Okay, I have to say looking at this in an unbiased way... this story is suspenseful, full of a mystery that is unfolding and effing hysterical. LOL I was in tears laughing in a few spots. Not even going to joke there. Desiree is a bad-arsed woman. And Ian... oh God poor Ian... dude has the worst luck in the last century slapping him in the face and making him its biotch. Seriously! Laughter. Just writing this has me laughing at what was just finished. And, don't even get me talkin' about Jerry.. Just... OMG.
Ian (who I have deemed the Asian Donald Trump) has flown back to the states when he gets word his mom is in the hospital. All they can do is wait for her pain to end. It's heartbreaking for him on more than one level. Add to that his younger brother is now missing and he has a snarky nurse riding his arse like he;s the last bull in a rodeo and homeboy is not having a good 24 hours.
Desiree, nurse, hot head and epically funny lady is just trying to do her job. Make her patience time in the hospital as good as she can but Ian throws a wrench into her plans one morning and seriously things go from bad to hysterical in a matter of minutes. He makes her spill coffee on herself, she leaves him a stink bomb in the elevator and then sneaks up on her and locks lips with her. Of course she is not happy... or mad she is just playing it cool. Ian is like a walking sushi roll she wants to eat up... (laughs)
Now, Ian is dodging security at the hospital, trying to see his mom as much as possible and find his brother with the help of his friends.... we just have to wait and see what happens next.
