While trying to protect her daughter, Gloria Whitmore is left with one option – return to the hometown that never welcomed her. It’s still safer than where she currently lives. Olivia has her own set of problems. Henry, her best friend, lives next door and their relationship is not as platonic as they want people to believe. Olivia is scared that a family ‘curse’ will tear them apart before they can even come together. Making things more complicated, she has the gift of being able to know where things belong and sometimes who belongs together.

Alicia J. Chumney has her B.A. in English Literature from the University of TN at Martin (2008). Since middle school she has been scribbling in notebooks, on scrap paper, even in a restaurant ticket book one time (she still has the ticket book).

She lives in Tennessee with her cat, Molly, and a stack of books that she doubts she will finish reading in her lifetime. This is mostly because she spends a fair amount of time rereading her favorite books: Anne of Green Gables and Pride and Prejudice.
