Jesse Maclean’s life is in flux. Laid off from his job going into the holiday season, Jesse is facing debt he no longer has the means to pay. He is consumed with financial worry. Given his precarious financial situation, Christmas is far removed from Jesse’s thoughts. But that changes when he visits his grandparents in Vermont and discovers that his wife packed the family Christmas Tin in his duffel bag. The Christmas Tin inspires his grandparents to share their stories with him, poignant holiday stories of faith, hope, and perseverance during hard times. Stories that might just give Jesse cause to re-evaluate his situation and learn that good things can happen even in the most trying of times—especially during the holiday season. REVIEWS "Wonderful. Different. Captivating. Once started, you will find it hard to put this book down." Readers' Favorite
Wow, this story was as good as the first one-The Christmas Tin I, most definitely! I really like how the author inserted stories within the story. All in all, I think the message was that although sometimes in life, we have crisis, it may not seem what it really is. There is always hope and faith to get us through, and things work out for the best. This was a wonderful Christmas read, and how I wish there was a book III, because I really enjoyed these two book! I highly recommend this book!
The Christmas Tin II was good. I loved that it gave 3 stories within it. Gives all the warm feels and your heart feels very full. How perfect that I finished the soldier story from his Grandfather, on Veteran’s Day. ❤️
What a well-written, heartwarming and inspiring read! I thoroughly enjoyed both Christmas tin books. Both stories lifted my spirits, brought a tear to my eye, and then left me grinning like a fool. Merry Christmas y'all!
Fast paced story, with heartfelt memories and fascinating historical reminiscentSo! Everyone should read this for the history. I can relate to them from my parents stories.
