Marci had learned to cope with her deformed leg. As the curator of The Bridal Museum, she felt almost fulfilled … until the new chef arrived to oversee the Café Wedd. But, Conrad Thorstrom was beneath her educationally. His minor accomplishments and associate degree didn’t match up to her MBA. How could she be attracted to him?
Besides, she was a gimp, and he was a tall, handsome Swede who dubbed her his Wild Irish Rose. If she was above him intellectually, he far surpassed her in the looks department.

Can this unlikely coupling come together to find their Happily EverAfter?
If you’re looking for a light-hearted fun book to read with a cup of coffee, this is the book for you. Engstrom brings two characters together for love and laughter in an entertaining and amusing way.
This wasn’t a long book, but an enjoyable one. I like how the author showed that Marci had to overcome her pre-conceived ideas, about herself and also about others.
A Recipe for Romance My mouth is still watering of all the food items mentioned in this wonderful story :) Light and sweet and sassy – this is how I would describe it (with a little accent too).
If you like Contemporary Christian Romances, this is the book for you. This a beautiful, happy ever after romance between Marci, part owner of a wedding venue and Conrad"Connie", a chef. I loved the romance, the setting and everything about the book.
