Bear Fursuits #2

Bear Possibilities

Rate this book
Shifter Martha Metcalfe was living large and loving her lush curves in LA when she picked Navy SEAL Will Enright off a bearshifter dating site. But when she found her handsome, hunky mate in a shifter fight club she packed up and left town.

For four lonely, restless years alpha male Will has risked his life on missions for his country while seeking his missing Martha. His bear is mated to her for life, and no misunderstanding can change his feelings for his voluptuous woman.

When fate hands him a lead it may just be too late. A vicious ex-con is also tracking his Martha. And the rogue shifter is already three steps ahead of this warrior.

Will can hardly believe the dried up, buttoned down spinster he’s located is his bubbly Martha. But he is confident his bear can lure his passionate, vital mate out of hiding. Will Martha resist his efforts to win her heart and revitalize her bear? Or will she choose a lifetime of hard bear loving with this sexy, strapping SEAL?

Heads up: Bear Possibilities contains many scenes of explicit bear sex. If hot blooded shifters and their strong, confident, BBWs getting it on are not what you want, keep looking.

Book Two in the Bear Fursuits series, this novella has a HEA with no cliffhangers and can be read alone.

I would have given it three stars but the young bear Shelly was so very well done. The little bear had downs syndrome and the it was handled with a realistic but compassionate touch. The rest of the story was okay, but not great. It felt rushed and a little superficial. I usually really like this author's writing, so I hope it doesn't discourage first time readers of her writing. Please try some of her other books, you will really like them.

Nope!

I read the first book of the series and was completely underwhelmed but I already had this one in my kindle library so I thought I'd give it a chance just in case. Don't be like me, don't give the second book a chance. Both books jumped around years. None of the women can ever stop to talk to their partner to figure out miscommunications before they just take off. Plus a lot of other crap that is just plain dumb. These are just not my style I guess. Oh, and just because you're a bear shifter doesn't mean you have to call something specific a honey pot all of the time.....

This story was very well written. The author is able to pull you into the story and hold you captive. I was not able to put the book down once I started it. This story is about a bear shifter whos mate runs away from him then vanishes for 4 years. Now I can’t wait to dive into the next in the series.
