Extrapolate a little too much from the sources, most notably the lives of the saints. In addition a large part of the book (1st part) has nothing to do with Clovis and could have been removed. But this book is a must have for whom wants to have an exhaustive view of all available sources mentioning the first French king. Sources are quoted in full in French and Latin in appendix. (I read the 2013 French edition).
