From someone who has breasts, I would kindly request everyone to remove all forks AWAY from the chest area, please.
Sigh. I've encountered a lot of weird shit in my life as a reader but this really takes the cake for the most cringeworthy erotica that I've ever had the misfortune to read. I've never particularly warmed up to the BDSM genre, but I do appreciate it when properly executed.
But this? Uh, nope.
Okay, basically we have this heroine who's distraught because her dick of a husband is cheating on her. So she did what every woman in her position would do.
Did she gracefully move on with her life and focus on her job as a kindergarten teacher? Hell no! Of course she lurked online, found a chat mate who'd give her sexual instructions and started having cybersex with him. Duh. Everyone would have done that.
And oh, let's not forget the fact that she's cybersexing with a guy whose face she didn't even know. (They refused to do webcam sessions; only chats.) She also agrees to meet up with him. Right, of course, she didn't even consider if the faceless, random guy with the intense Dom nature would be a serial killer or a rapist or something. Of course not! That doesn't happen in real life, right? (The Crime and Investigation Channel would beg to disagree.)
So yeah, overall, fuck this shit.
UPDATE: Like I said in the comments, I wish the publisher warned us about the degree of BDSM here, especially for those who can only take the soft kind.

This book was so unlike any other

When Sophie's husband asked for a divorce over a text message she decided she needed a change in her life. She finds an online BDSM chat site where she meets MC. He offers to train her and teach her the ways of the BDSM world through email, chat, and phone calls. Sophie has never done anything like this before but she finds that she liked the thought of giving up control to this mysterious man. Soon the online lessons aren't enough for her and she wants to break the rules and meet MC in person. But with breaking the rules comes consequences and she's not sure if she's ready to pay the price.
I requested this book from NetGalley because the description was so interesting and I've never read a book similar to this one. I was just looking for a hot, sexy book and this one certainly delivered. The things MC had Sophie do were so out there and not something you usually read about. I liked the creativity that was put into this book and the story really went out of the box.
The creativity is really what made this book good but without it I was getting a little bored. The parts that didn't have something really crazy going on were slow and didn't have anything interesting happening to keep my attention. Overall, the sexy parts of the book are worth reading this for but I did want a little more story to go along with it.

First of all, can I just point out the cover of this book? Not only does the cover model look just like what I picture "MC" to look like, but I love everything about it from the font to the colors. Well done, Normandie!
This story was Sexy, yes, with a capital "S". I had a special interest in this story, and it read like a page from my life there for a bit, so much so, I was ready to see if Normandie had hijacked my computer!
I loved the imagination of MC in setting up tasks and scene play, and the willingness of Sophie to do as she was told. I actually had to stop a couple of times and just picture in my mind exactly what position she was in to achieve what he was having her do. I also liked that Sophie stuck to her guns about "no cam/video" scenes. She did everything her Dom asked of her, but that was one thing she wouldn't compromise on.
I enjoyed the characters, however I thought MC was kind of a jerk at times. Sometimes the language was a bit off putting, from both of them, I really enjoy "dirty talk" but some of this just felt forced or out of place. But not enough to totally distract me from the story.

I do believe that Normandie Alleman is the next big thing that's going to take the literary world by storm. Her Web Master was pure genius and her best novel to date, I say that with nothing but love because all of her novels have been outstanding. She is one of those incredible writers that continues to grow and get better with each new novel that she writes and Her Web Master was no exception.
From the moment my eyes touched the page I was entranced, Normandie Alleman had me tangled in her spell right from the start. Her Web Master is a decadent story designed to grab you from the beginning and keep you tethered to your e-reader, so you have no chance of coming up for air until the book is finished. Well done Mrs. Alleman, you succeeded I successfully ignored everything around me and engrossed myself in this incredible work of art until you broke my heart at the end.... Only to put it back together when I found out more was coming!
Her Web Master is a novel about a young woman named Sophie who has been in a loveless marriage for 6 years to a cheating husband. After parting ways she finds herself in a situation with an online Dom. Intriguing right. Oh it gets better. These two have this off the wall crazy chemistry that will have you blushing, turned on, and needing a cold shower when it's all said and done. They get into these situations that I have no idea how on earth Normandie Alleman even came up with them but thank goodness for her naughty little mind. Because my devious one devoured every delicious sentence!
The emotional connection you feel with Sophie during this book is incredible. Right from the start you feel for her and it continues all the way through the book. She is one incredible woman that has been through some crazy things and you really just want everything to work out for her. Our Dom is one incredibly HOT SEXY ALPHA MALE! Holy Smokes this man has become my favorite book boyfriend of all time. I LOVE HIM. I seriously have read this book twice already and I'm going in for a third time now. I can't get enough of it!

I’m honestly really surprised by how much I liked this book. It was available under the BDSM Group read 2 review group and I hadn’t initially planned on requesting it. Now I’m so glad that I did!
This book introduces us to Sophie, a wife who is looking for more than her constantly cheating husband, and kindergarten teaching job, can’t give her. What she finds is an online Dom who will help willing and committed individuals to come to their own submissive nature through a series of tasks all done over the internet or over the phone.
I really liked how the H, MC, utilizes things at home to create new ways for someone to submit on a solo level. It feels a little more realistic to have characters in a BDSM book not have all the accoutrement for kink right away. Sophia has to go shopping for a lot of items that she has never purchased before but also gets to utilize a lot of random house-hold items to make up for not having a partner to go to town on her and tie her up and the like (clothes pins, terry cloth wrist bands, rubber bands; I’ll never look at day to day items in my house the same way ever again).
All of the solo play was very intriguing and very hot and steamy! This in and of itself was a surprise to me. Who knew you could have so much kinky fun on your own!
The list of to-do’s from MC get more and more serious as Sophie continues to explore her submissive side and this is where I truly appreciated the fact that the author, Normandie Alleman, was a former psychologist. I personally feel like this allowed her to show us a much more realistic and “every-man/woman” situation with regards to BDSM and looking for a good Dom/me. I could definitely see the author’s knowledge come out with how MC interacts with Sophie. I mean, MC basically seems like a psychologist for the BDSM community, understanding limits and how to push them without pushing someone over the edge, and also how to get the other individual to be honest with themselves so they can truly appreciate that side of themselves. Like any good psychologist it’s a lot of “and how does that make you feel”, from MC, but really this is perfect. He isn’t demanding she be a certain type of person, he’s giving her the freedom to find out who she is for her. Oh, and I LOVED the lists and quizzes that MC puts together. Again, this just screams that the author understands psychology and how to get people to be honest and forthcoming, as well as becoming comfortable in their own skins and accepting who they are.
Another shout out to the psych background of the author is how we are shown that Sophie is seriously struggling with not having human contact throughout her online “relationship”. This is such a real thing as all humans NEED human, physical relationships to be healthy and Normandie makes sure we get to feel that and I truly sympathized with Sophie during these extremely emotional moments.
The final thing I’ll say is that I liked the ending. I really didn’t feel like a sequel was needed but at the end of the book Normandie does indicate there will be a second book coming out. I’m excited by this because I’ll get to read more by this amazing author about this very real couple. But at the same time I don’t need to be freaking out in the meantime because there aren’t really cliffhangers. The story ties up very nicely so I would say you could stop after book 1 if you’re so inclined. Also, with the ending, I enjoyed feeling the anxiety Sophie has at finally seeing what MC looks like, it felt very real and had my heart beating a mile a minute along with Sophie, and I was not disappointed with the outcome!
I just really can’t say enough of how much I enjoyed this and would highly recommend it to BDSM/erotica readers. I will definitely be reading more by Normandie.

Review for Her Web Master by Normandie Alleman
Normandie Alleman has once again pushed the bar on erotic romance. I fell in love with her Daddy’s Girls series and she quickly became an author that keeps me on pins and needles waiting for her next release. I was excited about Her Web Master from the moment I first heard about it. In fact, I’ve been acting like an excited puppy stalking Alleman on Facebook for updates. Finally, I got it in my greedy book whore hands and devoured it in a single sitting. The wait was totally worth it!
One of the most intriguing parts of this book for me was the online aspect; with so many people turning to the anonymity of online dating it was interesting to see how that would translate into a BDSM type relationship. I’ll admit, there was an itty bitty, teeny tiny sliver of doubt on how Alleman could pull off the level of heat and intensity that I’ve come to anticipate in a good BDSM book — but she more than exceeded my normal expectations. It really shows how talented she is at painting a scene. She gives what is essentially a woman masturbating alone in her home, the feel of a Dominant mastering his submissive.
Sophie is a prisoner in an unfulfilling marriage with a philandering husband, living with the ideal that divorce is not an option. I wasn’t sad one little bit when her husband was out of the picture. Good riddance.
After failed attempts at finding anyone of interest on the dating websites, she was accidentally introduced to the world of BDSM. Curiosity piqued, she found herself on a dedicated website to all things kinky. Reading the forums made her — want. The posts from a Dominant going by MC made her — need.
“This is what you wanted, this is what you needed, this is what you’re going to get.” -MC
MC is a Dominant in every sense of the word. He offers online training for submissives and is quite the task master. I instantly liked him, he was very clear and upfront with Sophie. Even though she didn’t know what she wanted or needed, he was patient with her uncertainty and lack of knowledge. He was adept at finding tasks that would not only push her out of her comfort zone, but would leave her craving more of his dominance. And lord have mercy that man has a dirty mouth. A terrible, dirty, raunchy, sexy, panty wetting mouth. Alleman built his character so well, describing him through Sophie so perfectly, that as I was reading I swear I could hear him growling his commands through the words on the page.

The story progressed at a pace that made sense for this type of relationship. When your only contact is via the internet and phone, you can build a powerful relationship without all of the distractions and physical insecurities. The tasks MC gave Sophie were believable — things that any Dominant might require of his submissive — meant to challenge and arouse, always preparing her for the next step in training.
As with most online relationships, the word more comes up. A physical need starts digging in and once it takes hold, it’s almost impossible to ignore. It starts to taint the intimacy you’ve created. Makes you question — everything.

Her Web Master is an erotic exploration that pushes beyond boundaries and even further down a path to self-discovery. Sophie and MC will take you above and beyond the status quo — the inventive ways MC masters from afar will leave you panting for more. I’ll never look at a fork the same way again.

I'll be honest and say that I was intrigued AND scared after reading the blurb about HER WEB MASTER. It was a unique concept, and me being a fan of BDSM romance, I was all over it. Needless to say, I was heavily disappointed with the book. It was extremely hard to get through and it didn't strike a cord for me at all. Besides the missing connection with the two main characters due to the fact that they were chatting online and over Skype, the language turned me off completely. Now, I am a huge fan of dirty talk and all of the strong language that could be used during a scene, but in HER WEB MASTER, there were a few words that made me flinch of all people. I mean, I can take it, believe me. Did I mention, I'm a huge fan of BDSM Romance? But using words like 'fuckhole' and having the male lead call the female lead 'bitch' way too often...I just couldn't bring myself to feel anything for either of the characters. Now, I'm not a BDSM expert. I'm not in the lifestyle at all, I just enjoy reading about it. This kind of talk might be normal for heavy BDSM people, but definitely not for me. You read this quote and let me know.

I was given the pleasure to preview an excerpt of the book, which I found hot, engaging and downright nerve-wracking. Alleman seductively weaves a tale that lets you easily slip into the shoes of the submissive and how she finds her way into her web master's arms. So by the end of said excerpt, of course I couldn't wait to read the rest of the book.
When I received an advance review copy in exchange for an honest review, I promptly opened the book to where I'd left off and proceeded to devour the tale in a one-sit read. Humorous, heart-warming and intelligent, the story was filled with hot scenes, the natural development of an online connection, and the increasingly slow burn of attraction between Dom and submissive to the point of electric.
This book launches a series of stories between Sophie Davenport -- teacher, divorcee, submissive initiate -- and MC, an online-savvy submissive trainer and Dom. 3.50 kinky cyber sub stars
Well... I am just not sure how I feel about this book. It was definitely unlike anything I have read before
Sophie is in a bad marriage, she has lived her life having to be prim and proper and independent. She decides to 'play' around online and she comes across "MC" who is a cyber BDSM Master. She decides to let him help her explore the life of a submissive through Skype and email only.
Immediately Sophie clings to the power of being dominated. MC gives her very strict instructions for 'play time' and trains her to totally trust him, obey him and need him all day every day.
I will say...the scenes, the objects he has her use....the creativity and the extreme dirty talk were OFF THE CHARTS HOT and kinky. I found myself re-reading at times trying to visualize if the things he was having her do would actually work. He helped her explore self bondage, pain play and holy hell the things he could come up with for the vibrator!
So....while I enjoyed the intense sexual and extremely erotic content of this book it felt a little clinical and boring... BUT!!! I have not enjoyed books in the past about things like sex surrogacy where there was an instructional type relationship so it very well could be because of my preference. I ended up skipping around in the last 25% (of course not over the explicit scenes).
The author did do a good job of educating me on some seriously erotic self pleasuring techniques so it was definitely not a waste of time!

Sometimes prologues are good and sometimes they are bad. This one definitely reeled me in from the get go. The story starts of as a woman is anxiously awaiting to meet someone in a hotel bar for the first time. Not just anyone--her online Dom. After training during the summer they finally agree to meet in person and the interaction sets the stage for the entire book.
The first chapter starts off with Sophie lying in bed one night only to be awoken by her husband coming in smelling of another woman...again. Although she has finally had it with his philandering ways, he is the first one to initiate the divorce. Her friend takes her out one night to get her mind off the cheating husband she is leaving and to help her get back into the groove of being a single woman. The night ends with her bent over a stranger's car while he is pleasuring her. Confused by the wanton lust that took over her, she begins to research what she has been missing out on.
As curiosity gets the better of her, she begins training with a cyber-dom. Excited about the new journey into her undiscovered darker sexual side, she begins her training as a submissive. And that's where it starts...
I really don't want to give too much away about this book! It was a very good read and interesting to see how things can be done in the BDSM world when you are learning on your own. I like how Normandie wrote about Sophie's self-discovery and how her Dom MC helped her along her journey. Things happened that I didn't see coming and I am so glad there will be more to read in the second book. I didn't want this story to end!!

I just finished Her Webmaster and I just loved it. This was a first for me by this author and trust me, it will not be my last! What I loved most about this book is the whole online concept. I think it is some sort of taboo because it is not something that I would do but the fantasy behind not knowing who you are talking to but being very attracted to the person just makes it all the more hot!

Right to cut down to it you have Sophie and she is in a lifeless marriage, her husband just doesn't appreciate her in the slightest so I hated him from the very get go, he does some terrible things that no woman has to go through and I'm not gonna spoil it for ya but I will say there is no violence, don't wanna scare anyone!!
I really enjoyed this tale of Sophie exploring her fantasise and connecting with this stranger who called himself MC, they went at a great paste and I absolutely loved the tasks he set up...BUT... I have to say though that I don't completely trust MC, I can't put my finger on it but it's like I feel like he is gonna try a pull something like TPE on her but we shall all wait and see :)
The only reason I gave it 4 and a half stars was the dirty talking got a bit to much for me, I admit that Normandie stated that he is a dirty talking alpha male but I felt like it was too much after a while, I loved most of it but then it just turned a bit nasty and I know that Sophie loved it all but me in myself would hate to be called a whore most of the time or slut 24/7

I must say that the cover of this book is hot. This book was really good and I didn't think I would like it because of the whole internet Dom. Sophie is fed up with her cheating husband so when he asked for a divorce she doesn't fight it. Sophie goes out with her bestfriend Shelby where she meets a guy who gives her an orgasm and ask her if she wants to go to a BDSM club with him although she says no she gets curious about BDSM and goes online. This in real life can be dangerous in so many ways. Sophie meets MC and she agrees to be his cyber sub. Sophie learns a lot about herself like how naughty she is and how she likes pain with her pleasure and how she likes to be humiliated and talked dirty too. Along the way she starts to fall in love with her Dom and she wants to feel the real person so they agree to meet in person and she is shocked when she sees him. Quentin who is a music composer is good looking and sexy and she can't believe that he wants her. The meeting goes really well between these two until they return home and Sophie realizes that she wants more and Quentin pushes her away and cuts off all communication and although she knew it wouldn't last Sophie is hurt. Quentin realizes his mistake and calls her she agrees to visit him. This was a really good book it was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling this was my first time reading this author and I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

If you don’t like that, steer clear of this title, but if you do like it, you’re in for a wild ride. Everything about this book is unique – the online D/s relationship, the crazy (but HOT) tasks the Dom has his sub do, and the language. All rolled into one, it’s quite an enticing read.

Would also add that after I read this book.. I did no stop rave about it to my bf.. With that much talk and picture snaps he caved and read the book so to this his input into this has also been added.. 2 for the price of one.. Winner..
So this story will blow you away..omg it really will.. So you start by meeting the lovely, smart and quite do I say cautious Sophie.. Board with life and her non existent marriage and stubbles into the world of bdsm like no other.. But I do say this ain't a story about she walks into a club and gets a slap and tickle no.. Normandie writing and obvious research into the dark world of cyber bdsm.. (its very real) so Sophie lands into the hand of mc.. A dark twisted dom.who offers something no man can too Sophie but you guessed it.. Her web master..
Mc is a cyber dom and oh did he turn up the fire.. My god reading those tasks where like heaven.. Even me and my bf may have dabbled.. So thank you Normandie you defo gave us (me and my bf) some night-time entertainment...
Gotta say we both loved this book.. The suspense and story leading up to things was brilliant.. The story and plot was so believable and so dam.hot and sex. The only thing we thought it was kinda rushed towards the end. Felt there could of been a little more.. But this didn't but me off.

This was my first book by this author and it is one that will not be forgotten in hurry.
This was more than I had anticipated and from the blurb I had initially considered that it would be a good read, but it was way over that bar!
This was a powder keg and it was set to do a darn sight more than just smoulder, this had its fuse lit and was ready to explode!
I work within the confines of the online community every single day and have never thought much to the whole online dating/relationship scenario but this author took the whole thing just a little bit further than I would have ever considered, gone was the vacant connections, this online relationship was far too intimate for that but in reality that was all that it was offering.
But how do you reconcile the fact that the person you are connected to in the most personable of terms is a complete stranger.
For me it brought to life my belief that it is souls that attract, your heart knows who you need and in what capacity, physical appearance is a distraction, mere window dressing.
Sophie is doing what she can to get over a cheating husband and start afresh but being on the opposite end of infidelity is harsh and finding confidence to put yourself back out there again is never and easy move but the next man in Sophie’s life is someone she would have never considered before.
Because her world is about to detonate when MC takes the reigns and becomes her online Master.
Now while the whole concept of online BDSM was a new one on me, I can certainly appreciate it’s not only it’s attraction but merit.
Sophie has been dipping her toes in to the scene so to speak and all without having to show face. Being online is a barrier that she emotionally needs but MC doesn’t see the fact they are online as being to their detriment, this dominating man, is about to blow her mind!
Dang, he is a force of nature one not to be taken lightly – he knows no limits and gives no quarter. And he is blessed with not only a very, very vivid imagination but a mouth like a sewer and I loved him! His verbal outbursts had me gasping and his direction was enough to leave me almost as a puddle on the floor just reading what he had to dish out!
But as much as I was besotted by MC, I adored Sophie, I loved the fight she had in her character, the strength she was prepared to show and the desire she had to find herself again, he was left a shadow of the woman she wanted to be but faced her situation with an enthusiasm that was infections, she was a lesson to us all on refusing to lay down and let the world walk over you – she sought out her future and made it work for her.
I will definitely read more from this author and I hope that I get more soon!!!

But as much as I was besotted by MC, I adored Sophie, I loved the fight she had in her character, the strength she was prepared to show and the desire she had to find herself again, he was left a shadow of the woman she wanted to be but faced her situation with an enthusiasm that was infections, she was a lesson to us all on refusing to lay down and let the world walk over you – she sought out her future and made it work for her.
I will definitely read more from this author and I hope that I get more soon!!!

OH MY HOTNESS! This book is so good! The first time I read it was an advance copy from the author. It has me from the start and I told my husband all about it (we are new into kink) and he told me to finish the book and when it comes out to make sure to buy the book and I would be reading it and actively taking part in this book.
Let me just say this book is hot as all get out! Sophie is married to a cheater and thinks she has to stay with him because you know good girls don't divorce. Well she finally speaks up for herself and he tells he wants a divorce.
Sophie and one of her friends go out and she is exposed to a little bit of BDSM which has her looking online and she decides to explore an online relationship with an online Dom.
This book is very interesting and extremely expletive and the heat factor is way up there. I look forward to reading more from this author. (And this book again and again).

I believe that this is one of the most mesmerizing book Normandie has written. There is something dark about the journey in this book. The D/s relationship that is formed over the internet is captivating. The series of emails takes us the reader into place where we might not want to go, but with anticipation we wait for the next set of instructions. While the changes in both characters is revealing, the Question for us the reader is how far would we go to find ourselves. The introduction is amazing and it sets the stage for an enthralling journey into a world that is brilliantly introduced in this book. I believe that some will bring up cyber stalking this is not the case in this book- the setting is what pulls us into the world I'd The Web Master.

I've read a lot of books dealing with the BDSM relationship between the Dom & his sub, and this story touched my heart!!! There were various elements that took the reader through the initial training...it was quite interesting. As we read the emails between them, we became entranced with the relationship that was developing. We witness the changes for both characters, and we wonder how far they will both go. I loved the way Normandie set the stage for the reader at the start, and then took us back to experience how it all began. Both characters have their own ideas as to where they want to go, but compromise is what's needed. I really enjoyed this 1st installment, and am patiently waiting for the next one.

This is an absolutely scorching read, easily passing the wet test, and something to be stored in the wank bank for future occasions.
Having said that, I wasn't sold completely. The concept of "cyber training" really intrigued me, particularly because some of the underlying reasons at present hit a little hard to home. The training scenes, although always super-hot, were written with a degree of space, slightly cold and clinical, more descriptions of what was being done than feelings, and some of the instructions were pretty complicated which detracted my attention from the actual scene. The fork thing at the beginning also confused the hell out of me (until I read further when I understood it).
It's fantastic to read a book with such good dirty talk and a focus on humiliation through this. This is a particular like of mine and I don't really read enough of it. However, some of the dirty talk felt a little forced, like it was done purely to shock rather than to excite, and was somewhat out of character. I also really didn't like Sophie's narrative voice, never quite warming up to her or MC (and never quite believing their chemistry or relationship, either). In fact, their relationship was hotter when it was anonymous than when they actually met, and this face-to-face part of the book felt rushed to me, especially the angst and conflict and its resolution.
It wasn't perfect, and I didn't believe in the romance, and I still don't really have a proper understanding of the characters. I wanted more about Sophie and Spencer's divorce, and how her relationship with MC affected her real life and her mentality. But, if you're after a decent one-handed read, or to delve a little deeper into the world of BDSM (with humiliation and dirty talk), then this is worth picking up. I enjoyed it enough to want to read the sequel.

Well I am unsure how I feel about this book. It was unlike anything I have read before. Let me try to dissect what I thought worked and what didn't.
When Sophie's husband asks her for a divorce-by text no less-she decides to make some changes in her life. She happens to find a BDSM chat site and finds a man who offers to cyber-teach her BDSM techniques through every means but face to face. She is naïve for sure, but thought it was worth a try. Soon, however, the texts, etc. aren't enough. She wants a human connection and wants to meet in person. She knows it could end in disaster, but she is determined to meet.
When I read the blurb, it sounded very interesting. And the book was interesting! The things Master has Sophie do are very creative. Forks come to mind... Some of the things are so outside the box, it made you think-is that really possible? He did help her explore bondage and that's what she ultimately wanted. What was a bit out there was someone that was prim and proper going so fast in this direction. Usually there's some friend to convince or a lot romance books read to make one curious. It seemed a far stretch for her personality.
I also didn't think Master did a good job of making sure she was safe. She seems to get addicted quickly and seems to fall very fast. And when she wants to meet up, she knows nothing about him-even what he looks like. It is widely reported how predators use social media for their own gain. Lack of background could have put her in a potentially dangerous situation.
Overall Her Web Master needed a bit more story to go with all the creative sexy parts in my opinion. My attention waned here and there. If it wasn't for the out of the box craziness, I don't think I would have continued. I gave it an extra star for that very reason.

HOT is the only way to describe this book, that being said you might want to keep a glass of ice water nearby when reading this book just to cool yourself down every so often.
Sophie, a kindergarten teacher, a wife, a debutante, nowhere in there would you expect she had an inner submissive just waiting to burst out ~ but she did. Sophie's husband had been cheating on her for the last 5 1/2 years and because of the way she was raised she didn't approach the subject and went on as if she was alone but not single, which I would say is a bit strange because of all the mental abuse she put herself through knowing her husband was out sleeping with other women while she was home.
When Spencer decides he wants a divorce I actually let out a HOOT! it's about time the a$$ left, anyway with this turn of events Sophie goes out with her friend Shelby for some drinks where she meets Brett. I have to say that I was hoping that something would come of her and Brett but she felt he was just to young for her, not that that stopped her from having a quick encounter with him ;)
Now that Sophie had a little taste of BDSM she is intrigued and does a little online research and finds a Dom that will do online cyber-training. Sophie's journey into BDSM via her online training with MC (not his real initials) is very appealing, His dirty mouth was a total turn on and I really enjoyed the list of household items he gave her to purchase for their sessions and the ingenious ways he had her use them.
I feel as if I need to write a warning like ~ never do this at home. I appreciate that this is a work of fiction and not meant to influence you into doing anything that can be of risk, so NEVER, NEVER meet a stranger online and agree to meet him at a hotel, or fly out to his home, or anything else like that, it's just to risky. Ok, I feel better now that I have said that, so go on and grab yourself a copy and enjoy the ride.

Her Web Master is the first full length novel that I've read that's been based on an online BDSM relationship, and to be honest I wasn't sure how it was going to work. I never should have doubted Ms Alleman as she definitely managed to pull it off. The storyline is really unusual and intriguing, it had me captivated from the start. There are obviously quite a lot of online conversations in the book and I was worried that this would make me feel disconnected to the characters, but the author cleverly managed to get the reader involved in these encounters. They are imaginative, varied and oh so passionate.
Sophie has been neglected by her cheating husband for years and now that her marriage is over she wants some excitement in her life. She's intrigued by the world of domination and submission so she starts investigating it online. This leads her to finding her online Dom, MC, and he takes her on a sexual adventure.
I liked both Sophie and MC, who was a deliciously dominant alpha male. The chemistry between them was sizzling, they were so hot together. This is a very clever, unique, brilliantly written book that I really enjoyed. 4.5 stars.

I have to say that this story was quite different than the ones I’ve read from Normandie, but it still had that spark that I like.
