The mean streets of Memphis are about to run red with blood as the most lethal ladies in the Dirty South prepare for all-out war.
Bullets have no names and collateral damage is just part of the game as deadly boss divas push their gangs to secure total control of the streets. In the end, only one can rule—but all-out war means all-out consequences.
Vice Lord chief Lucifer goes after the upstart Crippettes gang one by one—but locking down her power will put everything she lives to protect at risk. Ta’Shara straps on her training wheels to prove she can ride with the best of the Flowers—but does this good-girl-gone-bad really have what it takes to survive? And as Queen G LeShelle viciously body-drops to keep her bloody secrets buried, her husband Python may be the one person that can put her in check.
National bestselling author De’nesha Diamond burst onto the scene as the co-author of the gritty Desperate Hoodwives tales. The Essence magazine recommended series has taken the street-lit game by storm and paved a brand new path for the edgy Memphis native. Understanding that there is a fine line between glorifying thug life and telling it like it is, De’nesha Diamond spins cautionary tales inspired by personal experience and the heartbreaking stories that make our nightly news. In the end, she aims to deliver hope, even if sometimes there are no rides in the golden sunset.
yes yes yes yes!!! De'nesha Diamond has done it again. Those Vice Lords and Gangster Disciples are back at it. This book picks up where Gangsta Divas leaves off and even introduces a few new characters to the mix for even more drama. I will be patiently waiting for King Divas
I have been reading this series since it started and the greatness of Ms. Diamond's skills never fail me! This is hands down, without a doubt the Best Series I HAVE EVER READ!! But what stops me from giving it 5 starts is that gaps between when the follow up book is released. There are so many characters coming and going and so many twists and turns that happens in each story that sometimes I forget who someone is or what exactly they did wrong in last book. I can see now that once the entire series is released and done that I will have to get all of the books and read them back to back. While I like love this series I will admit that I am ready for it to end. These "Divas" have been through so much that I can't imagine them going through anything else without destroying their legendary characters. LIke the books before, this doesn't disappoint and from the start I was hooked and had a hard time putting it down. I'm hoping Ms. Diamond will see the gold she struck with this series and work out either a movie deal or show deal because I'd watch it faithfully!
Excellent read! I just love how the author has so many characters and makes the story flow so well. Great series that I would recommend to others. Cant wait for the next book.
I did not like the ending at all. I despise cliffhangers, but I hate them more when I have to wait a whole year to find out whats next. That being said, I did enjoy this book. I read it and I have to sit and think for a minute. It sucks to even think that there are people in the world that think like some of the characters in this series. I mean, I have a fucked up relationship with my family and all but I'm not as heartless as Lashelle on any given day. That being said, i did enjoy this book and I don't have too many complaints about it. Profit kissing Lucifer at the end made me mad more than anything. Throughout the series De'nesha made us like(if not love) Tashara and then adding in Profit and their loyalty and strong bond just kicked it up. Made me feel like there would be hope for something good come the finale. So to read that all that anger and shade must have been feelings toward Lucifer, enough to grab her and kiss her ass) makes me kinda sad. That poor girl has been up and through it throughout the series and now adding to that her ONE good thing she has right now kissing on the person she admire(s)most right now leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I am never disappointed when I read this author's book. She always gives me my monies worth. I enjoy reading all her books. She grabs you and bring you into the story.
I Still DON'T LIKE LaShelle & Python & I know that they both will get what they so desperately deserve; nor do I like that new characters Sheriffa & Hydiah(or however she spells her name!). I have a feeling---actually, since I read & listened to the entire series, I KNOW THAT PYTHON & FAT ACE ARE NOT ONLY RELATED TO EACH OTHER BUT TO THIS NEW COP LADY Hydiah as well. I'm STILL NOT ABOUT THAT GANG GANG LIFESTYLE NOR AM I A SUPPORTER OF DRUG USE. So, TaShara using drugs to cope with everything she'd been through was bothersome, to say the least. I feel sorry for Willow for the loss of her brother. But, was glad that the man she loves Fat Ace is back to help her in her predicament! Though I'm Still TEAM TaShara & Profit, I WANTED TO REACH IN THE BOOK & THE LAPTOP & PUNCH PROFIT FOR KISSING WILLOW! It just goes to show that sometimes N*GGAS WILL STILL DO N*GGA SH!T FOR NO GOOD FRIGGIN' EXPLAINABLE REASON!
I’ve always loved Anisha diamond style of writing, but I was truly intrigued the moment I picked up the seat series. I really love boss divas, and don’t want to be any spoiler alerts, but trust me it will have you at the edge of your seat, and attached to all the characters, no matter how mysterious, weird and crazy they are. I am looking forward to reading king divas. I can’t say if I have a favorite character, all the ones that I had taken a liking to well just pick up the book and you’ll see what happens. I think my favorite is Hidayah, and Lucifer.Tyyyt
While the character development and storyline exhibited great potential, I found this book to be rather morbid and unsettling due to its graphic violence and triggering themes such as domestic violence and abuse. Additionally, the excessive use of profane language further detracted from my reading experience. Unfortunately, I couldn't push myself beyond the third chapter. Overall, while the book had its strengths, it was overshadowed by its disturbing content and language.
The audiobook series is the best! You can hear the inflection/deflection in the character's voice, doing another voice like a male character for the main female character is phenomenal, and can visualize being there. I do this while reading the physical book, prefer the audio.
Disclaimer: I borrowed a copy from the library and giving my honest opinion.
I had actually read this novel before. Down south drama. Blake Karrington is a better writer for this genre. The gangster life, for men and women, usually does not end well. The plot was okay. A ton of murders along the way.
Amazing read. Understanding how gang life can tear a family and friends apart. How do you choose. This series keeps you wanting more. I can not wait for the next release to come out. There is currently no expected date of any new release.
There ain’t nothin these boss divas won’t do to be on top and show their power. The storyline gets more bizarre and outrageous but that just makes me love it more.
Yes!!!!!! D.D. has engaged me again with another awesome read! The VD’s and the GD’s are just at their game claiming the streets of Memphis. The flow of this series thus far is so well written that you can’t put the book down for a minute…..you just want to keep reading to see what is going to happen next. My favorite characters thus far in this series are Willow and Mama Peaches. I pray that that Mama Peaches….I’m holding on for the next read and trying to breath evenly at the same time for the next series of drama….
Great read for sure. I will recommend this series to everyone.
The most lethal ride-or-die women in Memphis now run their gangs and the streets. But the aftermath of an all-out war means merciless new enemies, time-bomb secrets…and one chance to take it all…
Bullets have no names and collateral damage is the game as the women of the Dirty South push to secure total control. Vice Lord chief Lucifer goes after the upstart Crippettes gang one by one- but locking down her power will put everything she lives to protect at risk. Ta'Shara straps on her training wheels to prove she can ride with the best of the Flowers-but does this good- girl-gone-badreally have what it takes to survive? And as Queen G LeShelle viciously body-drops to keep her bloody secrets buried, her husband Python may be the one person that can put her in check. Now these boss divas will go head-to-head for complete domination-because in the end only one can rule…
The fourth installment of the Diva series does not disappoint. There is drama and action woven within every page. Some major playas have returned from the dead and many family secrets are revealed. The character development is on point in this book, because you witnessed unbelievable transformations. One thing that has not changed is the murder rate in Memphis. Ms. Diamond has a certified banger with this book as well as the entire series. Time to crack open King Divas! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I listened to this book as I have the others in the series. This book moved quickly without actually making much head way in the plot development department. The author's writing is such that I was eight and half hours in with 2hours left before i realized it. Story was still engaging and a bloody good time. There were only a few points that were a little annoying for lack of a better word. Lashell's constant talk of the throne this and the throne that...Teshara what was her purpose in this installment? I forgot on occassion that she is only 17yrs old. It did become cumbersome to have the "familial" connection between 2 primary characters realized from everyone and their mama's point of view. There are alot of characters to keep up with so pay attention.
Loved it.. I really got into the story all over again and I am left speachless. I can not wait til the next book! I loved the development of all the characters in the previous books and this book put alot of things into perspective.. Then new captain really does a good job in spooking everyone and I was surprised to find out who her father is.....
Yes it's all going off again I've loved this series from hustlin divas an De'nesha you have out done yourself again I can't wait for King Diva's we love these books down here in the uk keep up the wonderful work love it.
it seems the third book is almost the same to the second one. Lucifer go so freaking hard she is a boss hitch I just hate I have to buy the dam 4th book
Enjoyed this book. The whole gang is back with more drama than ever. The book answers many questions, but leaves more. I can't wait to see what happens next. Will the beefing ever stop? You will have to read to find out. The ending was crazy. Not crazy bad, but more like OMG kinda crazy :)
This book was great. It was a automatic page turner. I loved how the characters blended with the story. Now I can wait to read the next book with my thirsty ass. Great job you will not be disappointed at all trust me on that.
Ta'Shara and Profit have been fighting so hard for their relationship. And I've been rooting for them from the beginning. Now this happens? I'm so mad at Profit right now. I have no idea what Lucifer is even thinking.
I love this book! The only thing I hate is a wait til the next book of the saga to come out. I honestly never want the saga to end. I read this book in one night that's just how great it was!
