My stepbrother Richard is a Dick, at least that's what everyone likes to call him. Dick is popular, badass, and panty-meltingly hot... And did I mention I can't stand him? His relentless teasing makes me squirm in more ways than one. Ways I've never even experienced before... I'm so f*&ked.
Dick My geeky stepsister has always been easy prey. She gets so flustered when I tease her, and every time those pretty cheeks turn an angry shade of red, I can't help but find myself turned on... She's not as nice as she lets on. The way those pencil skirts hug her curves has me following her all the way to UCLA, but she's got a deep dark secret she's been carrying for all this time. My pure, untouched stepsister is hungry for someone to dominate her. And not just anyone will do. I'm the Dick she's craving.
Dick is a standalone romance novel with a HEA and absolutely NO CLIFFHANGERS! To celebrate the new release, for a limited time, your copy of Dick comes with a bonus novel, Stepbrother Fixation.
I thought I m going to read something wicked, something naughty, something simple but totally hot love scenes from the tittle itself.
It was a huge mistake. The story itself seems to be nice at the beginning. In the middle was lack of emotion. All the plot was a big no no. So BIG NO NO. It just like all the character was a group of idiot people, even for the hero. They all weak, boring, and aside from his (the hero) great, tan, muscled, hot body, contain a super meh brain. Come on, he describe himself as a Dom, but come on, what kind of super duper idiot sub will fall for a moron brainless Dom? Only in this book :|
What really hook the emotion was the villain. Really. He was smart, arrogant, bad guy, and have lots of connection. See? Anything weird in this plot? And the conclusion itself was a big boring. It was like when the author write the problem, she has no idea how to solve it, or maybe she got the idea, but just unable to put it into words, so it was become boring and a no no conclusion and suddenly the hero (the stupid one), and the weak heroine, win. And~~~~ That's it.
This book was a heck of a lot better than the Stepbrother Fixation, a 2, that is included with this particular book. I still don't understand why authors don't get reliable editors prior to releasing their brand of art. I mean come on. People like me with learning issues already hate that we have to re-read passages just to comprehend it the first time. Having to do it 5 or more times just to realize that it's not you that's wrong but whatever you're reading that's messed up, it's beyond irritating.
On another note, these step-siblings were really interesting to read. I am particularly not a fan of some dominating situation, this one wasn't my favorite. You get 3 because I absolutely loved the chemistry between the characters and the characters themselves. Another reason it's not higher is based on my previous issues with comprehension/ grammar problems. I'm also was not impressed with the language between the characters while in domination mode. It sounded sort of childish, I mean she's supposed to be a brainiac & he's supposed to be a fairly intelligent jock.
Dick: A Bad Boy Stepbrother Romance, most would look at this story as taboo. Richard and Jessica aren't related by blood just by marriage. Richard is for a better work a "Dick." Showing up to her "party" and starting a game of truth or dare Dick knew what he was doing. He desired Jessica and Jessica desired him. I didn't like her ex-boyfriend Michael, you could tell that there was something not quite right about him and her "bestie" Becky, knows nothing about girl code, lusting after Jessica's ex, spelled trouble from the start. It was nice of Dick to give up a Yale education so that he could keep and eye on Michael and Jessica, for different reasons. Who knew Jessica liked a little kink. Really sad about what happened to Becky and really glad that Michael got what was coming to him, although we really don't know if he and the rest of his cronies went to prison.
The book was a little fast pasted for me and not quite what I was expecting. I received this book for an honest review and I can honestly say it was an okay read.
Dick isn't quite the Dick his stepsister Jessica thinks he is.
Sure, Dick’s cocky and pushy and loves pushing Jessica’s buttons, but after going too far and embarrassing her at a party, he realizes that his feelings for his stepsister are more than (step) brotherly.
After Jessica reveals some private and embarrassing secrets to him involving her need to be controlled, Dick helps her realize that she has nothing to be ashamed of.
This book is well written and hot, but it feels as if the author went overboard on the political correctness to compensate for the book’s taboo nature and some of the story lines.
Dick is dirty and explicit but more clean cut than the description indicates. The way the story developed didn't interest me as much as I expected, but that's just my taste.
I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
It was good at first and it was a bit interesting but I was put off because of the heroine's masochistic side and then the guy started telling her about stuff about pain and blah... If this book was released 2 or 3 years ago, I would have liked it, but masochism... that was old news, I've read hundreds of books about BDSM that just a mention of masochism is a total turn off for me. I skipped a lot since then.
It's a short novel. Written in 1st Person POV. I like the writing style but the story's really not that deep or anything. It was a light read and it would have been better if the issues were different...
I was given a complimentary copy for an honest review by author Nikki Wild.
Jessica is getting away from her jerk of a stepbrother Richard but when he shows up on her college campus things between them change for the hotter after he saves her from her ex. Dick knew that his stepsister was hot but when they have a talk after her ex pulled some crap at college he finds out just how hot she can get with him.
This is a scorching story by the author. This book is for mature readers because of sexual situations.
Jessica has a thing for her stepbrother, but Dick doesn't know it, yet. They end up attending the same college, because Dick is determined to protect Jessica from her ex...Wow, some unexpected twists, and a sizzling hot read. Fantastic!
I received this free book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
This was very interesting. Jessica just wanted someone to understand her wants and needs. Sho chose two who she thought would be the one, but she had one forbidden and one crazy. She chooses who she thought would be right, but was she right or wrong.
I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I made it 30% into the book and gave up on it. I liked how it started and thought it was going to be a good college romance but then it got weird. It turned into a dominant and submissive relationship between the siblings and it was strange. I couldn't read anymore
As step brother romances go this was fairly typical with a little twist regarding an ex. My only complaint is with the abrupt ending. An epilogue could have been used to tie up all the loose ends.
I quite like a college romance and there was the complication of Dick and Jessica being step Siblings which added to their story. I was surprised at the dominant/submissive relationship that developed but it was most certainly hot. It felt a little rushed at the end but overall, a good read.
Sorry to author. This book really did have potential but it just seemed to fast. Getting to know the characters and the little plot. Nothing haven't read before. And then queue...end book. Bummer....
This was one hell of a book. I was hooked from the very beginning. They is always a twist around the corner. And I loved that about this book. A must read for sure.
It was a good read decent story line. He's. But the bdsm aspect of the story seemed very forced, almost like the author was unsure of it. But still a good read
