The Bad Guys next mission? Rescue 10,000 chickens from a high-tech cage farm. But they are up against sizzling lasers, one feisty tarantula, and their very own Mr. Snake...who's also known as "The Chicken Swallower." What could possibly go wrong?

Ya'll I'm a grown behind woman that absolutely finds this to be one of the most enjoyable children's series that I've ever read. I'm pretty sure I've read this one twice at this point, but I'm just now getting the opportunity to document it. Readers follow the main characters as they embark on another foolish adventure, this time to save thousands of chickens from a chicken farm. The highlight of this installment had to be the relationship between Shark and Spider. No one and I mean no one would expect a great white shark to be afraid of a tarantula, but here we are. With just as many mishaps as the first installment, it's amazing that they were even able to complete their mission. And the ending was hilarious. I can't wait to pick up the next one. These are going to become comfort reads because I know that if I'm down and I need a good laugh, these are the books to pick up.
The Bad Guys are doing a Good Deed by rescuing chickens from a chicken farm in their own unique way! Good for a smile and giggles! I have read these out of order but I have to get them when available from the library.
The bad good guys are back. They rescued a kitty and stray dogs from the dog pound and this time they want to rescue 10,000 chickens that are kept in cages from the Sunnyside Chicken Farm. They have another member a tarantula called Legs to help them with the hacking and rescuing.
They come with a plan of getting into Sunnyside Chicken Farm's security system. Mr. Shark is afraid of the tarantula and Mr. Snake just wants to eat the chickens instead of rescuing them. They follow the plan until things start to go wrong but Mr. Piranha sacrifices himself for the plan turning out to be the real good guy. Mr. Snake eats all the chickens but Mr. Wolf isn't going to let the snake off easy. In the end, Mr. Shark disguises himself as the mother chicken and all the chickens follow him out to safety. They come across a guinea pig called Marmalade who turns out to be the owner of the Sunnyside Chicken Farm and is out to get revenge.
This was hilarious with really good art and I loved the plot and the addition of the tarantula.
I read the first book in this series last year, and since I enjoyed it, I thought I'd continue and try the next one. It's still pretty funny, with a good plot and entertaining characters (including a tarantula that makes Mr. Shark really nervous).
In this installment, the Bad Guys decide to give PETA a run for their money and break into a chicken farm to free the 10,000 chickens that are being held there. With the help of their new friend, Legs, they disable the security systems and break into the place... all while wearing onesies (yes, even the piranha). But, of course, things don't go quite according to plan, since Mr. Snake really loves to eat meet chickens. I wasn't sure if we were in for a sad or happy ending for a while there.
But the resolution is funny, and there's a bit of a silly (in a good way) cliffhanger ending that leads into the next book in the series. These books are a fun little diversion. They're easy, quick reads that will probably have appeal for kids who want a little more of a challenge than a 32-page picture book.
This time the would-be heroes face a high-tech heist to rescue chickens from a factory farm. Guarded by lazers! This mission calls from a few more hands. Eight of them...
3.5 stars. Not quite as funny as book one, but still silly as Wolf continues his mission to have Shark, Snake, Piranha and himself rebranded as The Good Guys. This time the gang decide to liberate 10,000 chickens from a farm, with the assistance of Legs the Tarantula. Snake, though, has slightly different plans....
This was very fun and enjoyable. My daughter loved it and it made her laugh more than once. The ending was a bit meh but everything else was fun, funny and enjoyable.
This remains to be so charming because these dudes are really coming into this with good intentions. Well… most of them are at least. And at the end of their first journey they were so euphoric feeling like they did something good and helped their fellow animals that it does seem like there’s some hope for them yet.
The heist format of this was so fun and it was nice to see them actually do something good (well, except for snake) considering the dogs in the last book didn’t really want to be free and were afraid of them. I also loved seeing the dynamic of Shark and Legs and how they grew close and it really dove into seeing beyond your prejudices and overcoming you fears. They were willing to risk their lives for each other and we love Shark being the master of disguise.
The Bad Boys are back! Those would-be-good bad guys - Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Mr. Piranha, and Mr. Shark - return in this second installment of their hilarious ongoing adventures. Stung when their previous effort at being heroes - i.e.: freeing two hundred dogs from the local pound - is misinterpreted in the news, Mr. Wolf launches his new plan: bust out 10,000 chickens from the extremely dangerous Sunnyside Chicken Farm. To accomplish this goal, the reluctant heroes will need the help of Legs the tarantula...
Like author/artist Aaron Blabey's first book about the (mis)adventures of this motley crew of misunderstood heroes, The Bad Guys in Mission Unpluckable was absolutely, hysterically funny! Part beginning chapter-book, part comic/graphic-novel, it provided quite a few chuckles on my evening commute yesterday, and concluded with a surprise ending (a !) that had me eager to pick up the next installment, The Bad Guys in The Furball Strikes Back. I can see why these books fly off the shelf at work! Recommended to anyone who read and enjoyed the first Bad Guys book.
This is the second book in The Bad Guys series by Aaron Blabey. Since we recently read the first book, we knew what direction this tale would go in and yet I think this book is even funnier than the first.
The story has some moral lessons about doing the right thing and helping others, but overall, it's just a fun story. We are looking forward to reading more of the books in this series soon.
The good guys try to rescue 10,000 chickens from a chicken farm. Wolf brings in a new guy, Legs, to help out and snake is obsessed about trying to eat the chickens. The team tries to do a good deed but little do they know that they're making an enemy in the process.

I would actually give this 2nd book in this series 4.5 stars. The pictures and antics of these characters had me laughing out loud.
Mission Unpluckable - I enjoyed this episode of this series even more than the 1st. Wolf is still determined to prove that he and his friends (Shark, Piranha, Snake and new buddy Tarantula), aren't the Bad Guys, but in fact the Good Guys. What better way to do that than free other animals from their cages? So a local chicken farm becomes their target - the only problem being the thick concrete walls, alarm systems, laser beams and pressure sensitive walls and floors. But Wolf isn't discouraged, calling in his computer hacker buddy Tarantula to help.
Shark is petrified of spiders, which leads to hilarious situations, and Snake has plans of his own.
Looking forward to the next Episode!

I’m not really sure what age group is the target audience for this series which does make it a little harder for me to rate. I also had no idea what the format of this book was so I was little surprised to find that it was essentially a graphic novel. Which made it even harder for me to determine what the target audience for this book was.
At any rate, it was a cute story. Mr. Snake was my favorite character closely followed by Mr. Piranha. I really adored Wolf in the movie based on the series, but in this book he felt a little flat/one note to me.
I also enjoyed the interactions between Mr. Shark and the newest member Tarantula.
Would I keep reading this? Perhaps. Would I recommend it to friends and libraries with little readers or persons who are on their way to becoming readers. Yes.
The Bad Guys 2 I think is also very funny. There are some new characters in Bad Guys 2. A new character is introduced his name is Legs he is a spider. I really like Bad Guys one and Bad Guys two I hope they might be an interest to you.
