“Aliens with all the time in the world. Licking their lips. Twinkling ever closer.” Pg. 63
Overall: A collection that had some nice moments and started promising but seemed too light-hearted and unremarkable for my taste.
Likes: •Some interesting messages •Has a way with words – quite playful with them and their meanings •Interesting ideas and format •Very varied concepts made it more interesting •Illustrations added a nice touch overall
Dislikes: •Some of the poems were just statements but told in a ‘experimentive’ way •Quite forgettable subject matters & poems •Didn’t seem the kind of tone I’m a fan of •The letter bits weren’t really poems in my opinion

Loved it. So daft and it makes you want to make your own poems up. Not just for children. I'm over 70.
