Riley Simmons has two days before her rent is due and the money left in her account wont ever cover half of it. For three months she has searched for jobs and only managed to secure a few hours per week at the coffee shop in the neighboring building. Having no other option, not wanting to lose her apartment while still searching for that dream job she hovers over the blinking cursor. She did have a job interview in two days; but she could do this until she landed that job. It was just like dating right? Checking the website later, ewwwww – but then there was one. Maybe this might work until she found that job.
Alexander Maxwell makes these arrangements often. Its easier this way and there is no chance of getting hurt or having someone clingy. Exclusivity is the name of the game and the woman being at his disposal. When its time to cut the ties then they are cut with no repercussions.
Riley knows Alexander's offer is almost too good to be true, but can she do this? What will she lose in the process? And what happens if she meets someone … like the beautiful stranger that she bumped into heading to her interview. Then what ….
Riley and Alexander are not seeing eye to eye on everything throughout the series of course. Trust is broken and situations aren’t as they seem. Words can scar … and when they do .. is it too late?
This was a quick read to a quick but good series. Riley had a back bone which I like and Alexander was caring for the most part. There is some drama that you wont see coming or I guess some really interesting eye brow raising news in Book 3. I liked the characters and the story was well written.

Hooked Book 3 is the final book in the Hooked Series and I have to say this has been the best series so far by KB Winters. Not only was I engaged in the book the entire time, but the level of emotion that KB was able to evoke from me as a reader created such an amazing connection with the characters.
In the final book we find Riley in some incredibly intense emotional turmoil. She is not only realizing that the arrangement between her and Alexander is not working for her but she clearly has deeper feelings for him. Alexander is such a complex character we do find out why he is this way and it's heartbreaking and anger inducing when you read it. The connection between the two of them is absolutely magnetic they are absolutely drawn to each other and have this amazing chemistry. These two have so many challenges thrown at them that they have to overcome and the emotions that come along with them.
KB Winters does such a fantastic job of creating that emotional connection between the reader and the characters. What a great conclusion to this series. K.B. has done a great job writing this series and I really felt for these characters and the pain and turmoil they go through. I think she is more forgiving than I would be, but I like to make a man sweat when he acts like that. LOL To each their own.
In this book Riley is realizing that her feelings for Alexander have developed past the no strings arrangement and has turned to love. What is she to do? Alexander is against being involved more than the arrangement they have so she is lost as to what to do. She learns who her mystery man is and she is scared that Alexander will find out she accepted to go to dinner with him. She confesses to the mystery man about her feelings and Alexander catches them but he flies off the handle thinking something else is going on. We find out why he is the way he is in this book and it is heart breaking that he had to experience what he did.
Will Alexander return her feelings? What happens when she loses everything? Will Alexander be able to pull his head out of his butt in time?

Very Strong four stars!!! Loved this book very much! Great concept and although the male lead is hard core at first he’s really very sweet.
Riley is so likable and Alex is just so….well dreamy comes to mind first. He’s got serious trust issues but Riley is definitely the woman to make him see that not all women are out to nag the billionaire.
Riley wants her prince charming. She truly doesn’t care what he does or how much money he has. She wants the true love. To know that she loves someone with her whole heart and that she’s getting back his whole heart too.
But when Alex thinks the worst of her and she’s forced to quit the job she loves and walk away from the man she loves what will happen to her? She doesn’t really have anyone. She’s always just stayed to herself so she doesn’t have a ton of friends. She moved from home so her family isn’t there.
Will Alex come to realize he had what he always wanted right in front of him? Can Riley forgive him?

This is the third and final book in the series, i have to say I thought this authors last series was her best, but then whooo she breaks this series out and I am in love with it. Riley and Alexander are now one of my most favorites of KB Winters.
In this third and final book in the series we see so many highs and lows, from Riley thinking Alexander has discovered that she was going to go a date with his brother, and then there is Riley finally admitting that the arrangement that she has with Alexander is no longer what she wants, that she wants a real relationship with him. But in a blink of an eye everything good in Riley's life is taken away from her, her job and the arrangement she has with Alexander. When will Alexander wake up and realize what he has with Riley was real and not some arrangement???

Review
5 Perfect Stars
This was the perfect ending to a really good series. Riley and Alexander have exciting chemistry throughout the series. Lucas added just the right amount of tension. I am so sad to see this series end. In order to appreciate this story, you must read books one and two.
I really can’t say much about the story because I don’t want to spoil it for you. You well definitely fall in love with Alexander, he is really a very likable guy. Riley is the perfect match for him. However; there is something up with Lucas and he may just surprise you.

Alex has lunch with his brother Lucas and then imforms Riley he will be working at the company. Things don't seem to change any between the two at all. But when Riley is confronted not once but twice about how she feels for Alex she can't help but remember what he first said to her. It was all supposed to be casual. When she is seen in Lucas 's office Alex sees what he thinks is happening but what is really happening. Will he and Riley find happiness with each other or will his assumption ruin everything.

Riley and Alexander are tempting fate. Having a working relationship by day and a playful contract by night is bound to catch up with them. Trust is imperative to Alexander. The question-can he trust Riley with his inner most thoughts? Will Riley share her feelings? Will Alexander open his eyes to some unspoken truths? Will the contract destroy them? Hooked book 3 was a great read with an awesome ending!

Hooked 3 is the final book in the Hooked series and it's just as good as book 1 and 2!! Riley and Alex's relationship is complicated enough, so lets throw another person in the mix!! Will Alex and Riley ever get a happily every after or is only an arrangement through and through? You've gotta read this series!!

Absolutely loved this series. I love how strong Alex and Riley are. You really can feel their chemistry. Great conclusion. Written well. Fantastic!
