This is a collection of all poems that Anna make during her live period beside some selections that she lately before her death. It is a nice feeling to have such a book at your home and feel the touch of the Russian life through this book and through the point of view of Anna Akhmatova.

This was the first book of AA's poems I attempted to read in the original. Sadly, it doesn't contain any of my favorite Akhmatova works.

С умом составленный сборник Ахматовой - стихи, написанные до российской катастрофы и после. По прочтении очевидным становится место поэтессы в истории русской поэзии - голос матерей, сестёр, жён репрессированной страны.
Россия - страна женского рода, и именно женщина-поэтесса должна была описать кошмар уничтожения и насилия над людьми родины.
Процесс надругательства над Россией продолжается, вот только поэтического голоса, описывающего апокалипсис уже нет.

Красиво.

В детстве этого было достаточно, а сейчас тексты без самоиронии права на существование не имеют. У Ахматовой ее немного, но она есть.
