Received this for a honest review. I have to say there are certain ones in this series that are my favorite and I have to say this one falls among them.
This story picks up where Cassidy and Abe are heading to Jackson Hole, Yellowstone National Park to meet Abe’s clan and his family. I think this is so great because this is taking the next step in their relationship. This will help Cassidy help understand a little more about her man.
I loved Abe’s father Copper. He is truly a loving father. He wants what is best for his son and is happy to see that Abe found his mate. He did not beat around the bush as far as saying he thought his son was crazy at first headed to Boston to find his mate. Copper has a good heart though some times he might over step his bounds.
Cassidy is feeling over whelmed in this book. She has just found out that Bob is causing problems and thing might not go as smoothly as hoped. Now she is being asked to do something by Copper that is just adding to her stress.
I loved Ingrid which is Abe’s brother’s mate. She is doing everything to make sure Cassidy feels welcomed right off the bat. I know this had to mean a lot to Abe and Cassidy as well.
This was probably one of the stories I found so touching not only because Cassidy got to meet the clan and Abe’s family but because Abe got to reunite with his father. Which as you will find out as you read is very important.
So, this part of the Shifter series was a better read for me. In it, Cass is being introduced to Abe's family in Wyoming and she's discovering more about the bear shifter lifestyle. She's also still dealing with the messy aftermath of her assault on a local news person. In the meanwhile, Abe's dealing with some news his father has given him, and his proposal to Cass, which was sweet. Nothing really wowed me though. I think I'm realizing that my enthusiasm for this series is also waning because of the lack of action or suspense (the other reason being the unnecessary threesome - IMO - that'll eventually come to the page). I think paranormal/shifter stories that include those things in abundance are more in my wheelhouse. There's nothing wrong with the author's story or writing style, but it's just a preference for me personally. Shifter feels more like a contemporary romance that just happens to involve bear shifters.
This is part 4 of the 5 part series, please read them in order to understand what is happening between Abe and Cass. Abe has asked Cass to go to a family (bear shifter) reunion of sorts in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. While they are there things start to heat up, not only are they having sex, but with Cass being an Alpha female, the whole clan us wanting her to become the Matriarch of the clan. Copper, Abe's father gives them some bad news while they are there, and it leaves Cass with a lot of decisions to make, as well as the law suit against Cass going forward and bad publicity starting back home in Boston. The only bright sides to the trip is Abe's marriage proposal, and Jason coming to visit. Loving this story and can't wait to read part 5, the finale !! 4☆'s !! I recieved a gifted copy in exchange for an honest review.
Learning she was a dormant Alpha female is throwing her for a loop, well along with finding out that Abe is her mate. Now she is about to meet Abe’s bear shifter clan. Saying she was overwhelmed is an understatement. While meeting his family Cass finds out so much more. Talk about a never ending story of adventure. Then throw in being sued, yeah crazy times for sure.
*Disclaimer... I received a copy for the purpose of review. The opinion stated above is 100% my own.*
So many decisions! With a road trip to meet Abe's bear clan. His father, is fun, but gives Abe some news. Cassidy lawsuit over hitting the news guy from making fun of her at the gym because she BBW. Jason comes to visit. Someone pops a question! Overwhelmed?! I think that may be an understatement! Can't wait for the next!
In this segment Abe is eager and hopeful that Cass will become his wife, but feels inadequate because of his financial situation since the divorce. Cass has problems with others' expectations for her despite their friendliness and acceptance. There is lots more, but no spoilers here. Audrey Lust continues with a remarkable audio interpretation of the many characters and emotions.
Cass and Abe go to his home to meet the clan. Abe has more in mind _but even more than he understood was about happen Can they handle it all so soon or will it end them?
The story is continuing with Cass and Abe travelling to his home. I love the family unity and warmth displayed by his family and clan. Lots to take in for her... Looking forward to more.
Abe takes Cassidy home to meet his family. Revelations come out in the open Will Cassidy be able to adapt to what is expected of her as a shifter Alpha and mate? - I was given an arc for an honest review.
I loved the way that the characters and storyline continues in this book. Can't wait to read part 5. If you like shifter romances then you will love this one.
This was a great book and i can't wait for part 6. It has everything from a great writing style to a great plot which was executed beautifully. It is definitely worth buying and reading
