I picked up this novella because I'm an avid fan of the Piper LeVine series. This can be read prior to the series. Richard fascinated me and to see his human life answered many questions. Richard did not lead an easy life and had a good, clean soul. Im afraid to say more because thats what makes it so good. Trust me and read it! I highly recommend this novella. Gah. I need more! I'm hoping Ms. Kelli surprises us with tales for more of the secondary characters!
