This book takes place in Rome, Italy, where our heroine Elena runs after something that happened in her personal life and she's in an immediate need of a change. There she meets Leonardo, one of the most handsome men she has ever met and who happens to be a billionaire, who doesn't want relationships, but still tries to pursue her and become her lover.

"You might have been able to get the things you wanted in the past easily, but I am not that easy to get."

"I'm not afraid of hard work."

I really really wanted to love this one and at first I was really excited because I started this book my last day in Italy. So I thought it might be the best timing to hold for a little more Italy with me. I thought it would make me sentimental and I did felt like that at moments. I did agree with many aspects of the book, saying "Preach it, girl!" All these Italian stereotypes, were so true and I can agree because of personal experience. But still, I didn't feel like this was it for me.

I turn around and it's like my own version of Carrie's Mr. Big from Sex and the City as Leonardo rolls down the limo window.

There were many things I definitely appreciated in my reading experience of this one, but there were also many cringe worthy moments. Some kind of inner thoughts that I couldn't for the life of me agree and made absolutely no sense, the hashtags, the actions of the heroine that also didn't make much sense. I wish I had enjoyed it more, but I'll give it 3 stars, because of the elements I did enjoy and because I think it was the debut of this author and I have hopes that there's room for improvement and I'm about to start the continuation after that twist at the end.

Oh, book... I think we want different things, you and I. I want characters that are real, and you can provide no more than stereotypical Mary and Gary Stus (I kid you not: a woman who's a Forbes "30 Under 30" CEO, who loves to eat and is rail thin, and worked double shifts as a waitress to get through college; a man who comes from money, but decided to strike out on his own to then make billions, and who also dates supermodels). I want at least the illusion of consent, and you give me... Definitely not that in a nightclub, and a restaurant, and the backseat of a car...

Fortunately, this book was so thoroughly ridiculous that it was entertaining more than infuriating. And with that being said, onto the sequel! #SummerReading #Hashtag

Oh boy, I don‘t even know where to start…
The story was so bad, unrealistic and the author actually used # in her book… #cringe!
It felt like reading a really bad fanfiction with a bad plot and a really shitty ending.
The protagonist is so annoying, instead of facing problems and addressing them directly, she hides like a 4 year old.
It‘s so much unnecessary drama… on less than 200 pages!
And the sex…. Oh well… obviously she comes always and even during the first five minutes! I don’t want to go into further detail…
The book was just a massive waste of time and I’m actually grateful it was over that quickly.
And even when the book ends with a cliffhanger i have absolutely no interest on reading the second book.

i enjoyed the writing ...the 1st book was more my style ... book 2 ... i gives ya the ending ... ending to that cliffhanger ... guess that is what u would call it. it seems kind of like it ends oddly ...like there should be more 2 the story? not that it ends again in a cliffhanger ...just like it need a nice bow around it and there is not bow??! i love the characters. wish u could know more about her best friend Sophie. had 2 look her up, to make sure i had the name right??! i am sort of reviewing them together ...to me u can not fully understand the whole story ...they sort of need 2 be called a duet?! No plane ticket home, no expectations, and a huge secret to keep.

That's how I find myself in Italy after catching my douchebag boyfriend in bed with another woman.

Thoughts of him are long gone after a tall, dark and handsome Italian man walks into the cafe I'm a barista at.

Mr. Beautiful has a vulgar mouth, commanding personality and screams 'alpha bad boy' ... everything I should avoid. But I can't stay away.

He wants friends with benefits and I want much, much more.

However, if I do convince him to have a relationship with me, I'd have to tell him the truth about who I am.

**"My Mr. Beautiful" is book 1 in the 2 book "Eternal City Love" series. Full series is released.

**Fans of Leo & Elena, if you'd like an update on their life, you'll find they make an appearance in "Encounters In Disguise" - book 2 in The Signs Series.

What do you do when you come home a little earlier than expected and you walk in on your boyfriend sleeping with his secretary? Get a fresh start… in Italy! That is exactly what CEO of a multimedia company, Elena Scott does. No return trip plane ticket. A fresh break is what the doctor ordered. While working as a barista, Elena meets Italy’s most eligible bachelor and billionaire, Leonardo Forte. He’s immediately taken with her. The problem is he doesn’t do relationships. He doesn’t believe he’s capable of loving anyone. Just think of what can happen if you can convince him he’s capable of loving and so much more… maybe, just maybe, he can show you how to live… I mean, truly live!

I honestly don’t know where to start, other than there’s a stalker… I don’t mean in just the book… I think I’m going to start stalking Caterina! I finished this in one sitting. I couldn’t get enough. Don’t get me wrong, there were moments of frustration and moments of anger, just from sheer misunderstandings… but I enjoyed this! Elena frustrated me with how she handled who she was. I get wanting to be anonymous, but after deciding you were going to start a relationship with someone… the least you can do is be honest. There were some characters written for you to purely hate them, and you will. The flip side is there are some really awesome characters to balance it out. The people who have become friends to Elena are TRUE friends. It will be interesting to see how the rest of this plays out due to this story ending in a cliffhanger. BUT… if you have a solid 90 minutes (at most), you’ll finish this in one sitting, and immediately move on the next one!

I really dislike insta love, but this book really kept me invested and I enjoyed it too.

The author has made Leo so so perfect that even when he acts bossy and all smarty pants, it's sickeningly cute. I like how Elena is also a really really successful businesswoman but I wanted her to reveal that, which she didn't do here, maybe in the next book *fingers crossed*.

This is a really fast paced story and everything is predictable. Nothing made me cry or anything, but I still didn't want to DNF this.

You know when someone is kind of being annoying but is too damn charming and so you just try not to smile? Yeah, that's what I was doing while reading this.

The ending... well that is the real twist and I'm super ready to start the sequel!

I know many people would give this a lower rating, but if you're looking for a cute, hot, the most eligible Italian billionare romance which will keep you smiling majority of the time, then I'll recommend this.

Elena hops on a plane to Italy to run away from her cheating boyfriend. Little did she know she would meet a hunky Billionaire. She decides to take a job as a barista in a small coffee shop and this is where Leonardo becomes as persistent as ever.

However, as fairytale like as it sounds, Leo has commitment issues and Elena isn’t your friends with benefits type of person. Their relationship has ups and downs but somehow they find their way back to each other. Eventually the hurt that Leo’s mother and Victoria causes her, breaks her and she decides to leave but not before saving Leo’s life.

Extremely sweet read.

I enjoyed most of this story. There were a lot of grammatical errors that took me out of the story, but besides that, it was a great immersive story. Elena was a great and charming character. I felt so bad for her and what she left behind and how she was treated. Her ups and downs with Leo were crazy. But all I wanted was for them to be togehrer. She drove me crazy at the end with how she allowed her doubts and the thoughts of others to have bearing on her relationship. She is so worthy. She is a damn CEO and millionaire! I don't understand why she allowed Rosalie and Victoria to talk about her so badly! Ugh

Let's move to Italy!

Leo and Elena's love story is so beautiful. Both successful and yet both broken up by what success brought them. Their initial meeting is hot and sweet at the same time. But sassy Elena is not easily swayed and her insecurities about herself shows up even if she tried to hide it. I love the way Leo "weaseled" his way through Elena's heart and his patience through it all. Thank goodness the next book is out otherwise I would not have been able to cope. On another note, I want a Sophie in my life! A friend like her is hard to find!

Interesting Concept

Elena is an American business woman who heads to Italy to take a break from the pressure and notoriety of her position. She works in a cafe and meets Leo. They hook up, for lack of a better term, and the story continues. This does end on a cliffhanger and I am curious to see if their relationship continues based on where it left off and the event at the end of this book. That’s what is keeping me reading. This story is interesting at times, but at others seems to lack something, but I can’t put words to what it is.

Elena needed a break from reality so she packs up and heads to Rome. She only tells one person there who she really is but keeps it from everyone else especially Leo. Now I’m not a huge fan of cliffhangers and usually wont read them but this duet looked really good so I wanted to give it a try. Also I knew the 2nd book was already out so I could just read them back-to-back. This story is only in Elena’s POV but there were some parts that I really wished was in Leo’s POV, like his birthday party. I was really not happy with that situation. I don’t care what his excuse was. I just wished she made him grovel a bit more. She let him off way to easy. And that Cliffy? Wow!! I cant wait to find out what happens.

Happy Reading 🤓

Oh man! This book gives me all the feels. Elena runs away to Rome after catching boyfriend cheating. Only to catch eyes with Leo who walks into her work. He is smexy and of course a billionaire who doesn’t stop until he gets what he wants. Spoiled right ha Their chemistry is off the chain & there’s some intense/action parts that keeps you on your toes. The spice is good too. He knows what he’s doing ha I highly recommend this duet. Love me some Leo.

Not great!

Few things I didn't like; the romance was straight off the starting blocks. As it's a 2 book series, a slow burn would have been better. Lots of dialogue issues, I did wonder if it was translated from another language. My main issue though was it was just a bit amateurish, and without character definition. Won't be reading the second book, couldn't finish the first.

I just finished My Mr Beautiful and while I liked it and it was a quick read, I honestly felt like I've read this before. Then I Googled books similar and sure enough I've read the similar ones.

I did like that this takes place in Italy because that's a country I would love to visit. It was a great quick read and if you love that Billionaire romance types, this is a good one.

Holy hotness

This book started in the first paragraph!! Elena comes home to a cheating boyfriend and leaves. But she leaves to Rome. You know that lung grabbing, goosebump raising feeling you get from the one, she gets that with Leo. Their love is sweet. Some people around them are not. And the hot chemistry is wow. On to the next book! Read this you won’t regret it.

My favorite so far and I've read them all.

Great story, good chemistry, good supporting characters... Strong bonds, a great setting for the story..The main characters They are characters that you root for despite being perfectly imperfect. Both book 1 & Book 2 are amazing. I would honestly love to have a book 3 about them!

Omg how can we be left in such a cliff hanger!!! Read this book in literally 3 hours and it’s currently 12:57am where I am and NEED to start on book 2 to see how it continues. Does Elena live? Will he officially find out her profession? Will they stay together after this? Who is the shooter? So many questions!!

Going good

This book is pretty good, but this girl needs to have a bit more confidence, can’t wait to see how it ends and how she grows into herself. They deserve a happy ending for sure. And Leo’s mother is a right bitch..

Elena has ran away to Rome to escape her hectic life after she’s cheated on once again. She didn’t expect a hot Italian from the same line of work to sweep her off her feet. Their connection is steamy and strong but life keeps getting in the way. Still can’t tell if I trust Leo or not!

Super saucy

Wow this book is so steamy I couldn’t believe it. The story line is very similar to 50 shades of gray yet has its own uniqueness. I did like this book even considering the similarities. Book 2 onward!
