Dear Ms. Greenhouse,

I am reading a book called the Comanche Indians by Caryn Yacowitz. This book has a lot of information but not as much as the Iroquois book I had wrote about a week ago. But it has a lot of information. I am going to summarize a section of the book I read. This part is about the Comanche families. Comanche families are called bands. There is a leader for each band. Bands don't come together for ceremonies or special events. However they do come together when it is a life or death situation. For instance they would come together to fight and enemy in a war or if a baby is born. I am not done reading the section yet because I have been taking reading it slowly. So maybe tomorrow at the end of my personal response I will add a little more to my summary.
