Very dry, but great. I actually wouldn't recommend reading straight through it because it honestly isn't written for that, at least in my opinion. But it is a phenomenal reference work. It gets 5 stars primarily because it has the writings of untranslated writers like Hollaz, Calovius, and others. I will definitely be going back to this one a lot.

Great book for learning classic Lutheran theology.
