“Cassius moved as fast as he could, though he wasn’t sure of how much time he had. He thought of her face, sadness imprinted in the clean lines of it. His mind clouded too with her voice when they made love and the smell, the taste of her. How could he let himself not see her? And just for being a SEAL?” Cassius Morello joined the Navy SEALs to be closer with his older brother, Orion. Unfortunately, Orion wants nothing to do with him – their SEALs mission has brought danger into their lives. No time for family reunions with the Russian organized crime ring on their tails. When Cassius meets Amy, a bartender at the mob’s club, his whole life changes.
I still don't know what exactly happened here. Cassius is the main character and he is described as skinny and pale. Is that really how you want to portray your leading man? Amy is a bar waitress who sets him up but loves him. I'm so confused!
This was a book about a young man named Cassius who always wanted the acceptance of his father and his older brother Orion. So in order to try and get closer with his brother he joined the SEALS. while in Russia he met a young beautiful woman named Amy. Was this life cut out for Cassius? Will he ever get his brother acceptance and will he find true love?
Received this free Arc copy from the author for an honest review. Cassius was a Seal, just like his brother. On a mission dealing with the Russian mob, he meets Amy. Their romance was sweet, hot and beautiful. Really detailed about all the characters and enjoyed it
This book is a good read, it held my interest through out the whole story. It's a fast read and I look forward to reading more books by Claire . This book is very well written and the characters are very well developed.
Worst book I have ever read about Navy SEALS! Clearly this author has not done any background research on this matter. Thankful it was such a short book so I could just get it done and over with!
