Some parts of Future Proof--like this issue--feel like those in-between moments where the writers let the story breathe by bringing in other elements that just add a little color, or that completely add in a whole other angle for readers to think on. Both are done in this issue to good effect. Also, the art is still nuanced in bringing in the taste of the period its featuring, which I love--as well as the famous historical quotes that are sprinkled throughout.
