This is the continuation of Clay and Harley's gritty, raw and dark love story.
Can you hate someone if you really love him/her? This is the case with them. Their love is a wicked twisted road. They harm, hurt, desire, love, lust, and threaten each other. Their emotions are so diverse but also so conforming. They both are two very dynamic and interesting characters with many strong personality traits.
In this second book the adrenaline rush is high and the anticipation is palpable. They play a dangerous twisted love/hate game, a game of give and take that will either save them or hurt them. But their connection is so powerful that it will not be denied. Together they'll learn when it is right to forgive and when it is time to move on.
I seriously adored this book! Kick ass characters, awesome back story, wonderful description! Great book, must read for sure!

I loved the first book in this series but this one fell flat for me and I skimmed in several places. I'll probably still try the next one at some point, but I'm in no rush now.

Filthy Wicked Love by Lili Valente is one steamy, super sexy, hotter than the summer read!
I read this book because it was in "A Love Thing" anthology that is full of super, uber sexy books! I wasn't sure what to expect because the synopsis didn't pull me in - but oh my gosh does Lili Valente's writing! The story itself is a million times better than the synopsis! It's full of really hot, steamy sex scenes that give it crazy erotica tones, and there's a splash of action and adventure. Throw in a mob boss, a cute little kid, and some epic love triangle drama and you've got this book!
Clay and Harley are super sexy together, but clearly have some issues they will need to resolve. They battle each other constantly, yet can barely keep their hands off each other. Oh, and did I mention they have a child named Jasper that Clay hasn't met? What a storyline! It's like a soap opera on steroids!
The book will keep you addicted at every turn, and it felt like a pure adrenaline rush of insanity!
I read this book without reading the first in the series, and it was easy to get into. Normally, I prefer reading a book series in order but since this book was in the anthology and I wanted to finish the entire anthology, I dove right into book two (a.k.a this book!). Lili catches you up on everything you need to know, but it might make a teeny, tiny bit more sense if you read the first book. But remember, it's a series and at this point in time has four books in it - so the story is not closing at this chapter.
The sex scenes in this book are really hot (I mean, the author WARNS you about it, but most of the time we all just disregard those warnings...). This pair was made for each other in ways I cannot explain. It's definitely a hard R for the sex scenes, so if you're not prepared for some really intense and descriptive scenes, don't pick up this book!
Normally, I'm not into this kind of book but Lili made it work for me! It wasn't so reluctant between the pair that I was put off, it seemed more playful. Both participants were into the playtime they had together, but never was there a time where it seemed to push the limits. The playfulness is what made this book so good in that category.
If I had any con for this book, it's the cliffhanger! Now I desperately need to get myself a copy of the next book because it left me hanging and wanting more! Seriously, this book is a fun ride. You might not enjoy it if you don't like some hardcore erotica or some almost non-consensual relationships though. If you're cool with those two defining features of this book, read away and enjoy the passion and pleasure these two characters bring!
Overall, I liked this book! I'd like to pick up the rest of the series and more books by Lili in the future! She clearly has a talent for this kind of writing and really draws you in with these out of the box characters!

Really 3 1/2 stars. Dark romance that has intrigue and hot insanity. Clay is the one that got away, and Harley is the crazy girl, that gaslighted, loved, and destroyed his former life. Good times.

Wow, this one ends with a cliffhanger!
After two weeks of deprivation and mind games all Harley wants to do is get far away from Clay and back to her son, Jasper. But in order for that to happen one of them must break. And Harley refuses to let it be her. As Clay begins to realize how far she'll go to protect her son, he has to admit that she's not the woman she was 6 years ago and maybe there's a chance she's changed her ways.
Just when it seems like things might be looking better between Clay and Harley, things take an abrupt turn for the worse. After agreeing that Jasper's safety is the most important thing, Clay and Harley come to a type of truce where they will both (cautiously) move forward with another and try to forgive each other for their past mistakes.
But after a passionate night with Clay, Harley wakes up alone to find that her enemies have closed in on her and Clay and her son are nowhere to be found.

Part two in this series starts where part one finishes and really focuses on the love hate relationship between Clay and Harley. Both have a battle of wills and both a unwilling to be the one that gives in, no matter what.
Be warned though this book ends on a cliff hanger that will have you just NEEDING the next part NOW. I SO want to know what is going to happen next, especially as to if the issues between Clay and Harley can be resolved as the lust between them just heats up the pages.
Another must read.

Filthy Wicked Games is book two in the Dirty Twisted Love serial. I just love cliffhangers and Lili Valente is the Queen of the cliffhanger! Clay and Harley are having a battle of the wills. The love/hate relationship they have has hit a new level. Harley is locked up and doesn't know what day or time it is. Clay is trying to break her to find out where their son is. Harley isn't going to give in and Clay isn't going to give up. They both want what's best for their son, but will they kill each other in the process? Harley is different and she didn't know Clay was alive, but she won't let him get to Jasper. She hates the man he's become, but her body still wants him. Will they survive to work together to protect Jasper? Or will they continue to deceive each other? I can't wait to find out!

Filthy wicked games starts out with a memory from 6 years ago. it brings more light to Harley and Clay's relationship, shining light on things that happened. the whole book is full of developing that connection, good and bad, hate vs love. My initial thought behind finishing was "deep". Ms. Lili reaches places that are deep, full of emotion.
Once again we have a dark steam factor where hate plays a big part in the dirty scenes. it's steamy leaving you wnting more.
A cliffhanger ending thats more attention grabbing than the first. I can't wait to see how it all plays out . what wins love or hate, who ends up with Jasper, what will the final blowout be. the anticipation is strong.

This was an amazing read. The story of Clay and Harley continues right where part one left off. The story was filled with suspense and was very interesting. The characters were better as the story went on. Clay is more open in some ways. Harley is less broken. However, their strengths as individuals makes them that much more compelling when they are together. They still love each other, and the love although crazy, it is still love. This book proves that even though you may hate the one you love, the love you have for that person is stronger. The ending was a cliffhanger. However, it is making me wonder how Book 3 - Crazy Beautiful Love will go. Overall, an incredible read.

Sorry to say that this series just isn't for me. The Premise is great: I found it to be boring. When it did start to get good (when there was actually dialogue) it was over. Major cliffhanger but I'm not sure I wanna pay the money to find out.
Too descriptive and not a lot of diaglogue. And believe me, with the things going on there needs to be more dialogue!!!!

I didn't enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed the first but there were times that really picked up and had me laughing. It gave you a recap of the last book that I thought it could do without. But I am loving Harleys character and now Clay(hot cia agent/ex) makes it so much better. And of course it left on a cliffhanger so I'm immediately starting the next book.

Maybe some memories aren't intended to be left behind but instead carried with us as a reminder that there are moments when love is like magic, transforming the landscape of our souls forever.

Lili Valente continues to write books that show both the darkest and most tender sides of the human psyche. Even though Harley loved Clay in her own fashion, he nonetheless became collateral damage in her plan to destroy the man that had ruined her own family, making it easy for the love that he'd once felt to evolve into something very much like hate. But when push comes to shove, and the two are forced to compromise in order to save the one true thing in their lives, it is clear that the flame that burns between them has never been fully extinguished.

FILTHY WICKED GAMES is rife with passion, intensity, and intrigue, but there is also hope and the possibility of redemption. Everyone deserves a second chance, and Lili has created a story that reminds us of this again and again. Clay and Harley are written as real people, people that have made mistakes, that are looking for the opportunity to rewrite their story and start again. Blasted cliffhanger aside (heck, I'm just going to say that it only adds to the edgy plot, and will make the ending all the more satisfying!), I really love this story, and give it an easy 5+ stars. CRAZY BEAUTIFUL FOREVER can't come quickly enough.

But as the days seep by and Harley continues to fight him with her persevering strength, despite his frustration, Clay is forced to admit to himself how impressed he is with her unwavering strength of mind. But as they are both running out of time and with their joint determination of accomplishing the same task which is to keep their son safe from harm, can Harley and Clay ever let their guard down and learn to work together towards the same end or will their past continue to haunt them and hinder any semblance of doing what will ultimately help them both reach their common goal?
Filthy Wicked Games is a fantastic addition to this series and once again Lili Valente has turned up the heat in every way possible. The continued sexual tension and attraction between Harley and Clay is incessant throughout book 2 despite the force of anger shared between them which continuously kept me on my toes and wondering if they would ever be able to overcome it. But alas I am left hanging once again and must now await the release of book 3 to discover whether this amazingly intense and passionate couple will be able to keep their son safe and ultimately find their happily ever after. This book was hot and raw with a great thriller of a plot!
This novel is the start of a follow-on series from this author’s previous series. I didn’t feel that I needed to have read the previous series, as there was enough relevant information to piece together the history between the two main characters, Harley and Clay.
Harley has been working for ruthless drug lord, Marlowe, for a good many years. She’s done it to make enough money to disappear with her young son, Jasper, who she has kept hidden from her boss. She hadn’t banked on the near impossible task of getting out from under Marlowe’s rule, but she’s on the cusp of putting into play a new scheme that will fake her own death, so she can disappear forever. Unfortunately, she is drugged and abducted by an unknown quantity, and when she regains consciousness, she finds herself face to face with the love of her life and father of her son, who she has believed to be dead the last six years – Clay.
Clay believes that he was played by Harley six years ago. Her lies and lust for revenge caused him to ruin his best friend’s life. He will do anything to take his son away from Harley, who he believes is a psycho. However, neither can deny their mutual desire, in spite of the hate that has sprung up between them. So begins a game of cat-and-mouse. Neither can afford to let their guard down. Who can out-bluff the other?
This story was incredibly sexy and the chemistry between the characters was incendiary. The couple were deeply in love before the accident that separated them, but a lot of truth has come to light in the intervening years. Clay is desperate to know his son. Harley is desperate to hang on to him. Clay is a pretty straightforward guy, who has been ruined by Harley’s lies. Harley is a complex woman, a product of her upbringing by a devil of a father, and broken mother. She finds it difficult to trust people but, ultimately, she’s a survivor.
The book ends on a cliff-hanger, but it’s a great plot!

Filthy Wicked Love is the second serial in the Kidnapped by a Billionaire series. It is also a spin-off of the Bought by a Billionaire Series. You can easily read this series without the other but I do recommend reading both since they are hot, twisted and addicting. Now, back to Clay and Harley's wickedly sexy story.
Filthy Wicked Love continues where Dirty Twisted Love ended, with Harley trapped with the ex that she never thought she would see again. He wants what she is not willing to give up. Their son. Clay's mind is set on revenge because of all the lies and torture she put him and his best friend through. But, his body is telling a different story, it wants Harley so much that it hurts. And he knows that she is feeling the exact same way so let the games begin...
Clay and Harley feel the hate between them but they also feel the desire. The heat. The want. Clay and Harley know to use this their advantage. A Review of Filthy Wicked Games by Lili Valente
Lies and Games - 5+++ stars
This book picks up where the last book left off. We actually get to go back to when Clay and Harley first got together and how she had planned things to work out, but she never expected to really fall in love with him. Then we pick up with Harley in the prision cell with Clay trying to break her down. We learn that she has actually been there for over two weeks now, which throws her into a panic, because she has missed her drop date and knows that Marlowe will be looking for her and that he may learn that she has a son she kept hidden all this time.
"Harley's been through hell before, but she's never met anyone as wickedly sexy as the man her ex has become. Clay is one twisted bastard. The only thing more twisted is the way her body ignites every time they touch. She can't say no. He won't say yes. And both of them are determined to be declared the victor in the filthy, wicked game they play."
He keeps asking for the information on where their son is and he even offers to destroy her CIA file if she will give up the boy to him. They go round and round with each other, neither of them trusting the other, until she ends up conking him over the head. Instead of running immediately, she drags him out of the water before she bolts. Once he catches up to her on the boat, he has come to the conclusion that they are going to have to work together to get to Jasper and protect him from Marlowe and the rest of the drug cartel.
"But sometimes even the sexiest games turn deadly, leaving innocent lives caught in the crossfire..."
This is the second part of a trilogy, so if you are against cliffhangers, wait until all three parts are out so that you can move from one book to the next. Definitely worth the wait, though!

This is the continuation of the Dirty Twisted Love series
The book opens with Harley in a cell. She's unaware of the day or how long she's been there. She has been subjected to extreme heat and cold and is now being forced to listen to a song that has always haunted her. She's not sure how much longer she can hold out, so she succumbs to her lust and fantasizes about the only man she has ever loved and who is also the one torturing her. She knows he's watching and devises a plan to escape the cell by tricking Clay into coming in.
After two weeks watching and waiting for Harley to break, Clay has come to the conclusion that it is not going to happen. Clay needs a new plan. After witnessing Harley's strength in her attempt to escape her cell, Clay decides on exercising her to exhaustion. During their grueling hike, Harley is horrified to discover she's been imprisoned for two weeks. Marlowe has to know about Jasper by now, she needs to save him. She begs Clay to reconsider his plans and work with her to save their son. Clay is reluctant and decides to continue with his plan.
I really like this series because the author does a great job of showing the characters' growth and development in a smooth form. Clay goes through a huge change in this part of the story and just when I wanted to see him in a different light, a huge curveball was thrown at me.
This book ends in a cliffhanger and had me on the edge of my seat at the end! I cannot wait for the next installment!

This author is back from her Domination series with a brand spanking new series that is sure to make kindles steam and panties wet. This is the second book in this series. This book was short but packed a major punch. This author got us just going and then bam... we are hit with an ending that makes us want to stalk her for more and let me tell you, I am on pins and freaking needles for book three!
You met Harley in her previous series. She was the one who we all hated... until the truth came to light and was exposed. Secrets. Lies. Deception. Now she is back to tell us her story. In this part of Harley and Clay's story, we dive deeper in their worlds. As we get further into their games, Clay wants answers and Hailey isn't willing to give in, no matter the cost... even if it means her life.
These two.... holy batman were they hot. These two, no matter what, are drawn to each other. Their bodies and chemistry don't lie. They are hot for each other and the passion is igniting. But these two are so twisted from the past that it is going to take miracles to see them through. I cannot wait to see how the final book plays out. Will they get what they both want and maybe a happy ending?

How Harley fell for the man that she tried to use to get her revenge but in the end found her soul mate. That was six years ago when Clay believed that Harley was good and sincere, falling madly in love with her. Book 2 picks up right where we left off from Book 1. If you've read Lili's other stories - you know you are in for a bumpy cliffhanger of a ride.
I enjoyed this book more than the first one. We got to see the start of Harley and Clay's love (even though Harley had ulterior motives). This book still contains some torture scenes, but we get to see more of Harley and Clay's hearts. Although neither character is very likeable - they are growing on me.
This time around both Clay and Harley have Jasper as their number one priority. They just each have different ideas as to how to do that.
Oh the cliffhanger once again - you just know book 3 is going to be more of the same with lots of sexy steamy sexiness!!

Lili knows how to reach the deepest emotions a person has within her books. Book 2 gives us a deeper connection to the characters good and bad and a better understanding of some of their past together.
Filthy Wicked Games starts with a flash back to 6 years prior. At first i was thinking what does this have to do with what is going on between them now. But you will quickly realize that it has vital information and explains a lot. the love/hate relationship that Clay and Harley have for one another hits an all time high in this book.
That ending!!! was just wow better than the cliffhanger in book 1 and leaves me wanting to know what is going to come next. I need to know what is going to become of Harley and Clay. Can they get over everything they have ever done to one another or is there more damage done than is reparable??

I read this book through A Love Thing, a free kindle download through Amazon, featuring a 10 romance book set.
First, this book is part 2 of 3... maybe more? So that was my first mistake. I didn't really know what was going on and it ended in a cliffhanger.
CIA agent Clay Hart drugs and kidnaps Harley Mason who just sent her son off with someone to keep safe while she fakes her own death. What I gather is they fell for each other one summer and that resulted in a child but they both thought the other was dead. Obvi they weren't. They both aren't great or trusting people soooo ya, this book wasn't for me.

This is definitely a thrilling fast paced serial! They are short but filled with excitement. Drawing you in so you gladly hop on to the next book. My minds working overtime to try and figure out what's gonna happen...to no avail, so I guess I'll read on!
