Konar City, built upon a mountain, ringed by the formidable Outerlands. This is all that Ajax knows, his memory robbed from him by a prolonged stay within cryogenic stasis. Except his memory has returned, in part, thanks to a telepathic, murderous prisoner named Joel, the very man Ajax had himself imprisoned to kill. The snippet of memory has awoken questions that Ajax cannot find the answers to. Yet these have to take a back seat, as the price for his freedom from prison includes losing Ilya, the woman he loves. In order to stay loyal to his word and remove himself from Ilya's life Ajax finds distraction in the slums of Sector Six, where Ajax's limits will be tested beyond anything he has experienced.
The second in a series of books, Ajax: Relinquished tells the action packed story of Ajax's return to Konar City, where he finds out the true extend of his all-consuming bloodlust, and just how strong his word is.
If I could give this 10 out of 5 it wouldn't be enough! Coming to the end of this book upset me as I felt I was losing friends, not just characters in a story. The author has managed to not only create an amazing story, but also a group of friends that you can't help feeling you are part of. You don't just read this story. You're there! So looking forward to the next one, it's untrue!!!
