About the author

Jeanne Hardt

Jeanne Hardt has always been involved in the creative arts in one form or fashion.

In November of 2010, a dream inspired her to write her first novel. Having moved from the Northwest to the South in the mid-nineties, she was drawn to Southern history.

Though she moved to Tennessee to pursue a career in music and acting, once she set her hands on the computer keyboard, she discovered her true passion and hasn’t stopped writing since.

Her stories are far from typical romances, though she promises a happy ending. She’s recently branched out into other genres, including young adult and contemporary women’s fiction. However, her true writing passion will always remain with historical fiction.

She currently lives in Tennessee with her husband, their little dog, Jax, and a multitude of dreams.

A book with it all

I left the first book wanting more. In the pages of this second book I was captivated. This book will have you going through all the emotions you can think of. So cleverly crafted. Once you start you wont be able to stop reading.
I am off to the next book with great anticipation

Good

I read into the wee hours. I liked the story . There were some superfluous characters that really didn't add to the story. Some of the connections of the characters are muddy and at times confusing. Will proceed to the next one.

Great Book

I love this author. I can barely lay the books down. This story had many turns going and I am grateful the problems are solved by the end. The characters are interesting and sometimes funny.

As usual, the twists and turns in all of the Jeanne Hardt books kept me on edge! I can't wait to start book three of Southern Secrets.

This was so good. The story had me in the middle of everything. I wanted to scream at the characters and I will mention the one person who was getting on my nerves Victoria. Claire I think was my favorite and her aunt. I would say this book was just as good as the first. I can't wait until the 3rd one comes out.

Very slow plot

I was almost going to quit reading this series. I wanted to see the hero & heroine together., and it looked like that wasn't happening. Luckily it did. I'm not sure I want to continue this saga.
