About the author

Tommy Tenney is the author of multi-million selling The God Chasers series. He has written more than thirty books, with eight best-selling titles to date. Tommy has books in over forty languages, traveled into more than seventy-two countries and television broadcast into one hundred twenty nations. Tommy spent ten years pastoring and has spent over twenty years in itinerant ministry. His two passions are leading others to seek the presence of God and encouraging unity in the body of Christ. He is the founder of GodChasers.network, a mission's ministry organized to assist pastors globally, and distribute Tommy's teachings through various media. Three generations of ministry in his family heritage, and three daughters, have given Tommy a unique perspective on ministry. Al principio pensé que este sería un libro motivacional de esos que te animan pero no te inspiran, que te dan el pincel pero no te muestran exactamente cómo pintar o por dónde iniciar. Definitivamente no fue así! Me enriquecí bastante al leer y estudiar las historias bíblicas utilizadas. Pero lo más fascinante era cómo el lograba unirlas en un punto.

Me encantó que el autor no se enfocaba nada más en mi como lector. No me hablaba a mi. Le hablaba a mi espíritu y no con palabras vanas sino con ejemplos de historias bíblicas a las que el autor le sacaba todo el jugo(revelación).

En cada historia me sentía parte de la película...ya sea como personaje principal o como secundario. Pero siempre me senti parte. Y como parte, debo decir que amé el lenguaje tan llano y coloquial con el que se escribió el guión.

This one is quite different from all the other books of his I've read in that this one takes a single little-known Scripture passage and expounds on that, rather than developing a theme using multiple Scriptures.
