After a terror cell get access to chemical weapons Dylan goes undercover as a recent Muslim convert in Syria. Realistic depiction of refugees in Europe desperately trying to get somewhere safe and the dangers they face. Good premise, a mass migration to the US on a single day means limited checking is done allowing many terrorist to arrive on the same day. Unlikely that a new recruit would be allowed such access to a leader or a mission but apart from that a fiction that feels possible.
Another brilliantly thought out story involving real happenings in the crazy fight against Muslim terrorism. Dylan and the team are up against ISIL who are determined to wreak havoc in America. The trail leading from Syria, through Europe and to the States. A nice little twist which is so believable adds to the thrills and action. Brilliant.
This was another captivating story from J. Robert Kennedy. I highly recommend it. The story is very appropriate for today and the migration of terrorists from ISIS through Syria to wreck havoc on America. It is a story that has a lot of realism to it.
So far, this has been my favorite Kane novel, as he actually turned out to be the "main" character in his book unlike most where he often plays a more minor role in his series. This is one of those books that really make you wonder if such a thing is possible.
Book 5 was a fun read and had a few errors throughout. The plot and characters are developed well. The plot was interesting and went back and forth between characters. The overall was an interesting and scary possibility of events, but worked out in the end.
Wow! The action keeps on going — non stop. The scary thing is that the situations depicted in this book could happen. Hopefully, we won’t become complacent to the “tiger at the doorstep”.
