Concise and elaborates on a lot of lesser gods/heroes that not many major mythology books do.

Lovely book, brilliant pictures and layout. I love the mention of minor gods, goddesses and creatures as well as how the stories were all interconnected rather than told separately. However, I couldn't find the page with the list of sources save for the credits given to the images used and also on the page about Hades it says that he is the younger brother of Zeus and Poseidon- which just isn't correct? I looked around to see if there might be any debate over the order of the gods births but I couldn't find anything to back that information up so now I am worried about more possible incorrect information that I just haven't caught yet.

3 stars. It was a lovely book with basic information in a digestible layout. I find it very taxing to read non-fiction, but this was helpful. I am surprised the Hekate was only mentioned when talking about other deities. Maybe I skipped over the page? When I looked on the index she was only on other pages. 3 stars for that alone.
