DELICIOUSLY SWEET, COMPLETELY CAPTIVATING AND DELIGHTFULLY ENTERTAINING !!!

Wow! Nora Stone has delivered the goods yet again with her latest release, Craving Her Curves: The Obsession 2, the second book of her Curves and Obsession Series. This is a continuation of Stones's original series, Craving Her Curves: Charlotte's Story, which is where we're first introduced to Charlotte Rivera and Joey Parker and this book picks up immediately where Book One of The Obsession ended. Although this book is a spin-off of Stone's original Craving Her Curves Series, the author has skillfully included more than enough backstory for The Obsession, Books One and Two to be enjoyed without reading the first four books of Craving Her Curves: Charlotte's Story. However, having said that, I highly recommend reading every single book in this captivating series. It is hands down, one of the sweetest, feel-good love stories I've ever read. I found myself constantly smiling and laughing throughout the entire book as well as shedding a few tears. There were also quite a few moments of tension and suspense that will most certainly keep you on your toes. I just can't get enough of this story. This book is a wonderfully written contemporary romance featuring handsome, sexy, kindhearted Joey Parker, star quarterback for the Dallas Bullets and the beautiful, curvaceous, successful magazine journalist and novelist, Charlotte Rivera Parker who are now married and desperately trying to navigate the ever present obstacles of fame, fortune, family and parenthood, while attempting to maintain their continued happiness in their hard earned new life together. The constant intrusion of the media, over zealous fans, deranged stalkers, new family members and unexpected threats proves to be not only challenging for Joey and Charlotte but very tumultuous and dangerous as well.To simply say this book is only about Charlotte and Joey's romance, their friends and family is quite an understatement because it also includes an element of danger, drama, conflict, betrayal, suspense and attempted murder which are masterfully interwoven into the story. It's exciting, well crafted, fast-paced, entertaining, sweet, heartwarming and romantic. It is a delicious combination of contemporary romance and chick-lit with a delicious sprinkling of humor, angst and suspense which I found to be delightfully entertaining. This is not erotica but the continuation of a wonderfully touching, sweet and heartwarming love story. The narrative is exceptionally well written in the first person from the female protagonist's point of view. The dialogue is smart, sassy, well executed and flows smoothly. The characters are the main components of this story. I found them to be smart, funny, captivating, engaging, endearing, relatable, well developed and well rounded. Stone skillfully crafts these elements into a deliciously sweet and delightfully entertaining contemporary romance. No spoilers from me but I will say this....Beautiful new mom and savvy journalist-check! Handsome, sexy, new dad and football player-check! An adorable, now walking and talking baby Al who repeats everything he hears, always manages to steal your heart and provides a generous amount of comic relief-check! A brand new family member-check! An ex-assistant from hell-check! A mysterious pair of pink panties-check! Family conflict and a surprising act of bravery-check! An unexpected betrayal, a menacing new threat and another murder attempt-check! A missing child-check! Romance, a forever kind of love, a group of wonderful friends, a little humor, a large dose of family drama, an unexpected betrayal, a menacing new threat and a few tense plot twists-check! And another little surprise-check! Whew!That and a whole lot more! I have fallen madly in love with these characters and their lives and can only hope that we will be able to read more about their lives in the future. This series has restored my belief in love! Deliciously sweet and delightfully entertaining!!!
