Nestled in the wooded hills east of the San Francisco Bay, Dublin's sprawling valley has welcomed people from a variety of backgrounds
throughout its rich history. At the heart of the tri-valley region, this former agricultural area has grown exponentially over the years, forming a modern
city with a solid community-oriented heritage. From California's first native inhabitants, through the Spanish and Mexican periods, to the arrival of the first American settlers, Dublin has long been at the crossroads of culture and settlement.

One of the series of historical books on speific towns, this one was better than some I've read. They included much of the early history of Dublin, CA - much of which I recalled from previous reading but they also included information that I was not aware of previously which was a nce surprise. As with the other books in this series, they paid too little attention to more recent times, but all-in-all, this was a fun read.

Great visual history of Dublin CA. Interesting to see through pictures the people that pioneered and transformed Dublin into the city of today.
