Cuando todo parecía perdido para Iwakura, después de lastimarse el pie, afortunadamente aparecen otros supervivientes, Shinpei Hanabata y Yuji Kasahara, que tienen sus propios secretos, que ayudarán a los amigos a volver a Shuran Academy. Pero antes, vuelven a toparse con la criatura misteriosa que parece controlar a los infectados. Después de un enfrentamiento encarnizado y descubrir que no pueden matar a la criatura, el super cerebro Numann propone que lo capturen para experimentar con él.

And so the four boys set out on a mission to get ammunitions from a military base near the prison. Along the way, they realize that the rural areas have lesser and calmer zombies unlike in the city where the zombies were more violent and are greater in quantity.

After reaching the base, they saw that almost all soldiers have fallen as victims to the virus as well. Only a single survivor met them but died unfortunately afterwards.

In this volume, a different type of zombie were encountered by the boys. They also met two humans who had a secret of their own.

Selain menyeramkan, zombie anjing itu ternyata lebih lincah dari zombie manusia. Maeda dan Iwakura terdesak hingga akhirnya Iwakura memutuskan untuk berkorban. Kemudian flashback kehidupan Iwakura sebelum masuk Akademi Shoran diperlihatkan.

Dan ternyata, si zombie putih yang bisa mengendalikan para kawanan zombie kembali. Dia tidak bisa mati dengan tembakan kecil dan sepertinya dia mengincar Maeda (entah apa alasannya, mungkin karena Maeda karakter utama).

Quick review: it is with this volume that I made the decision to buy the rest of the series in one fell swoop. The "dogs" make me sick to my stomach, marking the first time that freaking sound effects in a comic book have made me feel actual horror. This is gory, terrifying, and all around a great horror comic. So far, I highly recommend the series!

It was crazy and scary. Sumpah seram banget volume ini tuh, rasanya aku bisa gila kalau ada di universe itu. Agak-agak mules juga bacanya. Sudah sampai di volume 3 dan series ini masih asik buat diikuti. Recommended. 👏

PS. Volume ini ada humornya, tapi sedikiiiit banget. Mau ketawa, tapi masih tegang. ;;

The boys gather weapons and ammunition and encounter some wild creatures that certainly can’t be defined as normal zombies. I like how the zombies are being controlled by angelic creatures with strange powers, it’s definitely not something you usually see in this genre.

Nothing original in the story itself, but the drawings are amazing. It's gory. It's streaming with blood everywhere and there is fighting's scenes in every corner. Bitings, bullets in the head, iron bars fights and even chopsticks become lethal weapons against the zombies.

Inabe Kazu's drawings are worth a visiting. I expect the volume 4 to know how things will turn out with the addition of new crazy survivors from the end of volume 3 ...

If you think it can't get worse..... I still find it interesting that we find out more and more about the characters, we get backstories and much more. And the zombie apocalypse is getting creepier with the minute.

Meski Maeda dkk. berhasil tiba di markas tentara Jepang, ternyata di sana menunggu zombie berwujud anjing yang lebih lincah dan jauh lebih berbahaya. Dalam keadaan terdesak, muncullah pertolongan. Tapi baru saja mereka bisa bernapas lega, datang lagi bahaya yang paling mengerikan.
