For six years vampire Lucas Strigoi dated the wrong woman. He was convinced she was his bond mate. Then she broke it off. Now ten years later she is marrying a man who proposed after 1 date and she needs him to remove the mark that claims her as an ally to the Strigoi Vampire family. She sends her little sister to collect him. What a shock it is to him to discover that Reagan Aliat is the woman he should have been courting. True she was only 16 then but it explains a whole lot. Now he needs to convince her that he now knows she is The One. Reagan has been in love with Lucas since she was a kid but he only had eyes for her spoiled older sister Taryn. She truly believes that once Lucas sees Taryn again he won’t want the baby sister. He is going to have to work hard to convince her and Taryn won’t be an asset.
I loved Reagan for her intelligence, fortitude and her zest for life I abhorred Taryn for too many reasons to list here and I absolutely adored this story. I found myself cheering and yelling and ended up doing a total happy dance. This story will suck you in and keep you reading till the very end.

Lucas Strigoi thought he had found the one sixteen years ago, he won’t make that mistake again until he realizes that the mistake he made was worse than the thought and the woman he should have been with was his ex’s little sister in this enthralling paranormal romance.
Reagan’s sister broke Lucas’ heart and he disappeared right after, taking Reagan’s heart with him and readers can’t help but be enthralled as Reagan’s family sends her across the country to retrieve Lucas for her sister’s marriage. The chemistry is hot and steamy but the romance is a bit on the late side since someone interfered all those years ago causing mistakes to be made and lots of emotional turmoil as these strong captivating characters strive for the happily ever after that they were denied in this fast paced smooth flowing plot that ensnares readers with suspense and romance while the intriguing events draw them in and refuse to let go.

I absolutely relished this story; it was a most exhilarating read. I eagerly await the November story. If you treasure fantasy romance this is an excellent book for your library. {I was given a copy of this book for a completely honest review}. In the world of fantasy romance the possibilities are endless and always fascinating. Without reservations I recommend this book.

Talk about a tortured man! The exterior didn't show it but Lucas Strigoi lived 10 years "in love" with a woman who was completely WRONG for him! And it took the right woman coming to search for him to show him that error in his ways!
When Lucas had his heart broken by Taryn Aliat he felt the bond the family drew was because of the strong love they had and she was set to be his Bondmate. And after 6 years of them being together he was devastated when she ended it. So he took off and didn't look back.
Unfortunately, Taryn had now found "The One" and needs Lucas to set her FREE so she sends her little sister, Reagan, on a quest to retrieve Lucas for this task. Reagan has always been fond of Lucas and is hesitant on seeing him again. But is guilted in going.
On the journey things come to the light and the feelings that Reagan felt for Lucas and things that Lucas failed to see previously is starting to come forth.
He begins to tests theories and open his heart again. Reagan starts to trust him until she gets home and her sister starts interfering. Lucas acts fast and works to solidify what they have built.
This was one of the longer books in the series and it took a bit more to build up to all the depth in the characters. And I loved seeing a bit of Adrian and also Zeus got to make an appearance.
I say it every time, each book gets better and better... The Mystics are so much fun!

Another fantastic tale in the Mystic Zodiac series. I have been curious about Lucas since he was introduced in Adrian's story (Book 8). The tattoo shop owner, this alpha vampire gets a surprise when Reagan shows up. She is an Ally, their families have been connected for centuries.
Oh, I really liked this couple. Lucas has a history with Reagan's spoiled sister but soon realizes he may have picked the wrong sister. Reagan was a strong female, yet her strong willed showed the cracks and pain as she tried to hold it together, constantly being in second behind her sister. A sister I seriously wanted to slap by the end of the story. Besides her antics, I loved this story. The connections between Lucas and Reagan was strong, the romance was subtle then steamy. I loved how he fought for her and the ending was great. This is my favorite book in this series. It is a must read for any paranormal fan.

Powerful emotions A must read book
WOW this book is just awesome. With so many powerful emotions of all type intertwined throughout the book. Two sisters who couldn’t be more different then each other a powerful vampire who believes his one true bond mate dumped him years ago. The younger sister who had always had a crush on her sister’s boyfriend. The older sister getting all the attention no matter the timing. And the realization that his bond mate was never the older sister, but what he felt was coming from the younger one. With so much between them and the hurt and pain can anything be salvaged? Well written and very entertaining to the point I could not put down until I finished reading.

I really enjoyed this book. This is the tenth book in the series and Chloe has another to match up. Reagan is an ally to vampire family and her sister has appointed her to bring vampire Lucas back before her wedding. Lucas is the one Reagan always wanted, but her sister got her hooks into him first. Lucas is a bad boy alpha vampire who likes his solitude, but his world is about to get all turned up side down. Now Lucas and Reagan are on a road trip of their lives. Lucas gets to know the other sister better, but there is something lingering that he just can't put his finger on. They get to know one another and find out some interesting things. Will Chloe be successful this time?

This was my first book in the series and I have to read the others soon! Lucas and Reagan are a great couple. They would have been together so much sooner if he hadn't been blinded/distracted by her sister.
Reagan is on of those characters that makes you fall in love with her from the start. My heart went out to her so many times in this book and I am glad that she got her happily ever after.
I can't wait to get and read all the others in the Mystic Zodiac series. I was given an arc for an honest review.

Having a great time with this series...nothing like an OLD vampire falling in love for real this time...LOL. It's definitely a story that draws you in and makes you not want to stop reading. The ending came too quickly for me and I'm a bit of a grudge holder so I wanna scream when a heroine goes from pissed to happy in 0.5 seconds flat but I figure that's what you get with a vampire haha
