After they finally run, then the beautiful woman bites him again, although instead of being painful, her bite was the most erotic experience he’d ever had.

“His world was built on structure and organization. He had a feeling letting Lyric into his life would upset it more than a F5 tornado would.”

Biting the beautiful man who tried to protect her was the only thing Lyric could think of to do. If not, he would have been forever connected to the other evil pack that tried to take her. This way, he would be connected to her pack.



Thus begins Lyric and Rowen’s journey. But the danger follows them and their entire pack is targeted. Rowen, though, now feels the intense need to protect Lyric. He doesn’t understand it but knows deep within himself that she is his. Somehow, though, the bad guys know where the secret tunnels to their club house is. Could there be someone from within supplying them with information?



This was a short and sexy story that takes place over about two days. I love a hot shifter story but this one was just okay for me. The story didn’t flow as well as I would have liked and even though I liked the Hero and heroine, I never really felt as connected to them as I would have liked. So, even though I did enjoy the story, it was just a mediocre read for me.

Now that I've had time to take a cold shower... Let me start by saying Elle boon knows how to write a hot sexy world of wolf shifters!!! Talk about hot as f##k totally alpha shifters!! I'm more of a vampire girl but,if one of these iron wolves mc dudes came knocking at this girls door I'd go wolf!!! Especially if it was kellen,xan,wyck or coti and the the women of the iron wolves are pretty hot too!! This is lyric's and rowan's story and it's awesome!!! What happens when a sexy human and a hot she wolf meet a whole lot of hot sex and more!!! 5 hot stars for THE IRON WOLVES SERIES!!!

I asked for reading recommendations on my Facebook group because I wanted a super sexy shifter story and they definitely came through with this one. My very first by the author. I was hooked on Lyric and Rowan from the get go. Though the story moves at a rather fast pace, it has enough development to do a good showing in world building. Enough to make me what to read the next story right away. The plot wasn't all that inventive, as I have read several similarly planned. However, I found that the author did well in the execution and I found myself enjoying it despite some of the predictability. All in all, it was just what I needed.

Safety: No cheating. No others after they meet. No rape or abuse.

Well the action parts seemed to be better written than the rest of the story. So I thought perhaps the author's writing had improved since my last read by EB...
But the dialogue was overly crude and ridiculous. Nobody talks like that, and if they do, I sure don't want to meet them, sheesh!
The women that are heroines in the series are virgins. The men are disgusting sluts.
Well except for the hero in this book. Thankfully there is nothing from his sexual past rubbed in our faces!
Everyone is a cardboard cutout character with the emotional depth of a gnat.
But it was mildly entertaining fluff that I skimmed a fair bit to get through.

Rowan is ex-super-secret-military wealthy guy. Lyric is sexy, young werewolf virgin who kicks ass in the beginning but becomes a coward towards the end.
He (starts as a human) when he comes to her rescue but is bitten by the bad guy. So Lyric bites him to save him from the OTT bad guys evil clutches.
This is not the point where they become accidental mates and frankly that whole part was no big deal and kind of a let down.

But anyways, blah blah repeat, blah blah repeat. HFN? sorta HEA. No epilogue.

Meh. I think I'm done with this author now.

Ahhh, Elle Boon does it again with her new Iron Wolves MC series. Boon definitely has a true gift for writing potent and sexy romances that draw the reader in from the very beginning and keep their attention until the very end.

Lyric's Accidental Mate was definitely no different in that regard. Lyric Carmichael was a strong alpha female who really knew how to take care of herself -- even surrounded by a rogue group of shifters who meant her harm. Lyric was ready to take them on or die trying. Fortunately for her, she was aided by the super-sexy and badass former commando, Rowan Shade *le sigh*. I absolutely adored Rowan because he stepped up to help a woman in need, even when the odds weren't exactly in his favor -- especially when the assailants went furry. As strangers, Lyric and Rowan battled together to get out of a really tough situation. Even with Rowan's strength and skill, he did not escape the situation unscathed. Actually far from him. He was bitten by one of the attacking shifters and immediately knew that his life would never again be the same.

Lyric's Accidental Mate follows Lyric and Rowan as they cope with Rowan's new status as a shifter and all that means for the couple. But oh...do they discover what that means in the most delicious of ways!

Boon actually filled the story with interesting secondary characters and interesting hints to what their stories will be and I can't wait to see how their tales play out. Lyric's Accidental Mate was an outstanding introduction to a promising new series by Boon

I have to hand it to Elle Boon. She has one hell of an imagination. Besides her characters being extremely hot and interesting, she pens a story that has you wanting more and wishing that the next book would release the next day. Honestly, I couldn’t believe how quick this story moved. I felt like I just started it and I was reading the HEA. Damn, I really wanted more of Rowan and Lyric and the rest of the Iron Wolves MC. This looks like it is going to be a fun and interesting series and I can only hope that Syn’s story comes out soon.

Rowan and Lyric were wonderful together. She has sass and he has a heart of gold. Ex-military and alpha as all get out, Rowan just grabs you from his first appearance in the story and has you falling hard for him in not time Fearless, doesn’t back down from anyone or anything. Compassionate, caring and oh so dominant in bed, he is definitely a match made in heaven for the Iron Wolves MC and Lyric.

Lyric doesn’t take anything from anybody either. Her brother is very protective but there isn’t much he could do about Rowan or the accidental turning of him. He can push around his weight and be immediately told off by Lyric and Syn. Lyric is fearless and just as caring as Rowan. She really felt bad about turning Rowan about not being able to get him through his first shift without any pain, about not giving him any choices. But, she wanted him and was not about to walk away from that.

Together, they face the threats, her brother Xan, Kellen and the rest of the MC to be together. Together they explode in bed. Together they will make a life for themselves, acclimate Rowan to being a wolf and in the MC.

Lyric’s Accidental Mate was actually fun to read. Elle interspersed the fun with the serious, the sexy with the erotic. All the characters were interesting and have me looking forward to more of the Iron Wolves MC. Syn is next and I cannot wait to see who she ends up mating. Elle left a lot of room as to who it will be. Now, I know who I would love to see her with but I’m not sure if she will take the easy way out and put her there. And, that’s the other thing that I adore about Ms. Boon’s writing – she writes what we least expect. She makes sure that you have to wonder where she is taking the story and the characters. Nope, didn’t expect Rowan to just accept the supernatural being he became … see, logically, he should have fought it, asked more questions … that’s what I was expecting and didn’t get that at all. I got a fun story with two characters that were totally hot and adorable. Thank you, Elle for keeping us on our toes, keeping us guessing and giving us wonderful stories.

This is the first I've read by this author and I liked it. It was a cute sexy shifter book - definitely leans more towards the smutty erotica than the sweet romance.

Lyric (I love that name!) is a wolf shifter and part of the Iron Wolf MC - she's 24 years old and is no fainting female. I liked her snark but also her vulnerability when it came to her H.

Rowan is a human ex soldier that stops a kidnapping of the h and ends up getting bitten and then turned by Lyric. He was your typical alpha with a sexy dominate side. His easy acceptance of Lyric, all things shifters and the whole mating thing was instant - no drama or even questions really. Strangely this didn't feel abrupt or anything, the story was short but had the right amount of background info and character development to feel well done.

I liked the shifter concept and the Iron Wolf MC is only slightly explored but it was a nice set up for the series. Lyric and Rowan were pretty insta-lust followed by insta-love. This is a super safe read. No mention of OW/OM or cheating. Both the H and h have eyes only for each other since meeting. The ages I think I mentioned Lyric being 24 and Rowan is in his early thirties. The h was virgin - No mention of past when it comes to the H other than he has experience.

The next two books are about Xan, Lyric's brother and Kellen, the alpha and MC President. They both sound like huge manwhores and I'm hesitant to start the next one (Xan's) but it's on my Kindle so I might just get it over with :(

Perfect first book for the series !! Lyric must bite her mate Rowan to save him from being enslaved by the Rogue wolves who initially bit him, the biggest question is ; will he survive and will he ever forgive her for bringing him into the supernatural world ? As usual, Fate has her way and Rowan takes to being a shifter just like he took to being a Special Forces soldier !! He was made for it and Lyric was made for him ! Read how the Iron Wolves got their start 5⭐️‘s !!

An ex-military man. Werewolves. A biker MC. Action. What else could this reader ask for? I love these elements, and to find them in a book? No way could I NOT pick this up to read.

Rowan's a human, and used to be in the military. He now runs a security business, which does very well for him. He goes out to a local bar for a drink, and maybe a side of sex, until he encounters a woman being manhandled. This he can't allow, nor was he raised to allow a woman to be mistreated. It goes against his very being.

Lyric is a werewolf, who's out to dance and have some fun with her best friends. Never does she suspect somethings amiss to her well being. She finds herself being manhandled by another pack, and they don't care who her brother is- which isn't smart on their part.

In steps Rowan, and little does he know- his whole world is about to be changed, and that werewolves really do exist outside of books and movies.

I loved that once Lyric and Rowan meet, there's no one else for them, except each other. I loved Rowan, and who is was and the more he becomes once all is said and done. I liked Lyric a lot. She was no foolish girl. I loved all of the action that throws the reader into it right from chapter one.

However, I didn't see how the MC was a real 'add' to the story. So, they ride Harley's, sport CUTS, and have a biker club and MC name. That was about as far as the biker world came into play. Unless you want to discuss all of the sex talk/ taunts, and how the alpha and his second in command are manwhores. That could go for any genre too. Anyway, I digress- back to my real thoughts. I loved this book, and I couldn't stop reading it. I just wish that it had been drawn out- giving the reader more time with the storyline, characters, and the whole I love you thing. I also felt that the plot needed more explaining? Or just worked out with a better: why, who is this other pack, why they wanted Lyric the second time, what did Xan do to piss them off, and yeah- just more MEAT to the story.

I could have done with out all of the sex talk when important things were being discussed that affected the well being of the members of the club. Also, I did think there was a tad bit more sex in the book then should have been . If the story had been longer, I could see it. I would have love to see the sweet and get to know you side of the couple more. Still, I really liked the story overall. If a story grabs a hold and doesn't let me go until it says 'the end', then hey! What can a reader do? But like it and look forward to the next story.

By the way, I liked the cover a lot.

When wolf shifter Lyric, a member of the Iron Wolves Motorcycle Club, is attacked outside a club, ex-special forces soldier Rowan comes to her rescue. Unfortunately, he gets bitten, and Lyric takes him home to talk him through the changes that come with becoming a werewolf. They have feelings for each other, because they're fated mates, but their new relationship will have to survive a werewolf war to see their happy ever after.

I like werewolf romances, but don't typically read motorcycle club books, so this is half in my wheelhouse. For a book that's first in a series, it's very complicated, and introduces a lot of characters, which gets confusing. I think the author would have been better off simplifying the first book, and adding more characters as she went along. Because of this, some of the characters seem like stereotypes, rather than fully fleshed out characters. The ideas are good, and the writing is quite good, but the book itself is just ok.

This is the first book I have read by Elle Boon but it is part of the Bite of the Moon series and also the first in the Iron Wolves MC series. Lyric is a wolf shifter that is tired of being under the overprotective eye of her brother and their Alpha. But a rival shifter pack as other plans. When Lyric is almost kidnapped, Rowan, an innocent, attempts to save her. Instead, he ends up being turned into a shifter that just happens to be Lyric’s mate. As with the other books in this series, the story actually starts with the bite and continues showing life after the first shift and just how different their lives are now that have felt the bite of the moon. Both Lyric and Rowan make a great couple and I can only imagine what storylines might be waiting for the rest of the characters that are part of the Iron Wolves MC pack.

This story is so good and Rowan is so hot, I love him, I was Bitten by him, I wish!

Lyric is out for a fun night of drinking and dancing with her friends, little does she suspect that there are evil men waiting to snatch her. Enter her 'Knight in Shining Armor', but as big and yummy as he is, he gets bitten. Therefore, she has no choice about what she has to do, after all he saved her and he makes her all tingly too.

Rowan never imagined that trying to save the gorgeous babe would be so life changing.

Lots of action and sizzling passion! I loved this book, just the right amount of pages and the right amount of action and sex. No beating around the bush, just get right down to the nitty gritty.

I really liked this story. Rowan is trying to save Lyric from enemy werewolves and Rowan himself is human, though Lyric is also a werewolf. He gets bitten by the enemy and she brings him to his home to help him with the transition. I like that Rowan is shown as already a strong alpha male and you know when he turns into a wolf he will be even more strong and more alpha. Oh. Yes. Please!

Really great story, but I thought it was a bit too short, but a great starting to an interesting biker mc/wolf pack series.

The story between Lyric Carmichael Wolf Shifter and Rowan Shade Ex Military special Ops. Rowan Shade comes upon what he thinks are men kidnapping Lyric from a bar. He pretends not to notice but then returns surprising her attackers. He fights them off but to his surprise they turn into half wolf half men. Lyric comes to his aid and they kill a two of the attackers but Rowan is bit. To stop him from being attached to the attacker. Lyric Bites him and removes the venom for the other wolf. They become mated. There are lots of attacks and fight scenes. The stories pretty erotic with lots sex.

I read erotica so this didn't bother me. I thought if was fitting for this type of story. The banter between the characters was immature. The story didn't connect to anything. The first attackers were never mentioned again although they threaten to return. Who were the other attackers? All we know his the leader of that pack was the nephew to the elderly couple who worked for Iron Wolves. The story just ends.

This is Not My Cup of Tea!! I need a storyline with my erotica!!

I kept waiting for Erick Von Zipper to show up!

Lyric’s Accidental mate was recommended by a Goodreads friend as a fun, sexy, paranormal biker lite type read but this was not like any other MC I’ve ever come across.

It was entertaining in its own way, but this MC was just different. In fact, instead of an MC vibe going on, this gave off more of a California surfer club vibe. Think back to the old Annette Funicello/Frankie Avalon Movies. The one that most came to mind was Beach Blanket Bingo with The Ratz MC and their fearless leader, Erick Von Zipper.

I really liked Rowan seeing as he was a sexy, badass, alpha able to hold his own against incredible odds even before he was turned into a wolf. Just to add the cherry on top of that yummy alpha cupcake, his bedroom skills were freaking panty melting. I wanted to know more about him since we just didn’t get a lot of background on him, unlike everyone else in the book.
Lyric I liked at first since she was presented a heroine who could take care of business, but she absolutely imploded when the chips were down and it completely ruined her for me. In fact, her implosion was so out of the blue and unexpected, it completely caught me off guard. I had to read the passage twice to make sure I didn’t miss something, like a massive head wound. It was bizarrely out of place.

I kind of felt sorry for the poor girl who got kidnapped by the rogue wolf pack. It felt like the rest of the group were constantly talking about who was playing grab ass with who instead of being real concerned about whether she was being made a chew toy or being violated while they decided on what to do about getting her back. Since they didn’t seem to take anything seriously, well anything but who was banging who, I had a hard time taking them seriously.

Barring the heroine’s implosion, the book had a certain campiness to it that I wasn’t sure was on purpose, but that did have me smiling a time or two. Even with all the issues, I can’t tell you I didn’t enjoy the book, I just thought it was…odd.

Lyric's Accidental Mate Elle Boon

More spontaneous than accidental, but Lyric gets her true mate Rowan, and despite everything, they get their HEA.

'Lyric's Accidental Mate' by Elle Boon is the first book the new Iron Wolves MC series and part of the multi-author Bite of the Moon Collection. I was given a copy in exchange for an honest review and I loved it. Elle Boon is a new author to me, so I had no idea what to expect, but this action packed paranormal romance had me hooked from beginning to end.

Lyric Carmichael, wolf shifter and 'baby' sister of the pack's Beta, is out clubbing with her friends when a group of rogue wolves try to grab her with the intention of sending a message to her brother Xander, but the guy in the hall who draws her attention as they're manhandling her out the back door comes to her rescue. Unfortunately he's all human and there are four of them. He doesn't stand a chance....or does he?

Rowan Shade is a lot more than a mere human, having spent years in the military as part of a Ghost Squad, he's learned a lot, but he's never come up against werewolves before, not that that stops him from trying to protect the beautiful woman who drew him like no other. He kills a couple, but is badly injured and bitten in the process. To save his life and prevent the rogue alpha from being able to control him, Lyric bites him too....

I really enjoyed this book and spent a cosy afternoon curled up and totally immersed in this steamy and action packed story filled with great characters and with a happily ever after for Lyric and Rowan, but a couple of things stood out. The actual mating bite comes later on and is more spontaneous than accidental and the reason the rogue pack is going after Xander's loved ones is never made clear. The ending is a bit abrupt and although this isn't a cliff-hanger the thread is left open and maybe it'll come out in the next book. Having said that, I loved the story and can't wait for the next one. I will happily read more in this series and by this author.

Stay or go. Mate or no. 5 GOLD WOLF BITES

WHAT A HOWLING GRRRREAT STORY!!! WOW! I loved this story so much with all of its humor, bantering, one liners, flirting, the moments that make you gasp, laugh, cry as well as the friendship, family, the pack, and, well, you get the idea! I was wholly & utterly consumed & enthralled with this SHIFTACULAR story! In fact, I started this story and kept reading until I was finished! Not even any bathroom breaks. The characters are PAWESOME! Rowan sounds EXACTLY like my kind of man, but *OW* I know he *OW OW OW* IknowheisallyoursLyric!! *OWWWWW* Chill chickie! *OW* Down girl, DOWN! sheesh The story is enriched with all the parts & pieces that are wolf - their abilities, laws, history and my favorite - the wolf & human communicating with each other! The fact that they can 'speak' and how they do. So FURRIFIC!!! LOVE IT!! I wanna say that the story is raw, but not in a dark way, more like raw with a power & intensity that grips you in its jaws and dominates you for the entire story! And then there is the mate intensity! WHEW! I could feel the heat over here! Of course there is more to the story than the mate side of things, but that IS the focal point - who your mate is, as well as finding your mate when you least expect it and then how everything is affected from that one look, that one tiny moment. Elle did you Alpha me? :-) Nah! That is all Elle & her phenomenal talent! And WOW! Elle certainly knows how to use that WOLFTASTIC talent of hers to create these PAWMAZING stories with magical worlds & FANGTABULOUS characters that have me so captivated I never want it to end! Like, NEVER! Elle, you have no idea what you have done to me!! I NEED MORE! MORE, MORE, MORE!! Pretty please?!? Like...NOW! NOW! NOW! I mean, please, can I please have some more? :) YES! It truly is THAT WOLFTABULOUS!!!! This is one more prime example of why I call Authors my Heroes! If I can get so lost, so consumed, by & into a story that I get to live in this wondrous world & forget about my pain, well, in my opinion, that Author deserves to be declared a Hero! Lyric's Accidental Mate, Iron Wolves MC Series, Book 1 by Elle Boon

It's just awesome! This story rocks! Werewolves, bad boys, some tattoos, pack dynamics, club rivalries and motorcycle club are a winning combination found here. This is a great story for those who like paranormal romance a little less vanilla.

Lyric Carmichael (female werewolf, Iron Wolves MC, pack member) had the misfortune to almost get kidnapped by rivals. Her savior, Rowan (human, ex-military) did not escape without injury, and got bitten by a werewolf. What type of bite did Lyric give Rowan to save him?

Rowan is sexy and has shown an alpha werewolf personality after the bite. Lyric is strong willed and a great match for her future mate. Will he take being a werewolf with ease?

Iron Wolves MC's enemies are closer than they know. No one will escape werewolf justice. Who has betrayed them? Will others come calling?

The story was well-written, and entertaining. The sexual tension, steamy scenes, chemistry between the two werewolves, Rowan and Lyric were hot! Readers are in for action, suspense, romance, original storylines, characters with great dialogues wrapped up in a paranormal tale. The settings are vivid. I could imagine myself at Iron Wolves MC Clubhouse when Rowan first arrived or battling for their lives.

I had a great time reading this story. I finished the story in one sitting. I trouble putting it down. I want more of this series.

I was given this ARC in exchange for an honest review. This was a great book. Lyric went out to a club with her friends to just have a good time when she is approached by a guy asking her to dance. She turns the guy down but he refuses to accept no from Lyric. He and his friends surround Lyric making it clear that she had no choice, they force her out of the club all the while Lyric is trying to convince them to leave without any consequences. Lyric and these other guys are all wolf shifters, Lyric is from the Iron Wolves MC and the guys are unfamiliar to her. A human male sees the men forcing Lyric outside and intervenes on her behalf, a massive fight breaks out and the human, Rowan is bitten by one of the other wolves. Lyric can't allow her rescuer to become a part of the unknown pack so she bites him and makes him apart of hers. Rowan and Lyric are attracted to each other but Lyric just thinks it because of the bite and tries to keep her distance. Rowan is going through the change pretty quickly and Lyric is unsure how to handle it but she manages to talk him through the shift. Lyric's alpha and her brother show up at this point and escort Rowan and Lyric to the pack club where they explain and ease Rowan into his new situation. But the fight with those other wolves isn't over yet, betrayal from the inside almost takes down the pack but not quite. Rowan and Lyric both decide they have real feelings for each other without their wolves getting in the mix.

Lyric's accidental mate was a great plot twist to the myth of turning Werewolf from a bite. Lyric runs into trouble when jumped by another pack at a bar. Rowan as human steps in even though he's fighting an unknown, something not new to this rugged hero. I thought the way the author showed the difference between bitten and born was interesting, and I liked that there was a tie to a pack from a bite. Rowan as a former soldier was great as a tough wolf earning respect in the pack easily. Lyric and Rowan have a lot to sort out and they somehow manage to do it in a day and a half...

That's were I have an issue. This story had some great meat to it however it was only 100 pages. I think it had enough to be a full novel and shortening it made it feel rushed and left so many questions unanswered. I loved the characters and their personalities, but I have so many questions that I wanted answered. A little more world building and expanding could have made this a 5 star. Ultimately Ms. Boon I want more. You have opened an intriguing avenue, but I'm a reader who wants to see what the avenue is made of and where the cracks go. I think show it in the next book and I would be hooked.

Overall I liked it and I want more, I will be reading Xan's story to see what happens next

This is shaping up to be a great new series!!!

We find Lyric out with her friend and when they get separated she gets cornered by 4 rogue wolves in an alley. Rowan, a human, comes to her aid and ends up the worse for wear. Having no choice in saving him but to turn him, Lyric takes Rowan back to his seriously secured home.

Her Alpha Kellen and his second, her brother, Xan are way overprotective and she and her friend Syn know how to take care of themselves but she can't help but applaud Rowan's bravery, especially not knowing that he was going up against wolves.

Rowan was a special forces soldier and now runs a security business. He's not sure what Lyric was doing biting him where the other guy had bitten him but he can't deny she's a hole lot better looking!!! Will he be quite so ecstatic when he finds out that he is now a shifter?

This was a great start to the series and I love alpha males being brought to their knees by sassy females!!! I can't wait for Syn's book or Kellans. Snappy dialogue, empathetic characters and fast paced story makes this a great read!!!

I really enjoyed the story of shape shifting werewolves. Elle Boon is a very talented writer bringing the characters to life within the story! This is the first book I've read that was action packed, fast paced and has twists and turns keeping me surprised throughout the story.
Lyric and her friends made plans to make some changes in their lives, but instead Lyric has a run-in with her handsome, strong and well built mate to be, who would make any female wolf drool and is ready to defend her after a ferocious pack of wolves who are trying to capture her. She never thought just a little change of events could change her life. Lyric is with the Iron Wolves MC who are very fierce and protect their pack under Kellen the Alpha wolf and best friends with Syn. A fight between two packs will be until the death of the other. I highly recommend this book to paranormal, and erotica readers of 18+.

What could possibly be better than smokin` hot, sexy as sin, pantie-dropping Alpha males that wear leather? Not much in my book!

Lyric’s Accidental Mate follows the transition of an unsuspecting ex-soldier after he comes to the rescue of a young woman being accosted by a group of thugs. What Rowan doesn’t expect is to see these filthy asshats, turning furry.

This book is definitely going to be a huge hit with readers with it’s fast-paced, action packed, and sexy romantic storyline, and don’t forget the bevvy of seriously HOT Alpha males that are sure to have some mind-blowing adventures in the future.

If you love your men strong and commanding, loyal and possessive, and did I mention and sex on legs? Then this is definitely the book for you!

"Super exciting shifter Romance"
You will love this exciting and suspenseful romance!. The characters are amazing. The story line is compelling!.
Lyric a she-wolf and the Sister of the Iron wolves MC Alpha is out at her favorite Bar with her Bf Syn. After Lyric goes to the restroom she is grabbed by some Rogues. Rowan a ex.military Human sees them rough handling Lyric and tries to stop them . Lyric feels compelled to protect this sexy human Man. Lyric manages to escape but Rowan was bitten so Lyric bites him again so the Rogues will not have control over him. Lyric knows Rowan will change into a Werewolf so she takes him back to his home to help him through the change. It seems Lyric has found her mate but will her brother accept him. Plus can she protect herself and Rowan from the Rogues?. Wow this book is so intense,exciting and steamy hot!. This is a must must read book!.

An extremely enjoyable read.
Rowan is an amazing guy that decided to help an "in duress" women out of a sticky situation. But what he didn't count on was the fact that the women and her attackers are actually werewolves. But when he first saw Lyric he didn't really care about possibly dying. He couldn't stand by and watch her get hurt
Lyric was just out to have a good time, but when a rival pack of werewolves decide to try and kidnap her she knows only one thing. Do not expose herself as a werewolf in front of the humans. But when one such human decides to intervene in order to "help" her she does her best to help him.
This was a great Paranormal romance that you will not want to put down.
There are sex scenes but they were not over whelming and they managed to help the overall plot.
This is a great first book to what I know to be an amazing series.

I think Lyric is my favorite badass heroine to date. Rowan, need I say more… he is just the right amount of sexy, badass, but still willing to accept help. Lyric, so much to say about her, she has an overprotective brother, an equally overprotective but more understanding Alpha, and some of the best friends a girl can have. I love how everyone underestimates her because of her size, but they all seem to acknowledge that she isn’t a little girl anymore. Rowan meets her in the bar and while trying to be chivalrous, ends up a bitten. What comes after is amazing. The way Lyric takes it upon herself to make it right, the way Rowan does or doesn’t fit in with the pack, and the traitors in their midst. It makes for a page turner, just like you would expect from Elle Boon!

Do you like romance, suspense and loyalty

Elle Boon has written an excellent story of finding true love in Lyric's Accidental Mate (Iron Wolves MC 1 ~ Bite of the Moon). I love how her characters take you on a suspenseful journey with an abundance of loyalty and love.

Lyric has a target on her back. She's bright, beautiful and sexy personified wolf shifter.

Rowen is a protector by nature and a soldier by training. When a beautiful woman looks up with desperation in her eyes, Rowen's instincts take over.

My love of wolf shifters called to me to read this book and I'm elated I did! If you feel the same way, I suggest you read Lyric's Accidental Mate (Iron Wolves MC 1 ~ Bite of the Moon).
